So you want naruto?
naruto never kills anypne
He destroyed the bodies of most of the bad guys on the show. The only villain he didn't do anything about was Haku
Naruto is for 12-year olds, opposed to Avatar which is for 10-year olds
Basically, Nick's own Samurai Jack?
I have the theory that when Korra passes, Raava would give birth again to Vaatu as she did say every time Vaatu is destroyed he is reborn as part of Raava. Each would bond with a spirit of a newborn baby, resulting in two avatars. I don't like this theory either because a dark avatar is pretty stupid, but this is the lore The Legend of Korra established.
The problem is they made Vaatu act like a stupid evil villain. Vaatu should be like Shiva. Raava is Brahma. The Avatar is Vishnu. For Avatar he's about keeping the balance between Raava and Vaatu, not destroying one side.
Avatar has more to do with Star Wars than Eastern religions
That doesn't mean Avatar is void of Eastern culture and philosophy.
This really should have been a reply to
, but what's done is done.
This is the first time I've ever seen or heard about this. I'm saving that infographic. This concept is pretty similar to Yin-Yang.
Yin and Yang are not good and bad, they're just opposing forces that push each other. Can't have war without peace and can't have peace without war. If there's a North, there's a South, if there is hot, there is cold, if there is light, there's darkness.
It was moronic as hell. I bet the only people who claim to like it are people who agree with everything Bryke says and does a.k.a. delusional fanatics. Hopefully this will be one of the details they retcon, but I seriously doubt they're going to touch what they estabished in The Legend of Korra much if at all.
Star Wars is inspired by a lot of Eastern stuff, but Avatar takes that Star Wars side, and comes with that good versus evil plot.
Edgy Avatar is basically Shiva or Kalki(Avatar of Vishnu)
doesnt shiva thrive off of war?
or am i thinking of kali
War is awful, but there are occasions when it is necessary. Peace is great but peace means satisfaction and stagnation. Sometimes you have to fight for a better life.
you just answered my question without actually answering it
impressive
>the DARK AVATAR
was there anyone who liked this shit
why is the avatar so strong anyway? i get that he can bend all 4, but the styles don't really rock paper scissors eachother so why wouldn't a regular bender be able to fight him?
Ty Lee is Earth Kingdom slave bought by Azula who she bought in order to have sex with that night but she found herself falling in love with the personality and figure that would disappear if she just forces her to have sex so as he was trying to seduce her while going around trying to find the Avatar and found out her slave is actually a capable fighter.
I would really hate to see Avatar in a modern or a futuristic setting, and given their trend of having each new villain encompass a new political ideology, I would love it if we got a villain Avatar who's anarcho primitivist, ecofascist, neo-luddite Unabomber-esque figure who wages war against industrialization and succeeds, so the Avatar after that is born into a primitive world that no longer trusts the Avatar.
I seriously expect the next Earth avatar to come from the modern world then the Fire avatar to live in a futuristic world. Seriously, when the creators were first envisioning a fantasy world, they imagined a boy on the back of a flying manatee in the far future.
So.... Kyoshi.
Nah, going by extended canon the prior Air avatar (Yanchen?) basically solved every issue with lots of murder.
Does this scythe look like it's for cutting grass?
