>The series follows Lieutenant Commander James Reece (Chris Pratt) after his platoon of Navy SEALs are ambushed while on a covert mission. Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. As new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life but the lives of those he loves.
what the frick are the "dark forces"?
there is no synposis i can find that delves deeper into this, what the frick. is it gay science fiction, is it government traitors, pedos, what
Its pretty unrealistic if that bothers you and there are a lot of scenes where the main character is imagining things but if that doesnt bother you its actually pretty good especially compared to most of the other shit coming out these days
>Its pretty unrealistic if that bothers you
nah it's just the whole boomer worship of the military + the "heroic soldier who has been let down/undermined/betrayed by the powers that be" thing has been done to death.
Honestly the most direct comparison I can make is to the Shooter film with Mark Wahlberg. The one man army thing has been done a lot. It's not a bad genre but the show doesn't really do anything to keep it fresh aside from the hallucinations.
>HOO RA I'm never leaving a man behind! >I'm holding a log on this beach, with my fellow MARINES OOOORA and we're never letting go because we're AMERICAN military BROSKIS! >I'm clearing my corners and tilting my gun every which way cuz I'm an AMERICAN MILITARY MAN and that's the super cool thing to do! >CHK CHK look at my cool hardware, oh you think my best buddy would use a 9mm gun? HA that's where you're wrong BUDDY, he liked that other type of gun so he'd DEFINITELY never ever suicide himself with his less preferred gun!
Why are american males so cringe?
is that really a plot point? Chris Pratt uncovers the truth to the whole conspiracy because his buddy killed himself with a 9mm? I guess that's fine if they explicitly set up that his buddy was a caliber-queen and would never even own a 9mm. But if his buddy had a "favorite" gun, it's likely being a military man his buddy would own many guns; who knows which gun his buddy would use for suicide. I don't think my friends know which tool I would prefer to use for suicide, that's not really buddy talk. but i'll tell you all here that I would pay a high end escort to do choking play with me using her thighs but I would take my nerve pain medicine first that interferes with my breathing and also have her wriite down a safeword on a piece of paper that I wont read
I didn't really get why he kills everyone on that island tho. Up to this point they always go some lengths to avoid killing anyone not on the list, even people directly working for the "bad guy". But here he kills people who where just hired to protect an elected official.
navy seals are the most corrupt fricked up group of dudes in the military. theyre like a operator branch of the CIA selling drugs and doming anyone they want. The idea that a navy seal is going to come back from a mission and hunt down corruption is pure propaganda
It's written by a conservative ex navy seal
The books shit on liberals and democrats all the time, they removed that from the show but i'm sure the people reviewing it know exactly what the intentions and message behind the show is
Overthrowing government officials and portraying crazy conspiracy theories and validating the belies of right wing christian navy seals is a no no, specially after muh insurrection
The problem isn't the critics, its the audience. I long ago realized that the critics get it right far more than the audience does. Remember half the audience literally have double digit IQs.
pratt will never be arnold no matter how much he wishes he could be
his career literally took off because he recognized rae dawn chong at the bubba gump restaurant he was working at and got connections through her
>Watching first few episodes, pretty decent, much better than what reviews say >Easily above average operator kino >Protagonist is basically Jason Bourne but mixed with the Navy SEAL copypasta >Puts together pretty cool, realistic heist-like plans to efficiently single out his enemies and capture/kill them with the help of his spook brother, sneaking past their security, finding the locations of their safehouses etc. >5-6 episodes in >mfw he iterally detonates an IED in the middle of a busy downtown street and then begins a mass shooting
how the frick did they get away with this
Critics are homosexualS. Biggest homosexualS in existence.
They see a nice piece of chocolate cake >IT"S A PIECE OF SHIT !!!!!!!!!
They see a bucket of diarrhea, with blood and vomit >IT"S FOOD OF GODS!!!!!!!! WE WILL EAT IT!!!!!

literally evil corporations experimenting on soldiers
im on episode 6 and its decent, these critics are gays
Pretty much corrupt goverment officials and corporations
Also the reason why it doesnt exactly explain who these dark forces are is because its kind of a spoiler
Jews, as always.
Corporations and billionaires cooperating with the government to frick over the people of the US
why arent there any navy seals actually doing this now?
in fairness, it does sound shit

it's 2022, everything has been done to death.
Not dark and alphabetic enough
>American flag on my hat!
Non-whites throwing a tantrum again.
It's not a great show by any means but it's not worse than a 5/10. The performances are just ok. Always down for some operator kino though.
>Always down for some operator kino though.
meh
theyre homosexuals
outside hollywood ecosystem, so must attack and destroy.

It actually is a plot point, the show is beyond stupid. But look at the target audience, money for jam.
He's literally me

>And Achmed killed another of his sisters before fricking his fathers goat
