The US fricking government proved that it was plausible brainlet. You'd have to be in the sweet spot about 1km away and inside a thicc fridge in a concrete building, but you could maybe survive
>Yes the Ark of the Covenant is real >Yes Kali is real >Yes it's possible to rip out peoples hearts and have them continue to live >Yes the cup of cup of Christ and ever lasting life is real >SURVIVING IN A FRIDGE? OHH NO NO NO NO HANG ON
No way, the sun is in the background setting in the west, which means the Earth is spinning in the direction towards the camera. If anything the Earth's rotation is moving the window towards us and further away from Dwayne Johnson.
This was probably intentional because you subconsciously feel tense when looking at the image because you realize he couldn’t make it, which draws your attention and makes the ad stick out in your mind
I'm so sick of movies, especially superhero movies, where someone jumps from a train or a plane or a car or something and when they land they just stick to the ground like they have magnetic boots. No rolling, no momentum, no inertia. They just go straight from 100 mph to 0 with the softest featherweight landing. Every time I see it I think "they just jumped up and down in front of a green screen."
No idea, but here’s a couple good ones where hard physics can be said to be wrong.
“Interstellar”
The time dilation next to the black hole wasn’t caused by gravity, but by the velocity of the planet around the black hole. I really wish they would have gotten that right.
“The Martian”
Mars does have 200+ mph dust storms, but at just over 1/3 EarthG, the breeze walks by like a gentle breeze i.e. the inciting incident could never happen. The author has stated his knowledge of as much, only that he input that contrivance for the sake of story.
Relative to Earth, the air on Mars is extremely thin. Standard sea-level air pressure on Earth is 1,013 millibars. On Mars the surface pressure varies through the year, but it averages 6 to 7 millibars. That's less than one percent of sea level pressure here.
Indaina Jones when he hid in a refigerator and survived a nuclear explosion

OP is moronic, you dont know how fast he was travelling before jumping
Shouldn't the trajectory tracks his hands?

OP fricking WRECKED.

Yeah, it's just IMPOSSIBLE to do that curve with a little bit more upward part at the start of it.

Just like how blue and green end up hitting at the same point???
Reminder that he is one-legged in the film.

But the velocity is so high because of the gravity, right?

I meant the first bit, with the time dilation.

What? You just yank back the steering wheel to lift the front a bit.
He just needs a piston with a portal on it to fall on him and he'll rocket to the other side.
he could've got a running start and been on the right trajectory in the poster, it's much more practical to make the jump flatly than to jump high
Gravity has some wonky stuff about traveling to other space stations.
