They're still addicts, that's why they can't shut up about it. I've met sober alcoholics that always bring up how they were drunk all the time and the exact day they stopped drinking. The worst type of sober people are the ones who become religious though. Born again christians are the worst.
Because a lot of people that are sober are still generally unhappy. They were unhappy when they were addicts, and thought sobrety would help, which it probably does to some degree. But now they have this emptiness/boredom from living a sober life, and it's kind of a let down. So they have to constantly reaffirm themselves that they made the right choice, which they did.
tl;dr: Sobriety is boring and it's how they cope
I mean yeah. living a lifestyle like Steve-o isn't going to take you anywhere. But sobriety to his addict brain is probably torture. But again I'd rather be around a sober Steve-o than degenerate addict Steve-o.
Definitely. I have friends who "take a break from drinking for a small bit" only when I ask, still come out, etc. But then there are those who base their entire life on being sober now, and have to recite back their sobriety story anytime drinking comes up, they can't go out, and have this insufferable judgemental mug if the topic is brought up in their vicinity.
He wasn't good at talking while Knoxville and Bam were good at it
Talkers always do better because they can communicate with investors and doers follow them
Sad society because talkers are cowards who underperform and that's why Steve was a thing, he was "savage"
>dress as a ninja turtle in Israel
Funny episode, but yeah steve-o sort of a buzzkill, and couldn't riff with them at all. On another note, The 1975 is playing NYC this week, so maybe return of the goat, aka our boy Matty?
This was the funniest interview they've ever done. Both of them clearly fucking hate Steve-O and spend the entire time just dunking on him while he sits there like an idiot. Making it an episode of the podcast instead of a proper TAFS episode is so fucking funny.
How’s ol’ Mike doing nowadays? Still a borderline personality spaz running his chat like a prison as an attempt at revenge for what he sees as the world betraying him? Still spending 2 hours five times a week rambling everyone’s awful except for him as he snaps and bans people just out of boredom?
I had been a fan since 2006, the show used to be so fun, but he was a maniac and once ‘the takedown’ happened he just turned into a rotten bastard spending 12+ hours a week manipulating the story and telling everyone what to think, and going apeshit nearly doxxing individual chat members for not worshipping him and believing everything he says. It’s not just when people are skeptical either, it’s that he created this really spazzy hypocritical concept of what a ‘cool’, ‘non-snake’ person was and his paranoia over ‘snakes’ became an obsession. To this day his show is basically a two-hour lecture about how perfectly stupid everyone is, as he occasionally explodes on people
I worked with him on a business deal regarding his move to Tennessee and he's a decent dude but his dad is a fucking asshole. He's the quintessential boomer that thinks he knows everything even though he's a complete and total retard (at least on the deal we were working on). The deal fell through and I'm glad it did because his dad had fucked everything up beyond recognition and I really didn't want to stick my neck out due to the liability surrounding "celebrities".
Thanks for reading my blog.
Narcissists really don't like being interrupted or not being the centre of attention
are you talking about adam?
No Stephen
he's old and sober
Why do people that become sober become so fucking annoying about it? I get it's something to be proud of but god damn.
Because they were accustomed to a life on drugs and still enjoy that sense of excitement, they’re just trying to keep that energy going sober

>which they did
did they, though?

You realize some people really can’t touch alcohol without relapsing, right? Have some respect
That's their problem
Most people eventually grow up and shed their adolescent mindset
I liked Steve-O more when he was high and beating himself in the crotch
Nah, when he swallowed the fish and puked it back up. Still alive too, lmao.
Sober ExAddicts are worse than actual addicts. They all act like that
Yeah but they won’t stab you and they’re more likely to do productive work
Are they really
You either die Bam Margera or live long enough to become Steve-O
He’s got the “I’m sober” personality type now that he’s old.
all of these washed up celebrity podcasts are pathetic
he's a poser and a cunt. Bam still is the real king
his entire personality was the crazy party dude so now that he's "sober" it's become an uptight buzz kill
I liked that Adam and Nick had to back eachother up in this awful interview.
>what the hell is wrong with Steve-O
He’s a recovered junkie who has to approach sobriety with same energy he approached drug use in order to keep it
he's a salesman who doesn't want to lose his sponsors now. his assistant warned him that they were going to fuck with him so he was a pussy
I mean, my brother had heroin almost kill him. He's not an insufferable homosexual about it.
But was he a junkie by lifestyle though
He wasn't good at talking while Knoxville and Bam were good at it

I doubt he'll come back on after the previous shitstorm

they should've just had Nick dub his voice
I was thinking about the "Im Steve-o and this is gay sex" line the entire time.
Will you guys quit being such homosexuals about other people literally saving their life?
Why not change addiction for fun shit like Mountain Biking or something? They already have the money if they are doing coke all the time
That’s pretty much what he’s done
He's just a boring shill now
Redbar was right he should be put down

Idk I think his wife moderates the chat now but yea I'm sure his Facebook group is pretty gay

When are they gonna have Bam back on
