Human Centipede 3. It wasn't even the over-the-top gorefest that was the Centipede that sickened me. They really did their best to make the movie as gross as possible. Then they added a piss filter over the whole movie.

How can one man be this moronic. He didn't even pay for the funeral, but he did make sure to bring his daughter as a prop and get snapped by the paps. (His daughter is the same age as the dead gf.)
I used to have Don Bluth animation in my nightmares as a kid. Other than that, I saw The Shining at age 12 by myself and the bear suit scene ruined me for a week or two.

Exactly what I mean. In context, the kid's reaction to the fricked up shit he sees melds well. I never thought it was silly and I still don't because what Cinemaphile tried doing to that film was turning it into a joke by harping on the camera scene. I really like Come and See and it's a shame Cinemaphile decided to try and turn it into a meme. It's incredibly effective.
It was a really good film but Cinemaphile ruined it for me by memeing the climax of the movie endlessly. Couldn't help but to start laughing when he makes that face. Same thing happened with Downfall and the endlessly parodied tantrum scene.

whats that movie that looks like a cronenberg thing where a pivotal scene is this party where everyone is merging parts of their fleshy alien like bodies with each other in a bizarre flesh orgy, its probably the most unpleasant scene that didn't depict something like rape or torture
ive only seen the orgy scene, kinda too scared to watch the whole thing

I'm not sure I'd go as far as to say it disturbed me but Climax (2018) made me extremely uncomfortable. I heard Enter the Void is also really fricked up but I haven't seen it yet.
Alien 3. Saw it in theaters on opening day 1992. Skipped work to go see it with my sister. Sat in the perfect seats...center, had a sweet bag of chips, etc. The opening was like a horrific funeral procession. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
This one horrified me as a kid. It's the uncanny valley and mixing of mediums that does it for me. Like when they put super realistic faces in cartoons or something.
I love horror movies but I think I've become desensitized to them.
Yeah, this one seems to terrify a lot of kids. I think it's because kids struggle with movies that have such differing tones like those one. At times it's heroic action, realistic horror, comedy, tragedy. Adults can get it, kids can't. I think. Maybe kids are super vulnerable to terror out of nowhere. The sudden ray gun deaths seem to trigger it.

Good, someone else feared skeletons. Especially people being reduced to skeletons, which I suspect stems from seeing Terminator 2 young and Sarah's recurring nightmare of nukes. Well Mars Attacks delivered that in spades.
Oddly enough I got over it and watched the film many times as a kid entirely unscared.

I saw Begotten with some friends and I'm still in shock today that I was sorrounded by so many slack-jawed homosexuals for such a long time. Movies can't shock you, adult man. unless you went to war and your unit underperformed then you see explosions and weep. Also gay.
lesser known, but the blunt force cruelty of this movie rots your soul for days afterwards. Daniel Baldwin plays a great scumbag (probably himself), along with his morbidly obese piece of shit construction contractor coworkers.
They just do a great job portraying the type of men who terrified me growing up, still do. Middle aged dudes who muster as thin of a veneer of respectability as they need to in holding trade jobs and having families, but who you know just have ice left in their veins, hold nothing sacred or cherished, and are probably one averted gaze away from sadistically torturing someone like any common killer
Then the main character actually escapes and ALMOST turns things around, but fricks up one thing after another into a rapid downward spiral of doom that makes life all seem like a sick joke from the start. Maybe the cheap production adds to its uncanniness, but I've hardly seen a movie where all characters are crashing towards their hopeless outcomes like this one. We are all at the mercy of whoever is a bigger butthole than ourselves, unless we become the butthole, hence the title
Oh and the disgusting bug-human caterpillar creature in the middle
>the type of men who terrified me growing up, still do. let me guess: you're middle class?
Not that anon, but I've been around the people he's talking about: middle-management types with zero conscience and other garden variety sociopaths. The type of people Joseph Conrad would have called "hollow men". Eyes like an empty room and faces like a vacant planet. They're really unnerving when you come in contact with them, even in passing.
They exist at all echelons of society, too. Not just the middle class.
>Not that anon, but I've been around the people he's talking about: middle-management types
he said "trade jobs". try to keep up. >garden variety sociopaths.
there's no such thing. sociopathy is extremely rare. >They exist at all echelons of society, too. Not just the middle class.
you misunderstood me, unsurprisingly.
I was exposed to poor people and hood dues as a kid. Still am more freaked out by guys who instead of trashing the system altogether, loosely play by the rules that suit them while wearing a sick passive aggressive grin. You're dealing with someone who simply knows how to hide their sociopathy better and probably has secrets you dont want to imagine
the fact that you guys view other people like this says way more about you.

After watching it twice I've concluded that it punches way above its league (The Asylum), and actually has multi layered themes. It's entertaining af if anything and worth a watch for that.
But the key thing I said, what hit me was the core theme of how it points life as a cruel joke, and makes the main character seem doomed from the start. And the cheaper production value and dumb lines they sometimes have him deliver is like mocking him to me, like a fever dream. However if you're the type where lower production value knocks you through the fourth wall it may not hit you like that
whats that movie that looks like a cronenberg thing where a pivotal scene is this party where everyone is merging parts of their fleshy alien like bodies with each other in a bizarre flesh orgy, its probably the most unpleasant scene that didn't depict something like rape or torture
Oldgay here. The original cut of The Velveteen Rabbit was hellish compared to the later-edited releases because it was profoundly disturbing to children.
"Middle management" specifically refers administration. Trade jobs have these, too. Or did you think all trades are freelance professions? They aren't.
>sociopathy is extremely rare.
Sociopathy lies under the blanket of Antisocial personality disorder and according to the CDC its represents about 3.6% of adults in the USA alone. Out of a population of 330 million is the USA that's huge.
I think its you that's out of your depth here.

Oh yeah, and I disliked the movie Butcher Boy when I saw it as a kid. It'd be fairly tame by today's standards, but its depiction of violence done by children is really unnerving.
>I seriously hope you never have to encounter IRL what me and the other anon upthread have been posting about
you haven't encountered shit. you're a bitter middle class wanker.
The opening of midsommar where the crazy sister gassed her entire family to death
The rest of the film was not scary at all and sucked ass, and nobody ever takes about the opening but it makes me shudder every time
Someone that you love has a mental problem but they kill your entire family along with themself, nightmare fuel
Never happens and could never happen. Too complicated of a situation to enact without gassing the entire house with chloroform first, or roofying your whole family which would never work. Whole movie sucks ass. Ari Aster is a Satanic corporate shill
I hate all 3 of Ari Aster’s movies. He’s very good at disturbing people and creating a miserable atmosphere with his movies, but I can’t fricking stand it. It’s just israeli nihilism.
As a kid I was kind of obsessed with Spielberg’s War of the Worlds, probably because it barely had a plot. It was just people getting killed by aliens and trying to survive. The vulnerability of the little girl in the movie probably contributed to my lifelong sensitivity towards women and children too. I watched the movie repeatedly

The only thing that has genuinely disturbed me is the ending of Sleepaway Camp. When that reveal happened, i jumped out of bed and switched the light on because i didnt want to be in the dark with that image on screen.
Something about mutilating a kids corpse does not sit right with me. Usually I can watch anything with no problem, and it was weird being "disturbed" while watching.
This kind of shit that turns me off from watching movies like that. The main character is LE CRAZY which is fine but I’m not gonna sit here and watch him play with children’s corpses as a form of entertainment
American Psycho has obviously been sigma’d to death but I like how the death/killing scenes were done. It was either implied or obscured but still gripping and the stakes stayed high despite the amount of deaths
the uncut version is really hard to stomach
there are scenes showing an actual mass murder, lots of real killed animals and legit military warfare
basically snuff
That Russians movie Stalker. It felt like I was watching myself watch the movie from outside my body especially during the scene where the stalker initially decides to leave his drabby apartment and stalk
>Warriors of the Rainbow
It's framed like your average "Noble Savage" cryfest that extolls the evils of colonialism, this time at the hands of the Imperial Japanese. However, the Tribe it centers around is so backwards, twisted, and evil, that it had me rooting for the Japanese to slaughter them all, and hopefully end the cycle of cannibalistic murder-rape once and for all. My favorite scene, is the mass suicide. That when the Japanese started to get a foothold in their territory, the men drove all the women, children, and elderly off a cliff...in the hopes that their flesh and bones could be preserved for the men who survived, all to the tune of triumphant, heroic music.
Probably Eraserhead.
Watched it alone on television when I was a kid and found it incredibly disturbing nightmare fuel. Never watched it again because it's just too weird for my tastes and my wife probably wouldn't enjoy it either.
Hoo boy, that was some hard watching. Did you notice how they put the gratuitous boobs at the very beginning so the movie could go full-on body horror after that?
Yeah this is fricked up, but I admire the guy's effort to turn his favorite gore porn manga into a feature length cartoon all by himself over like ten years

I saw Begotten with some friends and I'm still in shock today that I was sorrounded by so many slack-jawed homosexuals for such a long time. Movies can't shock you, adult man. unless you went to war and your unit underperformed then you see explosions and weep. Also gay.

nothing rly scares me, ssris rly fricked me up, i try to watch scary things but i just end up disgusted
>rly
you are underaged
It wasn't so much the movie itself as much as the reviews praising it for being something elevated
Does it deliver the pig fricking?
combat shock
Not anymore but at the time this scene traumatized me
christina applegate
I recently watched this one and it got me, and usually don't enjoy gory movies . Good horror
the scene with the little girl and the dog sticks out to me, that was brutal
lesser known, but the blunt force cruelty of this movie rots your soul for days afterwards.
Oh and the disgusting bug-human caterpillar creature in the middle
bonus point for a cameo from the office space guy
>the type of men who terrified me growing up, still do. let me guess: you're middle class?
Not just the middle class.
you misunderstood me, unsurprisingly.
the fact that you guys view other people like this says way more about you.
I was exposed to poor people and hood dues as a kid. Still am more freaked out by guys who instead of trashing the system altogether, loosely play by the rules that suit them while wearing a sick passive aggressive grin. You're dealing with someone who simply knows how to hide their sociopathy better and probably has secrets you dont want to imagine
this is one of those
>vhs cover at blockbuster
movies for me that i've never seen
is it actually good or do you just like that it's bleak?
After watching it twice I've concluded that it punches way above its league (The Asylum), and actually has multi layered themes. It's entertaining af if anything and worth a watch for that.
But the key thing I said, what hit me was the core theme of how it points life as a cruel joke, and makes the main character seem doomed from the start. And the cheaper production value and dumb lines they sometimes have him deliver is like mocking him to me, like a fever dream. However if you're the type where lower production value knocks you through the fourth wall it may not hit you like that
whats that movie that looks like a cronenberg thing where a pivotal scene is this party where everyone is merging parts of their fleshy alien like bodies with each other in a bizarre flesh orgy, its probably the most unpleasant scene that didn't depict something like rape or torture
anti christ with willem dafoe and some crazy cooze that slices her clit off. just wrong.
I'm sorry to tell you that the world is not all normies, anon. Unfortunately, criminality is more common than you think.
I seriously hope you never have to encounter IRL what me and the other anon upthread have been posting about.
Shit would rock your world.
Oh yeah, and I disliked the movie Butcher Boy when I saw it as a kid. It'd be fairly tame by today's standards, but its depiction of violence done by children is really unnerving.
>I seriously hope you never have to encounter IRL what me and the other anon upthread have been posting about
you haven't encountered shit. you're a bitter middle class wanker.
>wanker
Well, bong, that explains the handwaving of objective, cynical aspects of reality
t. NTA
And the weird classist obsession
The opening of midsommar where the crazy sister gassed her entire family to death
The rest of the film was not scary at all and sucked ass, and nobody ever takes about the opening but it makes me shudder every time
Someone that you love has a mental problem but they kill your entire family along with themself, nightmare fuel
Never happens and could never happen. Too complicated of a situation to enact without gassing the entire house with chloroform first, or roofying your whole family which would never work. Whole movie sucks ass. Ari Aster is a Satanic corporate shill
> Never happens and could never happen.
the rest of your post is true though
>The opening of midsommar where the crazy sister gassed her entire family to death
This
Best part of the movie
Actually I talk about it and share the same veiw although I liked it and am not
traumatized
it was really well done
Yeah it stood out
I hate all 3 of Ari Aster’s movies.
I watched the movie repeatedly
>the little girl in the movie probably contributed to my lifelong sensitivity towards women and children too
Uhh...
vulgar by kevin smith was fricked the frick up
my wife made me turn it off and i had to wait till she fell asleep to finish it
good wrap up though
brutal shit
The gimp scene from Pulp Fiction made me feel horrible
>Green Mile
I watched it at 8yo.
The close up executions made me terrified of electricity
Ricky's Battle Shock (2009)
The original faces of death, had to watch it with my mom when she was going to school to be a nurse and they recommended it to get you used to seeing people in bad states.
Particularly the one with the guy pinned under the train only being kept alive by the wheel pinching him closed untill they move it.

Antichrist
I know it's le reddit babbies first blah blah blah
it's not even the genital mutilations stuff that gets to me
It's how it's such an honest view of women. Always remember, killing their own children is LITERALLY the #1 political interest of women. It is THE MOST important thing to them
If a woman would get a bit wetter or come a bit harder by killing your kid then she would
Great take

Stir of Echoes, I was only nine.
>Spamming trannies over capeshit and Star Wars
Kek, so I'm the troony for refusing to talk about capeshit and Star Wars? At least I can go one second without thinking about muh kid shit. You won't put a fight though, you'll post another greentext troony image with a smug expression on your fat face and then run away like you always do. I won this chain without even trying.

What is that picture from?
Nothing yet
The only thing that has genuinely disturbed me is the ending of Sleepaway Camp. When that reveal happened, i jumped out of bed and switched the light on because i didnt want to be in the dark with that image on screen.
I was enjoying the campiness and then that happened and legit perturbed me.
Nothing special I guess, but I found the fire extinguisher scene in Irreversible to be really something else

Under the skin
Salo
the uncut version is really hard to stomach
there are scenes showing an actual mass murder, lots of real killed animals and legit military warfare
basically snuff
Watching Being John Malkovich disturbed me as a kid. Especially the ending.
Return to Oz's good characters were disturbing as all frick
I wouldn't say "disturbed" but The Florida Project was pretty grotesque in that white/Hispanic trash in Florida apparently actually live that way.
Watched it two days ago and I still feel weird.
just go for it sister. a year or two of HRT works miracles.
did it make you forget to dilate?
A zed and two noughts
Dead ringers original
The holy mountain
Probably Eraserhead.
Watched it alone on television when I was a kid and found it incredibly disturbing nightmare fuel. Never watched it again because it's just too weird for my tastes and my wife probably wouldn't enjoy it either.
Unironically Hausu, if you watch it in a certain mindset it's terrifying
The Ruins. The one with the pulling of vines from under the skin and other similar squick.
Hoo boy, that was some hard watching. Did you notice how they put the gratuitous boobs at the very beginning so the movie could go full-on body horror after that?
How do the gratuitous boobs allow body horror?
Yeah this is fricked up, but I admire the guy's effort to turn his favorite gore porn manga into a feature length cartoon all by himself over like ten years
>What's a film that genuinely disturbed you?
>THE ZAPRUDER FOOTAGE
I can't believe the usmarine sniper didn't put one into Jackie's face as he was told.
Mother! was one of the few that got me. The way it keeps getting tenser and weirder without seemingly stopping as it goes on,only for that climax to top it off. Bleak stuff.
Cargo 200. But was laughing my ass off at the same time because it's a black comedy.
