Slave desperately seeking the approval of her slave master while knowing deep down she's desposable. She has the life experience and emotional maturity of a 10 year old but has to hide it with a stoic facade and pretend to not care. The conditioning was progressively loosening over the course of the film. In a short time she would have completely broken free like K. If anything, she's a tragic figure.
The character and acting was quite literally too subtle for most critics who didn't see the tragedy in Luv.
>I'm the best one
That is, the best Replicant and the best combat unit. She had a love-rivalry with K the entire film. Beating K would show she's the best of the best, and receive love (heh) from her slave master.
It was the only part of 2049 that touched on some of the subjects of the original. What happens when you create a lifeform that is born into maturity, but lack life experience and emotional regulation of a mature person?
She behaves off for the same reason Roy Batty acted like a weirdo.
They are children.
Her, Leto, and the chick that played the female cop boss with penis envy were absolutely terrible in that film. "More human than human...." was the motto of the Tyrell corporation, and all the replicants in Blade Runner had a warmth and humanity to them that was lacking with the "Love" replicant. She played that shit way too bland and robotic.
She was cute. CUTE!
Why was her cat never mentioned or acknowledged by the other characters?
luv Luv
simple as
She was unluvd.
i want her to stomp on my wiener with her boots
I almost cried at this scene. Tfw your hologram gf gets "killed".
Dumb b***h wasn't real. She was just following her programming to please her master. There was no internal thoughts going on just a facsimile.
t. Luv
She's as real as the other guy.
One could argue while programmed she was sentient as in her "feelings" were real. It's an interesting thought to have.
She was real to him, that's what counts.
She was a real human bean!
>Edgelord has to shit on an opinion just because
it's all so tiresome
Ya ever heard of the cloud? Backup files?
Why? That would hurt a lot
I'd rather hold her hand in the park, spoon in bed, or something like that.
she was too perfect for this world.
She was in love with K, but was confused about it due to her loyalty to Wallace.

I could have fixed her.

A severe lack of brutal dickings.
That's what 90% of the film's problems could've been solved with, along with making the three-wheeled cars four-wheeled.
>named Love
>is a massive b***h
Bravo, Vanillavenue!
Damn she's hot. One of the rare cases where that stupid pony haircut actually looks great.
