Supposedly Mera is only in it for like 20 minutes but WB are still considering recasting (Emilia Clarke is the name being thrown around most) since Heard has done such a good job of torching her image in the last 18 months.
Considering WB dropped Cavil just for asking for a bigger paycheck, there's no sane world in which they don't recast her. Unfortunately, Heard is apparently burning her remaining cash on the mother of all PR campaigns to do everything short of actually stamp her feet and complain the trial wasn't fair because she didn't win.
