This Raven had died and was recently resurrected by Brother Blood. She's bald as a baby because of it. Raven is an empath. She can't distinguish her feelings from everyone else around her.
She only got a tattoo because Kid Flash got a tattoo.
The importance of this scene is actually not meant for Raven, but Kid Flash.
He also got a tattoo, but his super fast metabolism is already breaking it down, causing it to fade.
Because of this, Kid Flash will bemoan his super power.
Likewise, Raven bemoans her super powers too. Monkey see. Monkey do. And perhaps she got a tramp stamp because Starfire (in the comics at least) is an unapologetic prostitute.
Something to keep in mind with Raven and Beast Boy's relationship. Does she really love BB? Or is BB just in love with himself? What happens when BB starts to hate himself?
~Drama~
I believe this is the issue where Deathstroke breaks Kid Flash's legs. Or shoots him in the kneecap. The reality of his super fast healing , established in this scene, makes this terrifying because his bones will heal incorrectly.
During this time, the titans are falling apart. They're not teens anymore. Robin/Nightwing and Superboy have been written out of the stories because they have their own comic line.
Nobody is really a "teen" anymore. Wonder Girl is a simp. She's nothing like wonder woman. She's the opposite of a strong independent woman.
Miss M, in Young Justice, is basically a combination of Wonder Girl and Raven.
The Crisis Event is right around the corner too. And, you know, the Teen Titan comics were already notorious for killing off new members. She can't deal with that. She's on the verge of a mental break down.
Plus she gets her powers from the Olympian Gods - and again, with the Crisis Event around the corner - the gods were all moving to a higher dimension, taking her power with them, because they don't want to deal with that shit.
After the Crisis Event, she'll join a cult trying to resurrect Superboy. And basically become a sympathetic villain.
Leaving BB as the senior member to recruit new members. Like Miss M, Ravager, Kid Devil, Blue Beetle. There's an aqua girl but she barely has a presence and doesn't really fit the theme everyone else has - that they're all borderline villains.
Ravager is Deathstroke's daughter
Miss M is actually a white martian.
Kid Devil sold his soul, so soon he'll lose his humanity.
Blue Beetle's scarab basically made him a sleeper agent. Although Young Justice did him far more justice than the comics.
Static Shock was also a part time member, giving him this duality. He can't commit to the titans - but then neither could anyone else.
The artists that draw them make them look like 45 year olds. It's probaby why that huhue artist titans is so popular, they actually look like teens for once
Wasn't she reborn as a teenager. Here she is in high school

That's post-crisis. Like 2009. She was resurrected with a teen body in like 2003.
Pretty sure that's not High School. But I'd have to flip through my collection to tell you where this is suppose to be.

I'll be damned. The 2008 Titans open with Raven introducing herself as "now attending high school"... for no reason.
This has to be an editorial oversight. It exists for like 2 pages. It's nothing but a set of stairs and lockers. I'm not even sure where it's supposed to be. I think they were just trying to pretend Raven had a life outside of the Titans...but we all know she doesn't.
It apparently has dorm rooms. (What high school has dorm rooms?!) In the same building!?
There a page where some girl wakes her up in her room, saying there's a "bear" downstairs to see her. Apparnelty "downstairs" is the school's locker hallways.
Raven's like "Muh Secret Identity" - no effort to elaborate on that.
She quickly moves in with the Titans and they never bring it up again.
The Titans also claim Beast Boy was the new leader of the Doom Patrol before rejoining the Titans. But that makes no sense either.
Raven at that point is like those girls from strict households, once Trigon was defeated and she didn't has that responsability anymore she went wild with the freedom.
At that point in the comics (2004) Trigon had been dead for 19 years.
This was a stupid book then and it's a stupid book now, done only to de-age Raven and turn her from classy to trashy.
Awualad got to be the most boring gay character every. You remember that family guy joke about British people sex? i imagine that's what it's like for him.
It's evident that the cover illustrators didn't read the comics. They don't know who's dead. They don't know Cyborg was nothing but a head and cables tucked away in a closet for the longest time. They don't know how old BB is suppose to be.
why do comics TT/YJ look so fricking disgusting and trashy?
Comic YJ is great though

Teen Titans Go makes light of this. Very cruel.

Superboy came back for a time, but he's a clone created by Lex Luthor. Not too different from his Young Justice versions.
But IMO, YJ took Wonder Girl and Superboy's relationship, and worked it into Roy and Artemis.
That reminds me. Didn't Artemis have HIV or something? Did they just forget?
Mia, girl speedy, has HIV. Artemis is whole different character in comics
Raven wasn't dead. Raven was non-corporeal. She was fine.
Because Nauck isn’t drawing them.
The artists that draw them make them look like 45 year olds. It's probaby why that huhue artist titans is so popular, they actually look like teens for once
>teens
They weren't teens.
The YJ cast plus the de-aged Raven and Beast Boy were all teens.
You're so wrong. It's hilarious.

Raven was turned into a 16 year old and turned into a high school student.
Beast Boy was 19.
Why does the bird face her ass?
gotta let em know where to target
But Raven’s never fricked a black guy?
She fricked black Wally.
My man tapping Emiko and Raven with Avery and Tanya wanting to slobber his wiener.
Swagger pimp.
2003 is new?
pretty sure op was talking within context of the page
OP should know that autists need everything spelled out for them and otherwise they can't understand and will take it at face value

This is from 2003.
That tourist in the blu reminds me of Spinelli's dad
You think aqualad is jealous that's not him kissing Wally?
Exactly. But Wallace don’t play for that team.
Awualad got to be the most boring gay character every. You remember that family guy joke about British people sex? i imagine that's what it's like for him.
It’s a black bird because Robin sticks it in her butt
imagine seeing that while fricking her doggystyle
i like the tattoo but it should be pointing up, not down. or just black raven wing tramp stamp would be cooler
Heh, I just noticed that. Like a bird diving straight to her crack. Blame that on the tattooer or I guess in a meta sense artist of the comic.
have a nice day.
He's speaking nothing truth though.
Why is it sniffing her butt?
they killed YJ for this garbage then butchered the characters
>im mad at daddy so im gonna get a tramp stamp
actually accurate writing
I would've put it on her navel.

DC girls were really in to tramp stamps in that era, huh? I don't think I saved the page where Supergirl got one as well.
>DC girls were really in to tramp stamps in that era, huh?
Both books edited by Eddie Berganza btw...
