What's a cartoon theory that you still prefer but was debunked by the show itself years ago?

Steven fricking every gem
>he self inserts
>as a fat transsexual israeli crossdresser
Lol
Lmao
when has that been debunked?
suck to be you anon
When the "rose is pink diamond" theory was first made it was crazy but cool idea. Then the show kept insisting she wasn't pink diamond, only to reveal she actually is. It was just a big fumble and felt like it was trying to cover it up real fast because people predicting their big twist so early scared them.
>crazy but cool
No it wasn't it was the first thing everyone assumed and always lame as frick. I was praying the show wouldn't take that route but they did and shat on Rose as hard if not harder than the other diamonds (that battered pink pearl lmao).
"Stevens gem is not a quartz but a diamond sideways" was also groan inducing.
orange cripple horse being an orphan.
>bmo as the operating machine
stupid
Marco from Star VS having Royal blood
Eclipsa being Evil
Marco's arm coming back
I don't remember that much, but the worst was Eclipsa not being evil, coming with "monsters = good", I know they wanted to make an racism allegory, but Eclipsa's husbando admited himself that he ate humans in the PAST. So mewnies were racist as frick, but monsters were also pretty bad? And out of nowhere they whant you to just accept the sudden change oto "actually monsters are normal people and never did nothing wrong, except when they did, but those were things created by racism itself and not a harmful culture"
If I could change it, i would just erase the monsters doing really fricked up stuff or make the characters accept that their ancestors did a lot of bad shit, including monsters, and ecclipsa's husband is punished for his crimes.
YuYu Hakusho did a similar thing to Star Vs, but it felt a lot better. Monsters just got humanized and not sanctified and all the weight of their actions removed, even after the ending with monsters crimes getting lower, the manga implies that those crimes still existing.
Well, i think i'm an austist now for liking a lore heavy disney show made for little girls with no identity, i'm going to get rid of my
extra neurons.
It would have much more weight If the final enemy was Eclipsa and Her husband commanding monsters, make Ecclipsa go for the Sensui rout (with a little less blood because its a kids' show). But the show just dropped the ball.
I liked the SVTFOE fanfiction where Moon and Toffee were secretly dating, got found out, and Comet forbade it because she was a massive anti-monster racist… only for Toffee to slaughter Comet, not realizing how evil an action that is, so “nothing can get between me and you.”
I also liked the fanfiction that Moon would die, forcing River to take over as regent, and he would start an angry dwarf crusade against monsters, which would force Star into an absolutely horrible position between her wanting to reconcile, her personal loss, and her feelings for her father.
I've got to say, this isn't Cinemaphile, but the fans and writers of Life on Mars and the sequel series Ashes to Ashes actually do NOT understand their own "near-death time-travel isekai."
I prefer the theory that Pink Diamond is the true villain, she is suppressing her consciousness and biding time to when she can obliterate Steve's consciousness... Some fricked way to reject her burden as a diamond..
I thought I was sooo right on with my theory when he was losing control near the end just to have some shitty queer hug box dogshit....
Nah. I don't think the Rose that left Steven that tape turning around and being like "Actually this was all my evil plan!" would have worked for me.
This must've been made in like season 1 before it was made clear that the setting of adventure time is dark as hell.
That's just finn's schizophrenia manifesting
way better than the actual ending
You mean before they retconned the setting into oblivion?
I don't think there was a nuclear war in TES4
You mean before they fixed that boring mess and created immortal kino.
>implying the fricking intro isn't already evidence of Ooo being post apocalyptic
You aren't supposed to point that out.
i've always been drawn to the idea of Ed Edd n Eddy taking place in purgatory/hell/whatever, feels much more interesting than the standard "it's all some kid's hallucination" St Elsewhere bullshit(OP embed being a good example).
Those are both awful, overused theories and you should feel both for liking then.
You need to be at least 18 to post here
>pic unrel
but yes it is extremely moronic
I actually like the ed edd n eddy purgatory theory because it means the eds will always be bros and get to live in summer vacation for all eternity.
Well the canon ending is that they're still best friends at like 80 years old so I thought that was nice
Can't belive sentitheory in miraculous ladybug ended up being real. I wanted mom to be in coma because she was once a supervillain, not infertile.
For DuckTales 2017 - I liked the idea that Della Duck would remain shrouded in mystery as a character. All the adult main characters (Beakley, Launchpad, Donald, Scrooge) would have a history with Della in some way and the kids would get pieces of Della's backstory through the adults throughout the show. In the final season, the kids would work together in a big rescue mission with the adults to bring Della back home. Della hugging her boys again would be the big show finale.
Webby was actually a failed clone of Della in an attempt for Scrooge to have her back in some way after she disappeared
Jackie is a mermaid
I admit I bought into it because I desperately hoped they would do something to make her character the least bit interesting, but alas
Dan, you're a cool guy but I don't know why you're so dead set on de-confirming Doofenshmirtz to be Phineas' dad. It makes a ton of sense AND it's really funny!
Evidence that Doof is Phinny's father: Uh... they have vaguely similar head shapes
Evidence that he isn't: Linda and Heinz only went on one date, explicitly before Candace was born, and don't remember each other. Doof once thought Linda was a robot, which would make very little sense if he had actually porked her. Phineas would have to be older than Vanessa for the timeline to add up.
Danny phantom ghosts are actual ghosts and how they died
I liked the idea that Rusty and Monarch were brothers, them being clones of each other does kinda add some interesting psychological thing to their self loathing but the twist they were brothers feels a lot more poetic and I think would have made for better comedy if the show continued
I think everything tying back to Jonas Venture super science clones is much more tonally appropriate for the show.
Like half the stuff people came up with about the Gems in SU and what there society was like.
why would anyone want this theory to be true in the first place? Why can't the fantasy just be real in their world rather than the tired old IT WAS ALL A DREAM trope?
Anne being more of a problem kid with real familly issues. Globally what we thought the girls would be before Marcy's reveal
