Wolfman was a great modernisation of the original movie and somehow they decided to abandon to create capeshit.

Bad marketing. Universal barely marketed dark universe. None of The Mummy trailers even mentioned it. Audience and critics were confused because out of sudden they teased it right in the movie.

Universal only released this one pic few days before the movie came out and called it a day. If they announced it 3 months before and focused on promoting this and on reminding people that this is supposed to be re-imagination of their classic monsters universe from 1940s then it wouldn't be so confusing. I've seen people legitimately thinking this is clone of MCU and being completely unaware that original Universal universe came 70 years ago and they just wanted to re-do it for modern blockbuster standards.

Universal Monsters pioneering monsters blockbusters in 1930s. Movies like Bride of Frankenstein had outstanding sets and The Invisible Man from 1933 had groundbreaking special effects. Universal turned horror books from 1880s into full blown monster blockbusters of their era. Compare Universal Monsters to lets say Hammer films. Hammer films looked cheap and tacky while Universal set new standards for horror films. Monsters ruled horror genre until other cheap producers came up with slashers.

Now Dark Universe wanted to repeat this, to redefine horror books on scale never seen before but unfortunately marketing departament failed. Instead of admiring insane scale monsters experience people were simply confused.

They jumped the gun and thought they could pre-empt a successful franchise. Just look at this fricking shit pic, they were so fricking full of themselves, like they were going to be the next big thing.

Then Tom Cruise had to get involved with an absolutely shit "Mummy" film that completely missed the point of the Mummy, and killed it on delivery.

Cruise wanted to save it. They changed script and cut a lot of nonsense. Cruise was angry they ruined his film with forced setup. He refused to get paid and demanded background contracts for the future. There are rumors that Universal is already updating mummy ride as a part of the deal.

Assuming this isn't just more empty, soulless shitposting of fetish memes, what exactly is it about feet that you degenerates find appealing? All I see are loads of wrinkles, weird bent toes, gross nails, and a naan bread for a sole when I look at a foot, it's mostly repulsive. It's like looking at a moronic hand, and hands are freaky to begin with.

          Feet.

Well, feet and toes have dexterity so they can sort of be used like hands. Something different I guess.

I'm going to make a few assumptions here, then: you probably aren't getting laid (potentially even a virgin), so it would have to be an over-exposure to porn that's fuelling it. Otherwise, why would you need something "different" to hands. And it's not breasts, it's not ass, it's not even stomach, it's all the way to feet. You're in deep.

I’m not a hardcore footgay or anything but I can see why nice, manicured feet can be a sexy extension of nice legs. Don’t think I’d suck on toes or anything though.

                Anonymous

Okay, let's try that, then. Why would anyone like legs?
                >smooth
                >nicely curved, and curves have obvious connotations
                >lots of bare skin
                >end at the top near more blatantly sexual areas
But when we look at feet:
                >veiny
                >wrinkly
                >often weirdly shaped toes
                >nails, these strange plates that keep growing
                >heel is often rough or discoloured
                >moves weird
                >odd bumps and ridges because of underlying tendons and bones
They're like the opposite of a leg.

That’s why I said well manicured feet. Obviously no one likes nasty calluses except total degenerates.

I'm not a foot gay but when you break it down there's nothing logical about a fetish

          Anonymous

Sure there is. Even if it's as simple as some childhood trauma/event, there's a reason. If you can't explain it, it's likely because you haven't tried to figure yourself out. Not just fetishes, but preferences as well.

For example, I love girls with big teeth and dark hair. I do so because I was obsessed with the film Labyrinth when I was a kid. I also love curvy women, thanks to catching a teacher getting changed in her stock room. I also love ambiguous ethnicity because a hot Greek mum of a friend once told me off when I was a teenager, but was bending over while she was shouting in Greek and I could see down her top (probably helps I didn't even know what she was saying). I can work out where in my life my tastes were influenced just by thinking back.

So I can't really buy this whole "dunno, feet" thing.

Men used to gauge a woman's pregnancy status by her feet. Pregnant women had bigger, swollen feet than normal ones. Our ancestors being footgays was the difference between pass on genes or die out.

Bestest Renfield ever coming through. He's clearly the best because no other Renfield would get Dracula out of prison by threatening to call the police. And he was there in like an hour after Dracula hacked the wifi and got a message to his lawyers! That's proper work ethic!
