Birdman. It deconstructs it to the point it's shown as nothing more than fiction, the past of an actor known only for playing a superhero.

Its a shame she died. After his wife left him, he could've gone and had sex with Boltie without feeling guilty.

I don't understand how people could like Kick-Ass, shit was so fricking garbage compared to the comic and Super which was 100x better.
It's a shame that it's no longer gushy.

To be honest I don't get why people like Super. The designs kill it. Kickass and Defendor understood making your heroes' costumes out of readily available stuff. Not much drive in Super either. Can barely remember what it was about. Some guy was fricking his wife or something? Liked the soundtrack though.

Man I can't decide if the comic is decent or if JRJR just tried to fit as much childish edge and breasts as possible. The duality of man I suppose
God damn those last few pages of KA3 are kino as frick though

Shame what he did with the Hit-Girl series and that horrible follow-up.
I get what he was trying to do in Vol. 4 with the 'anybody can use the mask' shit, but man it was executed so poorly. Same about the Secret Service sequels.

Hit Girl works as a foil to Dave giving her her own series was 100% fanservice. I read the first issue of the reboot when it came out and just never followed up, like you said I get the idea but having your first legacy be an explicit criminal rubbed me wrong, especially since I liked Dave generally and he was nowhere to be seen afaik. It's been forever since I read it though

Everyone sleeps on this episode. But Booster Gold from Justice League Unlimited is one the best episodes. Really shows how minor heroes can't really catch a break next to the original 7 in the Justice League
