Reddit is millennial. If OP denies this is millennial, then nothing is millennial. What traits would OP say millennials have? I imagine he would project Zoomie qualities into millennials, maybe in an effort to feel young and with it?

For people, millenials were born last century and became adults in the current one. For internet platforms I assume it's fair to go by population.

Millennials aren’t as easily defined by trends or fads as gen x or gen z is. Being born at the turn of the millennia conferred god like consciousness and intellect unto us.

Zoomers were born at the turn of the millennia though. Millennials were in middle or HS by then

              >Being born at the turn of the millennia
              so: a zoomer

Both millennials and zoomers were born at the turn of the millennia, hence the name millennials. Zoomers also come after the year 2000 though and are kind of cringe hence why we returned to the xyz labeling. True millennials (89-96) are gods amongst men.

Why do soiboi redd*tors think they are clever if they can create the guidelines and labels of which we will use for discussion? You can go frick yourself, Firefly was never "le hidden gem" it was for moron LARPING geeks then and its for them now but they have increased in numbers and youre probably one of them. Buffy was for teen girls then and its for teen girls now, not for adult men. And your label game where you neatly organize and categorize all the faults and positive traits of a thing into a generational boxes (gen x, boomer, zoomer) is just another game to play to obfuscate discussing story craft or writing because then that would lead to productive conversation. Be gone you piece of filth.

Excuse me but Buffy was also for horny teenagers that hoped someone would show some meat.

Just because he's the guy millennial writers imitate doesn't mean people think he's a millennial writer. He's not representative of gen x writing because he stood out so much in that era.

Nah, gen X writing is like Tarantino or Kevin Smith where everything is a reference to a seventies or eighties movie. Millennial writing is quirkier.

Whedon started it. I call it Whedon writing, but it's not wrong to call it Millennial writing because Millennials were of the right age to latch onto it and emulate it.
Now we have a whole generation of writers that write like Whedon.

    So, Millennial writing.

Generations "media" is almost always produced by the preceding one. Breakfast Club and most of the Gen X classics were made by boomers.
