I used to do this in HS when all we had was youtube for free on demand music. I send my friends dozens of links to songs over the last year and a bit. Then one night we're all getting drunk and high and one of them says "how about we bust out the homosexual playlist?". Other friends looked shocked and said "dude he's right here". Becoming a patrician of content is increasingly impossible. I’m now 34, I’m settling down but I’ve been gaming quite heavily since I was 5. I’ve played basically every single major release since I was 5. Already I’m falling away from what is relevant today. I cannot imagine the kind of uphill bullshit kids these days have to deal with. Zoomers will be the last legit gamers, if they could be called that. I can’t imagine gen A or B learning the intricacies of varioys games from the 80’s and 90’s and not powering through them so they can play something else.
I stopped all together with new releases maybe 10 years or so ago. Shits boring, I play everquest on project1999 servers. A 24 year old game is all I play anymore
