I don't know like 50 bucks, never paid that much for comics, most my stuff is used, most expensive comic I own however (stole it from my step brother who just had bunch of old comics in a stack)
Idk why but the first (and second even) appearance of omega red blew up recently so that’s one of my higher price joints but I got both for like cover price or a dollar more.
Batman vol3 issue 89 (I wish I could just say Batman 89) does well for the punchline appearance because apparently nobody cares about
I also have The Last Ronin all 5 and apparently the first issue especially is a hot toddy lately.
I got first TMNT hc signed by both Eastman and Laird. I think it's from 88 or 89, something like that. No dust cover, but I've bought it for like 250 $ on today money.
I dunno, it's not even Cinemaphile it's Cinemaphile, for 150 Euros.

Spending money on escapism is not a flex.
Nobody said it was.
I can never afford a house might as well spend money on things that make me happy
I got those big Taschen Marvel and DC books when they came out, I think RRP was about $200 each but I'm sure I didn't pay that much.
I've got a big Hellboy in Hell artist's edition that was over £100 I think.
I spent 600 dollars on all 171 issues of the second Swamp Thing series. It was great reading the letter columns of Moore's Swamp Thing.
But that was Freshman year of high school, I haven't spent nearly that much money on comics ever since.
