You homosexuals keep posting that they praise Kenobi but their latest video is a whole hour shitting on it. The highest praise is that "it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years" because the bar is set so fricking low. I hate you far more than you pretend to hate them.

No they don't, they say the sequels were shit and the only decent piece of media that nu-wars has made is the Mandalorian season 1. It's almost like you're making up shit about them because you're assblasted they didn't like your cg lightsaber fests
>It's almost like you're making up shit about them because you're assblasted they didn't like your cg lightsaber fests
That's exactly what 90% of RLM hate on this board is
It is, and any time you criticize the prequels in any way they'll autistically bring up Mike as if he was the one who started the backlash. In reality people thought the prequels were decent at best, it's only zoomers and manchild millennials who grew up with the toys and merchandize who think they were regarded as masterpieces upon release.
No one mentioned the prequels until you brought them up sperg

Not at all, I added on the idea that Mike lives in your heads rent free, which he does. You're the one who felt the need to reply and go "durr, no one was talking about the prequels" like the fedora tipping redditor you are.

The prequels vs sequels debate is moronic anyway, it's apples and oranges. They're both terrible in their own ways, but the important thing is I would never sit down and rewatch either one, debating which series is worse is such a waste of time. Although if I was forced at gunpoint to watch either series again I'd pick the sequels

bottom line is the prequels are better than the sequels, and anyone suggesting disney and the shitty movies and tv shows they produced is somehow an improvement over the george lucas era of lucasfilm, is a fricking homosexual with terrible taste, and is enabling disney to further pump out garbage which is degrading the franchise even more. disney fricking killed the franchise, the directing, writing, music have all consistently been god awful in disney's star wars. all the classic characters have been deconstructed and destroyed, the entire legacy and story of the ot has been destroyed by the sequels, boba fett was suddenly was no longer a badass, now he's randomly a righteous fichter for justice and fairness who relies on an asian woman to be his muscle, obi wan was made into a useless, passive, incompetent twat who failed in the one fricking mission he had by not protecting luke, relying on a trash character like reva to show him mercy. prequels did no where near this kind of damage, the prequels actually had a coherent story, a vision, a through line for the trilogy, characters with flaws and arcs, a quality soundtrack. none of this was in anything disney has made. rlm are fricking morons who thought jj abrams could make great star wars movies.

Again, you already had a ton of shots in the original cuts that show off the crowds in Tatooine. As far as "world-building" goes, there's a ton of that especially in the Cantina scene.

Unironically, the franchise was already destroyed by the prequels when they started making the sequels.
The Force Awakens was so bland and uncreative because it didn't know what Star Wars is anymore, they decided to just copy A New Hope and not touch on anything else. Then TLJ tried to reconcile the two series and that's what totally fricked up the franchise for good.
The whole plotline of Luke turning on the Jedi in TLJ is obviously an idea borrowed from the prequels, it's ironic how people will defend the prequels by saying the Jedi being a moronic bureaucracy was the point and yet get mad when TLJ continues that concept with Luke. Then you have stuff like the entire casino subplot which feels exactly like something you'd find in the prequels.

>Unironically, the franchise was already destroyed by the prequels when they started making the sequels.
It clearly wasn't and that's hysteria from purity-spiraling OT hyperfans.
To directly address your latter points, Darth Vader turning on the Jedi was an idea from the OT and makes absolutely zero sense. The casino scene was only like the Prequels in the superficial sense of showing the wealthy segment of galactic society. It was the exact opposite of them in theme, because the Prequels took a nuanced approach to galactic politics that left morons bored and angry, while TLJ made a lazy twitter-tier commentary on muh rich people muh animals and muh slavery that was insultingly simplistic.
The purists will say the franchise was destroyed by the Prequels, but the fandom, the EU and the merchandise sales stayed healthy during and after the Prequels. This is not the case for the Disney content.
The Prequels were attacked for ruining the character of Darth Vader by showing a shitty origin for him and his downfall, and for ruining Jedi by overexposure and demystification and showing them to be rigid monastics. but the Sequels completely shit on the legacies and achievements of all the OT characters, nor origins or context, outright ruining what they had achieved, ruining the outcome of the OT. The Prequel portrayal of the Jedi, if anything, enhanced Luke's decision to forge a new path in Jedi instead of trying to win by brute force.
The Special Editions had a few jarring instances of primitive CGI pasted over the original scenes and Lucasfilm refused to release the unedited versions... but neither does Disney, and the effects in the new shows and movies suck ass too, outside of maybe Mando.
People like this are homosexuals and their judgement is not to be trusted. Bu this was clear a long time ago, anybody who thinks "The People v. George Lucas" is anything but a display of human dysfunction is a moronic zealot

I wish they had made on for RoS, the plinkett reviews aren't meant to be educational videos on how bad the Star Wars movies are, it's about revelling in the disaster. The TLJ review is so much better than TFA because there's so much more shit to make fun of.
But maybe you're right, RoS is such an obvious trainwreck that there isn't so much fun pulling it apart, TLJ at least had some good ideas that are executed terribly and has so much logical inconsistency.

They pointed out the obvious flaws though, especially Rich who didn't enjoy it that much. The movies that followed up is what detracted from TFA even more
rich and jay were both lukewarm/critical of TFA on release, mike liked it but later backtracked. i guess after obsessing over the prequels so much he was relieved it was 'decent'.
>"Please ignore the fact they constantly countersignal or minimize any negativity towards NuWars on the macro level
Jesus Christ, how do you people live with yourselves?
Take that as a compliment of the prequels. The sequels are so bad that it would be redundant to shit on them. Its like making a video review about how feces tastes bad.
>The highest praise is that "it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years"
the irony is if they were past actually giving a shit about the franchise then they would at least be able to admit that episode 3 is pretty enjoyable to watch in a semi mocking way
they're not past it, and at the same time they say they're totally over the franchise their seething is still there underneath, making their reviews stupid and incoherent
that's why nobody has ever any problems with the trek reviews even though it's an equally fricked franchise
>The highest praise is that "it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years" because the bar is set so fricking low.
God I simultaneously want to kill you and RedditletterMedia now. Your opinions are absolute garbage.
just because the prequels had too much cgi and green screen doesn't mean you should praise something that looked like it had the production budget of a show put on for a child's birthday party. also i'll take the green screen over that cheap as giant projection screen they've been using since the mandalorian, because that looks like low res shit.
>The highest praise is that "it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years"
RLM cucks do not want labeled as altright/russianbots/geeks+gamers/nerdrotic types so they will cover their ass by saying how much they liked every Disney content release.
Yeah exactly, they have been on an ironic shitposting kick for a while now. Better than being the cookie cutter "hater". It was a classic setup with Jay playing the straight man to Abbot/Costello or Laurel/Hardy. I thought it was funny.
>The highest praise is that "it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years"
That's the exact problem. They have such a pointlessly large hateboner for the Prequels they can't fricking admit what we have now is worse. They're so high on their own shit they idea that Kenobi is anywhere near the prequels in terms of quality is moronic. And the prequels are already bad as it, everything Since Disney has been worse.
>The highest praise is that "it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years"
Which is moronic. It's worse than the sequels. It's worse than the mandalolrememberLuke? It's worse than book of boba fett. It's the worst thing Disney has done since strongarming George into selling.
>You homosexuals keep posting that they praise Kenobi but their latest video is a whole hour shitting on it. The highest praise is that "it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years" because the bar is set so fricking low. I hate you far more than you pretend to hate them.
Well there was some ok parts but let's be honest swars has always been shit learn to read between the lines
You now remember the time when Jay was weighing his options on staying with RLM or venturing off into the whole Hollywood movie reviewer scene by appearing on ScreenJunkies
I'd love to kick Jay Bauman in the head. Just take a few steps run up then catch him with the full force of my steel capped toe under his chin, send that little homosexual flying through the air.
As he lies on the floor, coughing and wheezing and chocking on his own blood, his jaw a mangled mess of bones detached from the rest of his skull, I stand over him and laugh wickedly. He looks up at me in fear and pain, his eyes searching, begging me for mercy. He finds none. I raise my boot then stomp down, splitting his skull like a melon and finally ending his pathetic life
I'm actually shocked that Mike called George Lucas a visionary. In that old HITB about the Lucas documentary he basically said Lucas was a hack who never made anything good.
His original take on Lucas in the prequel reviews always shit me, I think Lucas truly was a visionary when he made the original Star Wars, he just lost the plot by the time he made the prequels and was too self-absorbed in himself and the going ons of the time (deciding to make a shitty Bush/ Iraq analogy in a series which was originally meant to be a timeless fairy tale/ WW2 story).
He liked to point to some of his dumber ideas like making Han a gilled alien originally but I think it's pretty common for a lot of directors to need a bit of a third perspective in their work, you can see a lot of them tend to get worse later in their careers as they hold greater creative authority in their works and have the power and clout to ignore others as much.
I think Mike has softened on Lucas over time, which is good, he'll sometimes mention in the sequel reviews how Lucas actually did some things better, or quote him from around the 80s when he was doing the OT.
Lucas is overall pretty smart and has great ideas. If you listen to him talk and what direction he takes it's really good. But he's not a one-man army.
I think if he spent time with a couple of writers and they worked together the prequels could have been just as good as OT
I don't think that's true. He always received tons of criticism constantly, it got to him over the years.
You'd need balls of steel to handle all the pressure
His gut is distended and extends below his waist, and he pulls his pants up over it to hide it. It kind of works if he's standing, but not when he's sitting. He's got the same physique as Big Tex from Hansen vs Predator
They’ve actually gone too far this time. Yes I’m an autist. But their dishonestly, their blatant lying, it’s made my blood boil. I genuinely hate them after this. How dare you stare at me and lie. That’s what I want. The little “I’m an apathetic alcoholic!” Act to just fade away under threat of death, under my wrath, and for him to finally be fricking honest for once in his tiny pathetic life. Tears in his eyes as he realises this is what it came to to admit his pathetic online legacy was a farce. I’d fricking beat the frick out of him for everything he did. Im literally in tears writing this the thought is so cathartic. Id just pummel and pummel screaming at him for what he did, for keeping up the fricking lie. And bloodied and broken he’d admit it, he’d admit the prequels were good, he fricking would. I’d lay down in the exhaustion, emotionally drained, we would cry and embrace. The wound would be healed. But he would have to be harmed to the point of destruction fist. And id frick up jay merely for his smug pseudo intellectual manner, his boring insistence on obscure horror shit nobody cares about. I’d wail about how he isn’t interesting, insightful or clever as I smashed his fricking ribs with a hammer, how wrong he had got life, how desperately wrong he has perceived it all in his nihilistic little box. And rich would get possibly the most honest beating, the beating of a man who simply needs to be beaten

Is he moronic? You'd think that after watching so many old B-movies he would be able to tell difference between cheap movies.
Star Wars budged 11 million, at the time most expensive movie was Cleopatra 31 million
At the moment the most expensive film is Pirates of the Caribean 4 with 378 million budget, so it is like saying any movie with 134 million budget is cheap.
If I'm not mistaken at the time, New Hope was the most expensive sci-fi movie, and was expected to flop hard.

>Are they just trying to pad the video for time because of the youtube algorithm?
I didn't watch these videos, but their Picard review definitely was just filler. Seems like they keep fricking up on how to split the episodes into reviews.
It's hilarious seeing them double down on "prequels bad!!" because Mike fricked up all those years ago. Such a joke that they'd shill for this shit when all three of the prequel movies are infinitely more watchable, enjoyable, and have aged with grace over the years. This show will be forgotten in a month and hopefully RLM will too.
>all three of the prequel movies are infinitely more watchable, enjoyable, and have aged with grace over the years.
They became frighteningly relevant over the years, too.
The popularity of The Clone Wars and other prequel related media contributed sigificantly to the rehabilitation of their components, if not the films themselves.
that's a fair point, i've only seen a bit of The Clone Wars but they do flesh out the characters somewhat. and the somewhat flat characterisation of the prequels which were character-driven was one of the main issues i had with them.
I make the point not to disagree with you but just to add another bit of context that is often missed. Well-received supplementary material surrounding the prequels is a big part of why "prequels bad, but they had some good ideas" is a fairly common sentiment these days. And it seems unlikely the sequels will get a similar treatment any time soon.
without having seen much of clone wars or any other supplementary material, i got the impression this was the case. because it's one thing to watch the prequels and say "these aren't an absolutely irredeemable pile of shit" and quite another thing to say "these are actually good". for the most part i can only imagine people arriving at the latter conclusion if they've been influenced by the supplementary material to fill in the many gaps in character development and plot points in the prequels.

even mr plinkett had such shallow takes, they had to talk about star wars in the most general sense. the other two people next to mr plinkett are always garbage, not sure what people even see in them
Their hatred of the prequels, right or not, has totally consumed them. All they needed to admit was that NuWars is worse. But because they are so consumed by the seethe they had to lie to themselves and others. That's why everyone is now disgusted by them.

You may not like it but this is what peak performance looks like
You homosexuals keep posting that they praise Kenobi but their latest video is a whole hour shitting on it. The highest praise is that "it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years" because the bar is set so fricking low. I hate you far more than you pretend to hate them.
>it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years
cringe
This board always makes shit up about them loving the sequels because they're still so eternally buttblasted at their prequel reviews
>I loved it
Mike Stoklasa
They were the reason I saw Force Awakens. They praised that movie up and down. Why do you memory hole this?
>"Please ignore the fact they constantly countersignal or minimize any negativity towards NuWars on the macro level, they have a few pithy comments saying it's stupid! (But not bad enough to warrant any reaction beyond evasive Gen-X indifference, that would make you a chud!)"
What in the frick are you even talking about?
Based moron
>ignore the fact they constantly countersignal or minimize any negativity towards NuWars on the macro level
We're talking about star wars, in a thread about video talking about a show that takes place between the prequels and the original trilogy. Frick off
Nice deflection. Go to the rlm reddit if you need a safe space to bash on 20 year old movies
Deflection of what you moronic zoomie? We all know you obsess over these homosexuals because they talked shit about daddy lucas almost 13 years ago. Reddit would also be a better space for you considering they love the prequels
Huh, its almost like you're making up shit about people who are living rent free in your head because you're assblasted that people have different opinions than you. I would also hardly call an rlm video spam thread a place of “discussion” since the only thing you did is just agree with someone with the exact same opinion as you.
>its almost like you're making up shit about people who are living rent free in your head because you're assblasted that people have different opinions than you
Why else would you still be talking about and posting them? Why are you in this thread at all?
>I would also hardly call an rlm video spam thread a place of “discussion” since the only thing you did is just agree with someone with the exact same opinion as you.
Not at all, I added on the idea that Mike lives in your heads rent free, which he does. You're the one who felt the need to reply and go "durr, no one was talking about the prequels" like the fedora tipping redditor you are.
>Why else would you still be talking about and posting them?
Because I’m responding to you? And the topic of the thread is actually
>Because I’m responding to you?
Your first response to me was crying about how I mentioned the prequels
>And the topic of the thread is actually
What the frick is that shit? (OP)
Yes it's a RLM thread, where you prequel zoomers endlessly obsess and seethe over the opinions of these middle aged men
>Called you a bad name is me crying
Lol okay
Gen xer is just having a bad day, which is why he's grumpy.
>I-I totally wasn't seething at your reply because you brought up the prequels!!
I'm 24
Yes I wasn’t, I called you one bad name and you’re still seething like a gen xer caring about movies you watched in your diapers.
>I called you one bad name and you’re still seething
Weren't you the one saying I was deflecting earlier? Because this right here is deflecting.
You felt the need to reply because I brought up your cg lightsaber shows, already demonstrating that you were seething.
My issues with the prequels aren't really tied to the OT either, the prequels are just not good movies by themselves.
>My issues with the prequels aren't really tied to the OT either, the prequels are just not good movies by themselves.
The prequels vs sequels debate is moronic anyway, it's apples and oranges. They're both terrible in their own ways, but the important thing is I would never sit down and rewatch either one, debating which series is worse is such a waste of time.
Although if I was forced at gunpoint to watch either series again I'd pick the sequels
bottom line is the prequels are better than the sequels, and anyone suggesting disney and the shitty movies and tv shows they produced is somehow an improvement over the george lucas era of lucasfilm, is a fricking homosexual with terrible taste, and is enabling disney to further pump out garbage which is degrading the franchise even more. disney fricking killed the franchise, the directing, writing, music have all consistently been god awful in disney's star wars. all the classic characters have been deconstructed and destroyed, the entire legacy and story of the ot has been destroyed by the sequels, boba fett was suddenly was no longer a badass, now he's randomly a righteous fichter for justice and fairness who relies on an asian woman to be his muscle, obi wan was made into a useless, passive, incompetent twat who failed in the one fricking mission he had by not protecting luke, relying on a trash character like reva to show him mercy. prequels did no where near this kind of damage, the prequels actually had a coherent story, a vision, a through line for the trilogy, characters with flaws and arcs, a quality soundtrack. none of this was in anything disney has made. rlm are fricking morons who thought jj abrams could make great star wars movies.
>disney fricking killed the franchise
Nah, the release of the Special Editions did.
they clearly didn't, but they are shit compared to the originals.
It was the beginning of the end when Lucas displayed that he'd do anything to shit on the OT and shove in stuff relating to the Prequels.
Imagine if Disney decided to add in scenes and things that connect shit to the Sequels.
>It was the beginning of the end when Lucas displayed that he'd do anything to shit on the OT
Except he didn't. Rick Worley blew you ass (unironically) a few months ago with his comparison video about the myth that the Special Editions ruining anything.
>Rick Worley blew you ass (unironically) a few months ago with his comparison video about the myth that the Special Editions ruining anything.
I don't even know who this homosexual is ESL-kun.
If you really think that adding in shit like pic related somehow "enhances" the film then you have a mental disorder.
Rick Worley is a famous homosexual who regularly blows (away) prequel hating fricks like you.
I don't care.
Also your pic:
>beautiful establishing shots
It looks like shit and is blatantly out of place just like all of the pointless segments that Lucas decided to add in, like the Max Rebo band in RotJ.
>beautiful establishing shots are actually ugly
peak brain rot
>obvious cg shots
>beautiful
Tatooine already had a ton of world building in the original cuts, all those new shots do is add CG slapstick to keep small children entertained
No, Tatooine was pretty empty prior to the additions. George added crowds in certain scenes but gave it back during establishing shots. Autistics don't understand give and take.
>Autistics don't understand give and take.
It's pronounced autists, anon.
Again, you already had a ton of shots in the original cuts that show off the crowds in Tatooine. As far as "world-building" goes, there's a ton of that especially in the Cantina scene.
The CG droids and creatures look completely out of place in a film made in 1977.
>Tatooine was pretty empty
it was a planet on the edge of the galaxy, it was supposed to be empty like some wild west frontier town.
Can't argue with you there about the Max Rebo band in RotJ. I'm okay with almost everything else, but this shit is so goofy and takes you out of the movie
i don't care for establishing shots. i want the film as it was originally published, bad effects and all, except cleaned up a little perhaps. there's a few changes that i would even argue improve the movie but i don't care. i want the despecialized edition.
cinemaphile after my own heart
look up The Silver Screen Edition
I have it, it's pretty good. some questionable coloration but easily the most solid version of ANH.
reminder that not one single RLMgay has EVER refuted this pasta
>rlm are fricking morons who thought jj abrams could make great star wars movies.
Don't ever let them live this down. ever.
>prequels did no where near this kind of damage
>Unironically, the franchise was already destroyed by the prequels when they started
based moron
They were though, there's so much fricked up shit in them.
You can't even have a romance involving a Jedi now because apparently that leads to the dark side.
>they decided to just copy A New Hope
it's been their feminist dream to remake the OT, just like they are feminizing the MCU. They threw out all of Lucas's scripts and notes and then proceeded to rape the IP, FWIW.

So you felt the need to reply like that other guy, cool cool
"it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years" is an obvious underhanded comment about how bad the prequels are
Yes, which that guy brought up
Yes, he was pointing out the only "praise" Mike gives is that Kenobi is better than the prequels, which you started reeing about
Where’s this reeing I thought we were having a discussion
>Where’s this reeing
right here
Making up shit about RLM supposedly supporting the sequels/ nuwars when they don't.
I mean he didn't say they supported it but sure.
>Please ignore the fact they constantly countersignal or minimize any negativity towards NuWars on the macro level
What do you think he's implying here?
That they generally threw softball criticisms at the disney movies (besides rogue one) and didn't bash them as much as other people
I think their criticisms are actually very accurate, what do you think they missed or where did they go too soft?
I'm just answering what you thought I thought he said.
He made an entire Plinkett video criticizing TLJ though. They didn't need to make one for the RoS because everyone knows the issues with that flick.
As terrible as the show is, yeah it certainly is better, and makes more coherent sense than the Prequels.
>Obi-Wan overpowers Vader and lets him live, doesn't even capture him
>Reva's entire character being "if you kill your friends, you win"
>the Organas not winding up in Star Guantanamo
To say nothing of the plot-dictated fluctuations in force capabilities, ship transit times, ship firepower, and character intelligence. Whether it's better or worse than the prequels, you can't honestly think it's more coherent.
Once again, it's not really a testament to how good Kenobi is, it's a terrible show, but it's still better and makes more sense than the prequels, which are EXTREMELY terrible pieces of commercialized nonsense.
There is nothing uniquely commercialized about the prequels, you dumb RLMdrסne. The OT got the same treatment with toys. God I want to strangle you.
>I understood it better because it appealed to my NPC sensibilities and low intelligence, thus its better than the prequels
Imagine being this low IQ. No wonder you get your opinions from YouTube videos.
fricking moron
Lucas won
Yeah they unironically think the prequels are popular and that the Plinkett reviews are what changed peoples' minds about them
They liked 7 until they realized how moronic it was from other content creators (who they constantly shit on) and back tracked
They pointed out the obvious flaws though, especially Rich who didn't enjoy it that much. The movies that followed up is what detracted from TFA even more
I've only watched the Plinkett review for 7 and Mike clearly doesn't like it
rich and jay were both lukewarm/critical of TFA on release, mike liked it but later backtracked. i guess after obsessing over the prequels so much he was relieved it was 'decent'.
Mike is the only one who counts, though.
prequels were and still are unsurmountedly terrible especially as a followup. Seethe and cope about it, zoomllennial.
Shut the frick up
I'll strangle your ungrateful ass too.
>prequels
>followup
this is how OTards think
When you pick the brain of people that says this, every time it becomes clear that they are Empire fanboys that barely even liked the original movie
>"Please ignore the fact they constantly countersignal or minimize any negativity towards NuWars on the macro level
Jesus Christ, how do you people live with yourselves?

Holy based
>They hated him for speaking the truth
Or at least the one prequelhater zoomie who kept samegayging himself earlier
This man (female) speaks the truth
Take that as a compliment of the prequels. The sequels are so bad that it would be redundant to shit on them. Its like making a video review about how feces tastes bad.
>countersignal or minimize any negativity towards NuWars on the macro level
Mandalorian is objectively better. Did they not like it?
>The highest praise is that "it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years"
the irony is if they were past actually giving a shit about the franchise then they would at least be able to admit that episode 3 is pretty enjoyable to watch in a semi mocking way
they're not past it, and at the same time they say they're totally over the franchise their seething is still there underneath, making their reviews stupid and incoherent
that's why nobody has ever any problems with the trek reviews even though it's an equally fricked franchise
None of the episodes are enjoyable to watch.
This anon is charismatic as hell in this post
>The highest praise is that "it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years" because the bar is set so fricking low.
God I simultaneously want to kill you and RedditletterMedia now. Your opinions are absolute garbage.
it’s probably the worst star wars piece of media ever made in terms of production value.
Yes, they mention this multiple times. People don't want to see hundreds of CGI models flipping around with lightsabers like a video game.
just because the prequels had too much cgi and green screen doesn't mean you should praise something that looked like it had the production budget of a show put on for a child's birthday party. also i'll take the green screen over that cheap as giant projection screen they've been using since the mandalorian, because that looks like low res shit.
That doesn't excuse the sets, cinematography, costumes/makeup, and lighting being markedly worse than A New Hope
People don't want to see grown men be unable to catch up to a runaway toddler
Prequelzoomers are a cancer
and that is a fricking rancid statement
Cute kitty!! Can I save this ? :3
>The highest praise is that "it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years"
RLM cucks do not want labeled as altright/russianbots/geeks+gamers/nerdrotic types so they will cover their ass by saying how much they liked every Disney content release.
that camera work was pretty cool though
I too am blind
>but their latest video is a whole hour shitting on it.
>it's super-okay!
ok zoomer
And the prequels are already bad as it, everything Since Disney has been worse.
there's a reason you missed by one it's because your opinions are shit, zoom zoom
They loved TFA lol, RLMgays really hate that people don’t unanimously suck their balls anymore
>they loved TFA
there are plenty of valid reasons to criticise RLM, groping a strawman is not the way
Mike Fricklasa LOVED TFA.
The man is shameless.
i'll admit i was surprised mike sucked TFA's dick initially, he's supposed to be the sceptical one especially with store wharfs
This is the dumb face he made while saying he loved the force awakened. I'll never let him live it down.
nothing out of disney in the last ten years is better than the worst prequel
The comics are pretty good, and the last season of Clone Wars was as well. It doesn't matter if it was written pre-buyout still falls under Disney.
>It doesn't matter if it was written pre-buyout
It really does
>The highest praise is that "it's the best Star Wars production in almost 35 years"
Which is moronic.

It would be so easy to beat up Jay IRL.

Funniest thing I've ever seen posted
I'd love to kick Jay Bauman in the head. Just take a few steps run up then catch him with the full force of my steel capped toe under his chin, send that little homosexual flying through the air.
As he lies on the floor, coughing and wheezing and chocking on his own blood, his jaw a mangled mess of bones detached from the rest of his skull, I stand over him and laugh wickedly. He looks up at me in fear and pain, his eyes searching, begging me for mercy. He finds none. I raise my boot then stomp down, splitting his skull like a melon and finally ending his pathetic life

HIS NAME WAS RICHARD EVANS
He swallowed the red head chick I think.
>they like it
Wow
I think if he spent time with a couple of writers and they worked together the prequels could have been just as good as OT
the issue is lucas can't tolerate any sort of criticism or disagreement.
I don't think that's true. He always received tons of criticism constantly, it got to him over the years.
You'd need balls of steel to handle all the pressure
Neither can RLM lol, look at their video about Wonder woman 2 where they get pissy over people calling them out for not paying attention to the movie
He walked back on a lot of the shit fans told him about. Almost everything except Jar Jar. He trolled everyone with Jar Jar.

I know where their studio is. It would be like a 5 hour drive but it would be worth it just to see mikes lying little face crumpled and ruined after I fricking best it to a pulp with a baseball bat, fricking begging on his knees pissing himself and admitting that the sequels were a fricking disaster, than JJ sucks, that he was fricking wrong and the whole endeavour has been a soulless hollow piece of shit worse than the prequels. And rich would get possibly the most honest beating, the beating of a man who simply needs to be beaten
you laugh but this is the best rich has looked in a decade.

This moronic homosexual seriously considers basic consistency irrelevant now?
Am I meant to know who this is?
"we dont need to criticize obiwan... Its so quirky"
what did they mean by this?
to be fair to these idiots, imdb isn't always 100% accurate in number of episodes a season has before it airs
>JAY: They use lightsabers because it was introduced in a cheap sci-fi movie from the 70s
Prequels bad because Lucas! Obi Wan okay because no Lucas!
I can't take these disney shill frauds seriously.

I didn't watch these videos, but their Picard review definitely was just filler. Seems like they keep fricking up on how to split the episodes into reviews.
>What the frick is that shit?
It's called A REAL MAN, you fricking zoomer.
They became frighteningly relevant over the years, too.
the prequels being arguably better than the sequel trilogy is more due to how shit the latter was though
Star Wars is fricking stupid /end
i live in the midwest and every guy aged 30 to 60 dresses like this
George Lucas creates a series basedboys talk about for 50 years.
Basedboys: George Lucas doesn't know what he's doing.
You're kidding yourself if you don't think 90% of Cinemaphile looks just like this
More like 90% of their audience. Have you ever read the comments under their videos? Y I K E S
I'm an adult and I watch the clone wars
we should really limit the ability of morons to call themselves adults.
>I'm an adult and I watch the star wars
dragon ball isn't any better
I can smell you through my monitor, take a shower
You poor, poor simpleton.
There is nothing more disgusting than a fat person who loses weight but does zero strength training
>FBI's official investigation just concluded
>Successful DNA match of Jay, with what they found at the crime scene
It's over. Bauman got too careless with this one. This is the end of RLM.
Cant wait for the EFAP response
>NUOH NUOH NUOOOOOOH
>I liked it (Kenobi)
>It's an enjoyable watch
>great fights
>best SW content since Empire Strikes back
>for some reason they start shit on OT in the middle of the review
>Luke and Leia are le bad because they are from Lucas movies
RLM are Disney shills
nah, they are just anti prequel jannies and do it for free
>no top gun
>no well received Adam Sandler movie
>2 episodes for obi wan and before dr strange marathoned and loved all holland spider man movies
They really are
>admitting Sandler is more talented than they are
kek they are too stubborn
Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a disney movie too
that is an exception because its a really good movie before disney went all gay homosexuals Black person dick sucking
It's still a Disney plus ad. And Jay recommends to watch Chip 'n Dale in the video.
as a comparative piece it should work and thats how they got the idea to do the re:view. he should've rec'd Happy! (2017) though. Thats closer in spirit
They spent an assload of time talking about Roger Rabbit but never even mentioned Richard fricking Williams, thinking like he was just some lacky to Zemekis and not half the creative input of the movie. Hoo boy was I mad at these pseuds.
This was him in March of this year
what went wrong
baggy sweater
Picard
>there are people on this board that dress like this and wonder why they cant get a gf
>thinking it’s about his generic white guy outfit and not his goblinesque figure that makes him look awful
Kek
Even their own people are turning back on becaus of this egregious shit. Look into the comments.
>Look into the comments.
How about you post some? All the top comments are just about Star Wars.
onions nerdcrew
It was great it was everything I wanted it to be
chad drinker
It was shite
King Gut: Mr Jiggle style
>PoC actor comes up in a conversion
>Mike: oh, oh, I loved one of his movie, great actor
Is it an American thing?
I hear it from Canadians the most, but they're mostly just aspiring American liberals
Idk more and more europoors cope with their growing black populations by pretending it’s only american blacks that are bad
This. We have like 0,1% black population and we still have to talk about them
>everyone making fun of his gut
>no one mentions that horrific hairline
Because balding literally doesn’t matter
If you ar ebuff manly and handsome, yeah
It doesn’t matter tho
>t. hairlet
It literally doesn’t matter lol
>using pictures of bald men to justify unshaven receding hairlines
lol, lmao even
I like Jack Nicholson, but I don’t think any man on earth would want that or riches hair
It does if you're too pathetic to hurry up and shave it all off. A receding hairline, especially one as bad as Rich's, is the mark of a coward. Just embrace it and shave it all off.
Bald can be fine, balding no
>they say only good things about Reva
What did they mean by this?
The character isn't even functional, let alone good. She's less functional than Anakin in the prequels because at least you can describe Anakin's character and actions without flatly contradicting yourself
>George Lucas is responsible, not the modern era
Confirmed Disney shills lol. Good thing I don't take these clowns seriously and just come to shitpost about them.
Give him a break, he gave birth twice
>take patreon money
>go watch Kenobi on D+
>go watch Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Chip 'n Dale on D+ right now
>remember to watch Kenobi on D+
>take more patreon money
>makes more money than RLM ever has on a single movie
>it's a "Cinemaphile is going to seethe for several weeks because of a youtube video" episode
how do they do it so consistently?
>makes RLM seethe by existing and making more money than they ever will while on vacation with his bros
Haha
>Obi wan thinking of Leia is creepy
What did he mean by this?
>LUKE DIDNT JUST KILL EVERYONE AS THE FINALE TO HIS CHARACTER ARC!!! THIS IS RELIGIOUS INDOCTRINATION!!!! HOW FRICKING DARE HE LIVE BY THE JEDI CODE!!!!!!!! THATS CREEPY!!!!! NOT MURDERING PEOPLE AT THE BEHEST OF AN OLD EVIL LIGHTNING MAN IS CREEPY AF!!!
Rich is too big brained for rlm.
I wonder if he also disliked Obi-Wan letting himself get killed by Vader. That was clearly some kind of christcuck messaging done by Lucas.
Why did those clowns even like the OT? Did they all grow up on Star Wars without realizing that even the OT was schlock made for children?
>gaytheist thinks rich is big brained
rich is exactly what people like you come across as to everyone I guess, but big brained isn’t the word I would use
Rich is a moron and the more time has passed, the more obvious it is that those Plinkett reviews were actually his.
sorry, I forgot I was on Cinemaphile and thought that this would be obvious sarcasm for non-autists if you consider the context of my post... My bad.
>using sarcasm with people you don't know
you're the autist, anon
no he’s correct, i’m the guy he replied to and i’m stupid for not seeing that
Rich is by far the most unintelligent member of RLM.
>Why did those clowns even like the OT? Did they all grow up on Star Wars without realizing that even the OT was schlock made for children?
pretty obviously, yes
The cat zoomer who kept calling others zoomers kept samegayging himself to defend his precious friend simulator
Wisdom
even mr plinkett had such shallow takes, they had to talk about star wars in the most general sense. the other two people next to mr plinkett are always garbage, not sure what people even see in them
Their hatred of the prequels, right or not, has totally consumed them. All they needed to admit was that NuWars is worse. But because they are so consumed by the seethe they had to lie to themselves and others. That's why everyone is now disgusted by them.
I couldn't care less about what anyone likes or hates, and lets face it the entire Star Wars franchise is fecal matter, but there's nothing worse than liars and shills.
I really enjoyed Jay glossing over Luke literally igniting his lightsaber over a sleeping child (and his nephew) as "a brief moment"
He didn't succeed so it's all good bro!
They've officially gone full moron.
Their careers were made from the prequel reviews, but now their careers are being destroyed because of their incessant defense of star wars sequels. It's quiet poetic.
>the sequels are actually the worst
>the prequels weren't actually that bad u guise!
the age of this board is really starting to show. the sequels were absolutely garbage but you can't that the prequels weren't parody-level bad. If you defend the prequels you were born in 95 or after, making you an absolute child.
*can't pretend that
excuse me, i've had too many Bantha Blasters
>the OT is a film for adults
I don't give a shit that you're a boomer/xer but at least try to grow up and stop being a manchild.
Rlm and people like you constantly complain about the prequels while treating the OT for something that it just wasn't.
Star Wars is and always was kiddie shit and peopl4 like you pretend that the prequels "ruined" it because you don't want to admit that you like kiddie shit and can't grow up.
It's okay to be nostalgic for something but maybe it's time to just accept that time has moved on and the 80s (and your childhood) are a long gone, "oldgay".
I never said it was a film for adults you fricking sperg, I was implying that it was a way better made film series than both the sequel trilogy and the prequel trilogy. But the prequels are especially shitty, it's fricking embarrassing to the medium to bad they are.
you people have some kind of religious devotion to the old movies if you think the prequels are near-blasphemous like this
absolutely moronic
I'd rather watch any one of the prequels than the disney slop. Mando S1 is the only thing there not worse than the prequels
>The age of this board is really starting to show
>but you can't that the prequels weren't parody-level bad
Yes, we can write properly.
