Absolutely miscast in that, and the movie was generally pretty shit too. It just appeared to me like he was enjoying hamming it up as Sid. Denzel gave a typically good Denzel performance.

I've warmed up to Virtuosity through the years, it's just a typical cheesy sci fi movie, what makes it feel so weird is the fact that you have two colossal actors starring in what feels like a cartoon. Also I love that both Russell and Denzel would co-star years later in one of the best movies in their respective careers, it's a cute little detail.

Unironically loved this. Crowe was the scariest thriller villain I’ve seen in a long time. Hope he loses that weight though, my man was lookin GIRTHY.
The girth worked for that role. He should embrace it, looking like quite a unit.
