This is the thread I eas thinking of:
https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/132316259/
It's an excerpt, not the full comic.
That excerpt sold me on giving it a shot after not liking Sabrina.
I've read all of them and sorta remember liking them, but in terms of "story" I mostly remember only the latest one, "Acting Class". His work has a very distinct feel to it, not only visually but also in terms of the narrative experience. The word I'd use to describe them is "uncomfortable"; intentionally, of course.
They're not pieces you're supposed to "enjoy" as such; they creep on you and build up an encroaching sense of unease. Very effective on that level, but obviously they're not for everybody.
Try Acting Class; the story is very different but I """enjoyed""" it more, and it's more thriller-ish and engaging.
>"enjoy"
I somewhat enjoyed Acting Class. I don't like the art, but it fits. It started off kind of dull, but got more and more interesting. The ending is kind of a cliche at this point, but it wasn't that bad. The effecr of uneasiness was, well, pretty effective. When stuff works like that, I love it.
I could never get far into Sabrina, but now that I read this, I might give it a try.
Never heard of them, so don't have an opinion. The covers you posted look more than a little off-putting, though, not exactly making me want to check them out.

Ugly. Story for Acting Class is decent, but it's like the comics equivalent of an A24 movie. Given the landscape of comics, you may see that as a good or bad thing. I lean more towards the former.
>What do you think about the comics of Nick Drnaso?
I don’t
Ok.
Anyone else?
No thank you
Not really familiar with him. I think someone storytimed Acting Class here once, but I remember being underwhelmed.

Thanks shill. Add an Amazon link next time, why don’t you.

Don't be such an asshole, don't be Cinemaphile
But doctor, I AM Cinemaphile
Pity bump. Not enough discussion about actual comics in this board.
I got Sabrina once years ago, as a Christmas present, and I barely remember anything about it. Maybe I should give it a re-read?

I love his work. Acting Class is my favorite, followed closely by Beverly. I'm a fan of his art but I can see how someone might not really like it.
They are all good, but Beverly is the best. Also, the art does fit these stories but I really hope he will move past this bland style.
>Beverly is the best
That's a first. I'll look into it again.

Sabrina? That's the one with the skunk, right?
Didn't care much for Acting Class but I fairly liked Sabrina
