So, I finally watched the episode yesterday... and you know what? The whole JimmyKara Date did not annoy me, even with the whole shipping reaching fanfic levels of absurd, it was pretty standard and safe (not good, but not bad either).
What did annoy me was Clark and Lois' plot, I understand the "need" for the "break-up" or "break-up misunderstanding" plot, but damn it's annoying and feels forced as frick.
Then, you have Kara arrive at the studio and suddenly, JUST SUDDENLY, Earth is no longer fun and intriguing, but annoying and pathetic. Sure, the studio was noisy and packed with people, but it's not like the park and city were any different except for the park or the Planet's rooftop. What, is she claustrophobic? (which could be a cool twist...)
TL;DR: KaraJimmy plot was overall fine, ClarkLois plot was stupid and uncalled for, Kara getting annoyed at the studio made no sense.
To your credit. There is an insane level of Superman with Lois Lane. Realistically eho wouldn't want to frick Superman, Lois is basically put in her place, add daddy issues of abandonment.
Also you can blame Kara on Jimmy since he prolonged the date choosing the worst time to introduce Kara to Superman.
