>No! This can't be happening- I'm in charge here!
Checks all the boxes, yup
"Do you feel in charge?"
I never understood why this is such a memeable moment people clown on his character for
What do you want him to say?
>NO NO NO PLEASE SUKUNA I'M GONNA SHIT MY PANTS I'M SO SCARED AHHHHHH
if nothing else you want your protagonist to at least be confident in their own abilities, even if they end up losing
your gay twink in a trash story with mid animation is goyslop of the highest order
Your manly chad in a timeless story with god-tier animation is peak fiction of the highest order.
I only read it but thanks
>Your manly chad in a timeless story with god-tier animation is peak fiction of the highest order.
I really should stop using this site. There's no point anymore. What is this? What are these words? God, I'm tired.
I got it right away.
I know what he's saying but it's all so embarassing to read, it makes my skin crawl. That conjuction of words and the juvenile sense of faux-grandiosity from them makes me want to rip my eyes out from embarassment for having my eyes defiled from reading it.
Filtered.
Isn’t it just a cool arrogant statement people like because it was designed to have impact and to surprise us with how accurate his arrogance is?
The original joke was about the "incorrect" translation of Japanese. Character says "I will win" but the translator decided to give it a little personal touch and put some tiktok slang in it. The change is so little it should not be cared about, but redditors went batshit insane about it. Then the kids came and didn't understand the joke at all so everyone started making up their own versions what this joke is about.
>translator decided to give it a little personal touch and put some tiktok slang in it
he repeated verbatim his response to yuji's question whether or not he could beat full power sukuna from the beginning of the series. that's what the translator was going for.
He didn't change it recklessly, he just repeated his original answer from the beginning of the series.
>put some tiktok slang in it.
How is the word "nah" tiktok slang?
if anything, the panel is what introduced the overusage of the word with lobotomy kaisen edits on tiktok
>damn son you got served
>You sure you want to fight him Oberyn? The guy put all of hiis points on STR
>Nah I'd win, DEX> STR, Spear > swor-ACK
I mean, he pretty much won but wasn't willing to finish the fight.
>he was winning until he lost therefore he won
holy cope
If he didn’t grandstand his victory and dealt the finishing blow right then and there he wouldn’t have died. Did you even watch the fight you absolute homosexual?
translate this for someone that wasn't born after 2006 and doesn't care about shonenslop
He says Nah he'd win but he ends up losing.
Dragon Ball Z the father of shonenslop did this 30 years ago with Vegeta on television
Yes, it's entertaining to watch regardless.
What's the actual translation? I'm sure that's something the troonylators made up
No, it's pretty accurate.
>strongest of the past revives
>strongest of the current day says he can beat him
>fight finally happens after years of buildup
>strongest of the past wins
More like
>hyped up mentor character says he can win against big bad
>dies
The memeable part is how he lost
>oh gojo is going to win!
>cut to airport
>now he's been cleaved in half
that's just gege and his le subverting shonen bullshit
>subvert
>mentor dies
>let's make the mc related to the final boss and give him a bunch of powerups so he can beat him
He's playing it way too straight while wasting everyone's time.
that's true, the
>yuji is actually sukuna's lost twin
thing is absolute nonsense
he's just trying to speedrun the end of the manga, though I can't imagine why
huge hit series don't exactly grow on trees
>though I can't imagine why
You can just see the art and the breaks he takes.
He's obviously done with it and just wants to finish it, but not before all his """"characters""""" have shown their powers.
Truly the next kubo.
Imagine Obi-Wan being hyped up as the greatest Jedi, destroying every single sith he comes across effortlessly. Then he finally faces Vader and Vader is somewhat depicted as being weaker than him. During the fight Obi-Wan jobs to Vader by some bullshit force power the director pulled out his ass in the last second.
That's the JJK plotline
>destroying every single sith he comes across effortlessly
No Gojo, he killed what? Hanami and then he was boxed for half the series?
looks like any shonen shit plot whenever the "guy that is too strong" appears
The biggest sin this anime commits is having a Black person in it
It’s also what makes it genuine goyslop
Name some anime you consider non-goyslop.
Literally anything without Black folk
Ergo Proxy
Demon Slayer
Konosuba
It’s all fun and games but once you add Black folk it’s DOA
>Konosuba
Sylvia is a nig with breasts.
It's not that big a deal to have the occasional nig in anime. Bleach, Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece all feature black guys, and those are from 2 decades back.
Even Legend of Galactic Heroes has one, and that's the best anime.
The closest thing I can think of in Western live action is the finale of Buffy season, I wanna say 5. The one with the evil goddes. Spike tries to 1v1 her right hand man and gets beaten up offscreen.
This generation of anime fans getting obsessed with moronic panels like this and Fire punch le funny face are why I pretend I have never watched anime and I want to bully every single one of you gays even tho I grew up with anime and have watched everything you can name.Your Naruto and yuyu Hakusho rip off of the year isn't unique and won't be remembered and it might as well be ai generated, yesterday you made a thread saying that it mogs the entire Hollywood just how fricking gay are you for this Kakashi clone you vegana having male?
>getting obsessed with moronic panels like this
As if Naruto fans didn't lose their shit over the "my pain is far greater than yours" animation. Bleach fans memed the frick out of THE HEART. Hell, the Yamcha pose is a cultural phenomenon in Japan.
you seem really mad. are you going to be okay?
Ask your mom if she was alright, she kept screaming my name as I was fricking her shithole, did you notice she walked funny this morning?
>Fire punch le funny face
Funny?
What emotion does this convey?
pain
Based. I like anime but anime "culture" is cancer.
>gets low dif
