any examples of characters with "healing superpowers"? feels like a pretty rare one, likely exactly because it'd get boring as shit watching some guy just magically heal people at a hospital
One of the Dr Fates walked into a hospital and cured a girl's cancer with a finger.
And only that girl, noone else in the hospital. They walked out and left afterwards
Also Inza made magic self-automating globes that detect suicidal thoughts in people then cleanse them but then her husband got mad because that's interfering with free will if people can get their mental illnesses cured
ask a single mentally ill person if they would rather live with their debilitating mental illnesses or have them fixed for fucking free.
...Ok every mental illness except THAT one.
There was this now defunct webcomic named Strong Female Protagonist I know I know that had a interesting premise in one of the stories, this wolverine esque girl with regeneration powers decided to retire from heroing and become a organ donor spending the entire day on the operating table just regenerating organs to donate them to other people.
Being a self absorbed asshole who doesn't want to take their gifts and use them for the betterment of the world based on their own sense of self entitled whimsy. So basically a mutant.
Because Marvel civilians are retarded. There is that Elixir guy who does that but because he's a MUTANT he only heals the Sex-Men in their orgy island.

Well then God's will is to be denied by The Man. Too bad God, go have business with Israel now.
By that logic, why aren't you a Doctor who treats people for free?
Because doctors at best can remove tumor. Rest of an actual healing is on the mind and body of patient and on the spirit of patient if all these Neville Goddard esque people ARE correct and everyone Does had God level powers just too unsure of themeselves to use them. (I myself experienced when I manifested my dream gf so I am not sure they are completely wrong)
hopefully by then we will have found ways to replicate their powers in others.
Same reason the guy who discovered Aspirin didn't demand that he be the only man to ever be allowed to administer it
If all you've got is healing, then flaunting it like that is just begging to be kidnapped by some shady group who wants to monopolize your healing ability.
Dr Fate wouldn’t be. He once ressurected everyone on the entire planet in less than 10 seconds
The hero doesn’t have to do everything themselves either, teach a man to fish and shit, help others to get powers
Self-healing is a common superpower but the power to heal others is pretty rare. All examples I can think of are sorcerers and in those cases there is always "a price" or conditions must be specific.
A better question for your mindset is why don't all the super-geniuses just find cures for all diseases.
I love Jerry Siegel's and Bernard Baily's The Spectre. Basically means death isn't over and also if you want " The Voice " can put you back on Earth and grant you powers to do whatever the fuck you want really
Same for Spawn but more shitty for Spawn since everyone there is basically evil. Hell or Heaven .

Lmao that's the most retarded thing I have ever read

Lotta racist would rather live with their mental illness
>they

You can say that for a lot of super power people
Lots of reasons.
Because Marvel civilians are retarded. There is that Elixir guy who does that but because he's a MUTANT he only heals the Sex-Men in their orgy island.
What reasons would anyone have to not spend their entire life selflessly working themselves to death at hospitals?
By that logic, why aren't you a Doctor who treats people for free?
>with healing superpowers
A better comparison is "why doesn't everyone with an IQ over 90 go into hospital work"?
Being a self absorbed asshole who doesn't want to take their gifts and use them for the betterment of the world based on their own sense of self entitled whimsy. So basically a mutant.
Replace "turning into dinosaurs" with whatever's appropriate, whether it's running a coffee shop or skinning babies.
God's will is those people suffer for their sins.

Because they’ll turn their adoptive sisters into a meat construct to rape and then later turn into an interdimensional mad empress.
what happens when the person with the healing powers decides he doesn't want to do it anymore

Pretty much addressed in Worm and The Mink.
They try, and are stretched too thin trying to help everyone, and burn out.

Elixer can do it. But as stated. Elixer=mutant and mutant=asshole
