People have lives and can't spend hours watching shit so they watch these recaps and pretend like they enjoy kino. Next time someone goes oh you know about that Italian movie called white zombie they can do a basic summary of it and act like they watched it long ago and are kino enjoyers.
Most people don't care about movies, they just want to be "in" enough to talk about it. Also zoomers can't watch anything, those aderall frickers can barely listen to more than 10sec of a song, imagine watching a 2 hour movie.
This they are so busy trying to be part of everything they watch cliff notes versions of everything so they don't suffer the dreaded "fear of missing out"

The Australian guy's videos are about literally starting to make stuff out of nothing, with his bare hands, from sticks to bricks to fricking refined iron. Nah he's not. He just sits in the living room watching these videos on his phone. He also watches YouTube channels where people simulate WWE wrestling matches. I'm not really friends with the guy I just live in the same house as him because rent is cheap.

We've all watched a movie that was best just seen in chunks. Marvel movies would be perfect for this type of format as nothing happens except for the big fight at the end or dumbass cameos. Only thing preventing those videos is copyright.
