Its creator thinks she can write deep introspective characters.
Also shes a female coomer who just wants to make all her creations buttfrick eachother.

I want to see another episode 3 with combining gore, lewdness and nightmare fuel. The show did a good job doing that but does not actually keep doing what made it engaging.

Season 1 Episodes 2 and 3 were great. The best thus far in my opinion.

5 was the other good episode, 6 and 7 had awful writing but awesome animation. It did get me kind of hard watching Loona and Millie slaughter people but it was undercut by the MIB being so hideously inept that it wasn't funny

More episode 6 then 7. Most of 6's writing was making me cringe so hard I felt my spine crunch.

I respect this but you have to protect your work integrity.

i sometimes wonder, why not make a actual soap opera cartoon already??
people love this shit, womens love it, just do it already

Because animation is hard to make. A soap opera has around 1000 episodes 40 minutes each. It will take forever to animate something like that. I can only think of Japan pulling that off well.

not even, any anime that goes on for that long is plagued with pacing issues and serious declines in animation quality

Maybe Viv will give us an actual spin off of the soap opera Stolas was watching on TV in episode 7.

    Character building.
I know this is the board where people jerk each other off over literal pre-school shows like Bluey and Elinor, but one-dimensional characters with no lore are boring.

are you fricking implying that this garbage isnt one dimensional?

Did you miss the very first episode?
Not talking the pilot, the Loo Loo Land episode. It basically ended with Octavia and Stolas drama. That should have told you the direction the show was going.

The pilot and episode one (the one with the demon teacher) gave off the impression that it's gonna be just a one dimensional comedy like Famil Guy or The Simpsons. The Loo Loo Land episode was the one where the show started getting deep.

Even Loo Loo Land was "THAT DEEP" it had elements of drama in it because why not.

It was implied that Stolas and Blitz had sex many times, not just the once.

I think the pilot version of Stolas was the best only because it implied that he sort of owned Blitz well enough to hold him hostage. It wasn't until "OZZIE’S" were the change to a dramatic musical and their relationship was very apparent.

Some people might've preferred the series stay a wacky episodic thing because Hazbin Hotel is gonna be the dramatic musical show in hell. I'm totally not into that.

Helluva Boss can be really fun when it's a wacky cynical comedy about awful people, the over the top edginess is cringy but in a fun way. It's so bad when it's trying to be sincere though. Whenever Stolas and Blitzo's sappy yaoi melodrama gets the focus the cringe becomes unbearable.

I wish there will be an episode where everyone's names are Buritzo, Mokushi, Miri, Sutorasu, Roona and Fizzarori.

Is Stolas' VA British? That one is definitely the fakest British accent I've ever heard.
