I remember when everyone was drowning in belts and pouches. But what's the purpose of those bands around her thighs? Her suit is already tighter than a normal person's skin.
AIM has fractured into competing factions under their various leaders (MODOK, Monica Rappacini, Andrew Forson, Unknown leader that's revealed to be Lyle Getz) and have gone full arms race and all the heroes realized it too late. Heroes split up to fight them with Avengers vs Modok, Hulk vs Monica, Thunderbolts or Secret Avengers vs Forson.
Does overhauling one of Marvel's most popular characters count as an event? Because I've always thought Wolverine comics ought to take some cues from the Metal Gear franchise, delivering action-heavy spy-thrillers rife with machivellian conspiracies, tacticool aesthetics, and sprinkles of fantastical bullshit. After all, Wolverine has only been a superhero for about fifteen years — he was a soldier and a spy for over a century. His stories should reflect this. If I had my way, some other changes would include: >The title of Wolverine's ongoing being relaunched as "Weapon X." >Logan making his headquarters his safehouse in Madripoor. They famously have laws against extradition, so if his illegal operations are ever exposed, he'll be able to avoid prosecution. >Logan not only donning his Patch persona again, but completely foregoing the use of the Wolverine codename and costume while on solo missions. >Logan having a small support team consisting of Sage and Forge, who'd provide the intel and equipment for Logan's missions. Remember, he isn't some raging bull. He has years of experience as a soldier, assassin, spy, and mercenary. So instead of blindly charging his enemies, I'd write Logan as someone more tactical. He'd strategize, sneak around, and put his century of experience to use. He'll use weapons such as guns and explosives (although make no mistake, he'd still use his claws plenty). And perhaps most controversially, I'll have him wear armor, because it's stupid that he doesn't already. After all, he might have a healing factor, but injuries are still going to slow him down and impede his combat efficiency.
I'd also try to put a new spin on some of his villains, and even throw some new ones into the mix.
Reading Identity Crisis made me realised how strangely united the league was back then. Compare to now, they don't feel like real characters. I don't know how to explain it, but It's a more interesting and compelling read than any new event DC is doing.
>Everyone is ____
>Universe where [villain] rules the world.
>Hero team vs hero team.
Everyone is a glam rock star
Universe where Stilt-Man rules the world
The Great Lakes Avengers vs The Daydreamers
I just came up with three event ideas that would've been more fun than any event Marvel has done in 10 years
Which isn't hard really but I would read that Glam rock one. Syrin would really shine

>ut what's the purpose of those bands around her thighs?
Adds a bit more color. You're really over thinking this. It just boils down to color balance.
You'd have to really frick with the status quo to start making something remotely good.
Do we even HAVE a status quo anymore? I feel like it's been a long time before we went more than 6 months without everything CHANGING FOREVVAHH!
I don't keep up much with current stuff, but it seems samey to me.
Multiple heroes and villains land on an alien planet or parallel universe and have to win an election to determine the fate of the world or some shit
Do what Sinestro Corps War and Blackest Night did.
What did those do?
Not suck

>What would make a good superhero event comic?
What>
Capeshit ending forever

Villain unleashes a world virus that kills half of the population randomly?
This isn’t some Thanos snap you can just reverse.
