>And some ugly-looking sex at that.
I can understand all the reasons why you'd think that and would agree with you with probably most of your criticisms but I feel like the sex is probably some of the most consistently wholesome drawn sex despite being goofy most of the time. A lot of shit out there is erotic but it's practically acrobatic or takes from porn, which is pretty much acrobatic.
Don't get me wrong, the shit is awful but it has an honesty and enthusiasm about it that you really don't get from people with more artistic talent.
Hence Savage Dragon just being a pure fetish sex comic now.
>still a chief officer of the company he started >basically just gets to write and draw whatever the frick he wants >has a fan base that's most chill about it
I don't know about you, but that's living the fricking dream to me.
Yeah, I agree. I’m not into the comic, but Larsen seems to be enjoying himself.
Nobody in this thread reads comics anyway, anon. They’re just here for the outrage.
Did they read it in the first place? Not shitposting, legit question.
Because, I never felt the character was popular or even relevant, unlike spawn or hellboy at the time.
Never have I seen someone say they liked savage dragon but I guess somebody had to buy it

I like 1-100. They tell a more less complete story and his art is at its peak.
I've read the current run up until 245 or so. It's not really to my taste. If nothing else, I loathe legacy characters.
The original miniseries was popular enough that he's still living off it thirty years later.
I went and read most of the 90's and early 2000s Savage Dragon, since Kirkman claimed it was a big influence on Invincible, a comic I was really into back in the day.
It got so fricking convoluted with the alternative reality shit, not to mention Larsen's art going complete dogshit (while his writing was mostly always shit), I've had to opt out from regularly reading sometime before the real Dragon actually dies and Malcolm takes over.
It used to be somewhat fun with all the cameos and Image Universe shit tie-ins, but form what little I see from it lately that ain't even a thing nowadays.
I could never really get into Invincible because it was too much like Dragon, but without Dragon.

It had Dragon for like an issue. Such a shame the animated series won't even include the other Kirkman characters, let alone the Image heroes like Dragon as guests.
>This never would have happened if she was vaccinated >Pages that age like Milk
Also, complete lack of a respirator when 99% of all deaths happened due to breathing issues shows Erik Larsen knew frick all about the actual virus OR the vaccine.
If the Fauci shot is so effective why are they worried about the unvaxxed? They still can't answer this. JUST TAKE IT OKAY???
god she is a fricking moron, this is one of those moments where the person should be thanking god they have big breasts.because they certanly are not contributing to society.
I know comics always represent politics and social issues of the time they got released, but this, this is ridiculous, like tinfoil hat ridiculous.
How is this part of a comic about a superhero? Gosh, every American comic In current times just became the writers mouthpieces of polítical and social babbling?
Funny how, heroes trying to do good and defeating super villains is not the main focus anymore.
Imagine this page in an animated format. The pain.

I thought she was literally dead before, sis she got revived like every superhero in existance?
I don't read savage dragon, but I heard the original savage dragon died and this one is his sex crazy son. Is it true?
There is an alternate universe where Peter actually died of radiation poisoning because of the spider bite. Is a lame idea to put in a comic, true, but it actually happened.
Imagine having so little respect for your work, characters or fans that you would willing throw one of your characters away to make a shitty political point.
I *completely* get how this numbskull ruined his Supreme run now.
>You didn't do research you just listened to what you wanted to hear >Meanwhile I literally trust a rushed vaccine that had no long term effect studies done that all early testing shows did little more that mitigate some symptoms.
>killing a comic character as a xhud to own chuds
this will never stop being hilarious, it would be like arresting Piccolo for instigating the jan 6th insurrection
Technically, the government trying to experiment and kill its citizens with a fake vaccine is EXACTLY the kind of bullshit that would happen in Savage Dragon's world, so it's not like she's completely off base thinking this.
Hell, I'm pretty sure Lex Luthor and an Iron Man villain essentially did that.

Erik Larsen when crazy a while ago.
Hence Savage Dragon just being a pure fetish sex comic now.
Yet he wanted to censor ant, the bastard
I think the sex has slowed. I’m behind a bit, but last I looked shit was just weird.
1-100 rock, though.
That was a shock when I checked it out hearing it was still running. And some ugly-looking sex at that.

The part that makes me happy is that no one even cared to notice. That is the extent of karma you could wish for in this case.

Does anyone read Savage Dragon anymore?
Did they read it in the first place? Not shitposting, legit question.
Because, I never felt the character was popular or even relevant, unlike spawn or hellboy at the time.
Yes, back in the 90s people talked about it, and I'm talking about post-crash.
Harlan Ellison said it was a guilty pleasure for him

>he took the clot shot
Shannon Brandt did nothing wrong.
homie I ain't readin' all that

the mesage makes sense just this shit writer puts way to much stuff in one page.
I'm more usted about all those bubbles of text. Gosh, is not like I'm too lazy to try to read, but is all about pacing. This is the contrary of that.
>literally 4 drawings in this page
>look at all those speech bubbles
I guess bendis is writing for savage dragon now
she didn't make it guys
>This never would have happened if she was vaccinated
>Pages that age like Milk
Also, complete lack of a respirator when 99% of all deaths happened due to breathing issues shows Erik Larsen knew frick all about the actual virus OR the vaccine.
Look at the OP image again, she was on a respirator, they removed it after she died.
I thought she was literally dead before, sis she got revived like every superhero in existance?
I don't read savage dragon, but I heard the original savage dragon died and this one is his sex crazy son. Is it true?
No the original died but the cast went to a different reality where one was still alive
What's the point of being super if you're as vulnerable to disease as everyone else? That would be like Superman dying of cancer or some shit
There is an alternate universe where Peter actually died of radiation poisoning because of the spider bite. Is a lame idea to put in a comic, true, but it actually happened.
What happened to all his villains? Did electro get killed instead too? Did Osborn get schizophrenia / committed?
Read. More. Comics.
>even advanced cosmic Black folk can't cure cancer in the Marvel universe
why though
That's not even the worst case of such bullshit. Remember when the finest minds of Marvel universe couldn't heal a bullet wound?
Sauce on this art?
Death of Captain Marvel, written and drawn by Jim Starlin.
Wouldn't cancerous cells be just as invulnerable as the rest of the Superman?
>"superheroes are supposed to die saving the world - - not from some virus"
What psychopath wrote this? Or is that doctor supposed to have problems?
Imagine having so little respect for your work, characters or fans that you would willing throw one of your characters away to make a shitty political point.

who would even read all that?
i read the first balloon.....and i was like...frick it, does anyone know how to write comics anymore, because its not supposed to be like that.
GODDAMNIT STOP BOLDING RANDOM WORDS

Hell, I'm pretty sure Lex Luthor and an Iron Man villain essentially did that.
Reminder that magik died from the legacy virus
Chinks and Derangement took away our spikey lizard waifu
I think Erik Larsen wishes he were black.
Like Bendis
>It’s 2022 and people are still crying about vaccines and calling anyone who supports them crazy
If the Fauci shot is so effective why are they worried about the unvaxxed? They still can't answer this. JUST TAKE IT OKAY???
No vaccine is 100% effective. Also unvaxxed people infecting each other and their kids is no bueno.
If the concern is that the vaccination makes you moronic or autistic or whatever, then why are YOU worried?
>Also vaxxed people infecting each other and their kids is no bueno.
Fixed.
It certainly is, but fortunately it's much, much rarer.

at this point I think Larsen just wants to beat Dave Sim's record and do more than 300 issues.
Tf happened to Hunter x Hunter?
Since Malcolm banged his step-sister, I’ve been waiting for when he bangs his half sister in the OP PoC.
