I don't even think the people at Marvel believe Carol is gonna be their next Iron Man. I think it's just a sunk-cost fallacy and they're hoping if they shove her face in enough things, she'll eventually gain fans.
Out of those four, only Widow can be considered a "super"hero. I mean really: Gamora just tags along, Wanda was being babysit by the Avengers, Valkyrie is more interested in ruling. Only Carol choose to go around saving people, ergo a superhero.
What's so "super" about her?
Cap was lifting up cars and sending people flying with kicks. Black Widow only had girl power and choking people with her vegana.
People tried to pretend like Hawkeye was the lamest of the MCU Avengers, when his skillset was a lot more interesting.
Nobody really gives a shit big guy. You can nitpick all you like but to 90 percent of movie goers "Superhero" just means any heroic character in a superhero movie
Anyone that isn't a villain or completely neutral would be considered a hero. As for the super tag, it's just a term that can be applied even to those without powers.
success
Ah yes, that's why the followup plot for the skrulls was shoved into an unwatched tv show and her sequel can't even get into theaters
Because it was so successful
You gays gonna keep believing every bit of bullshit disney feeds you by buying their own tickets or look at the actual realities?
DUNC pt 1 only had a $40 million opening weekend, it'll be out of IMAX in a week, they won't tie up those theaters with a movie making less than $20 million domestic in week 2.
Dune 2? Oh shit, I was wondering if they were going to make more since the first movie felt like an adaptation choosing to follow source material even if it leaves the ending open, as opposed to shitting things up with an adaptation original spin.
Guess I'll have to watch it.
Hopefully they improve the CGI for Dune 2 because it was fricking rough the first time around, and the wooden acting and the script. Honestly just watching for the sound design so idk why you would even need imax for it. This fake news would get a lot more clicks if a better movie was releasing at the same time, would almost be believable to people outside twitter
Carolbros I don't feel so good.... this can't be happening

And I don't even know why I called Widow a "super"hero. She's just an spy.
She's a Soviet super soldier so in the same way captain America is a superhero
What's so "super" about her?

She's not "super", I don't know where did that guy get that. The only russian super-soldier that exists in the MCU is Red Guardian.

Nitpicking how? Carol is a superhero, she goes around helping people on her own, much like Superman.
Try reading the entire post you brainlet
I guess Happy Hogan is a goddamn superhero for his heroic act of running over Whiplash.
He's a bodyguard. It is literally his job to hit people who threaten his boss.
Natasha is a secret agent. It's her job to do secret agent stuff.
Wanda was a part of the avengers team lead by captain America between age of Ultron and civil war
I know, but it wasn't something she elected. Plus, she dropped the heroics right after Endgame.
>Only Carol choose to go around saving people, ergo a superhero.
and do we know if shes even been doing that for the last 30 years? seems shes done frick-all except for responding to a pager call

>Gamora just tags along
Gunn gutted her and took away everything that made her unique
The
"HER"
"A HERO"
bit in her trailer was grade-A comedy
I love how you redditors invented this false feminist narrative in your heads to get mad over and are still made over it almost 5 years later
Dune 2 will move, they know they can't compete with Carol.
They are very clearly stating that Carol can't hope to compete with Dune 2
No, Dune 2 has a contract.
>Zendaya
>timothée chalamet
Totally anon can't compete
I thought her first movie was supposed to be one of the best superhero movies of all time? Didn't it make a gorillion dollars?
It was and it did!
Carl was a one hit wonder and they no it, no one watching Endgame even remembers she was in it beyond the gag of Thanks knocking g her ass out of it
It shit all over wonder woman which was a more established female hero and the chuds couldn't cope hard enough to make up for it
Only by piggybacking off the REAL biggest superhero movie ever
Againts dune 2? I thought the Marvels wasn't going to have any competition, but with this they better make most of their money first week
Dune pt 1 was yet another sub 500 million flopper on WB's growing pile of them.
It managed to make 500 million despite simultaneously releasing on streaming and theatres during the lockdown.
>haters claimed first movie was gonna flop too
>massive success
>massive seethe
It's all so tiring
You tell em fellow Danver Defender

>still seething and tinfoil hatting four years later
lmao
>Losing IMAX screens
Join the club, said Tom Cruise.

Get DUNC'd!
I was going to say something but I hate DUNC and the original Dune novels so I;'ll the thread autism continue.

>CO
Marvels getting shelved and reworked for direct to home release.
