This is one of the best episodes.
I could have you committed like that
all of the latter seasons, pic related is actually very good
This one, easily.
I despise Lucky too much to care about Hank's moronic mother.
I don't understand the hate for Lucky. He might be kinda moronic but at least his heart is in the right place.
He as a character isn't so bad, in fact I thought the episode where he was trying to get his GED was pretty funny, but his introduction marks the dip in quality of the show. When he gets introduced, that's when the show starts to suck. It's nothing new: introduce a new character to any sitcom, and that's when it usually sucks.
Peggy is as peggy do.. I applaud people trying for GED's, it just happens that a ton of the % of GED takers.. Are in jail for some odd reason.
I did like how he was introduced when the Souphanousinphones start pretending to be rednecks to counteract affirmative action and get Connie into a good college and he's one of the real rednecks they hang out with. You wouldn't expect a character like that to become a permanent member of the cast. But yes, it is a bummer that Luanne never escapes her white trash roots and marries a man who makes a living by suing companies for his own idiocy.
>white trash roots
The first fricking episodes of the show made her out to be extremelly intelligent and reliable. I mean Hank was letting her fix his truck with no qualms at all. I think one Murphy got into leading roles they had to downplay Luanne and make her a moron so she isn't in the show too much.
Besides it marking the dip in quality, Luanne deserved better. She was turning her life around and then they stuck her with some ugly old hick
I have a coworker who recently slipped in pee pee, but at a Wal Mart. I don't know what kind of settlement he's gonna get.
I'm rewatching KOTH and fricking forgot about lucky
Bill cross dressing
Don't dead-name her bigot, her name is Lenore.
BITCH, TAKE OFF THE DRESS
Why do you keep calling me b***h
YOU DON'T KNOW WHO I AM, BUT I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE
Can I borrow some gas?
>this ain't the democratic national convention
>GO BACK TO Hollywood FREAK
The new season is absolutely going to suck in comparison to this.
Those are the bad guys. You were always supposed to see them as buttholes
They're abrasive but in the new season you'll have to Hank pull them aside personally and ask them to leave. The show was always balanced but I think the scales will be tipped in this reboot.
as he should. that shouldn't be tolerated behavior towards your friend who's having a mental breakdown. unless you want to tell me I'm wrong and contradict these supposed "values" you claim to have.
You sound like a genuine homosexual. Bill is an annoying butthole in that episode and Hank still goes above and beyond for him without having to do what I just said, maybe reflect on how you see Bill as a harmless person not ruining everyone else's good time. Might be fitting to your life experiences, I'd guess.
>says this
>when there's literally a trap thread as we speak on the front page
where do you think you are, buddy? if you're not a huge homosexual you don't belong here.
There is much much more to your homosexualry than just simply liking wiener.
Dude, we get it. Either man up and suck a wiener or stop taking about it. We're trying to talk about cartoons here
Dude, we get it. You're a homosexual.
gays rule the world now, don't you know that? Yet no matter how many wieners you suck, you'll still have to be you
You're still going to hell, though.
couldn't be worse than here.
Go back to twitter then, normalgay.
I was here first.
was there really only one christmas episode?
plenty of christmas episodes
The 2000 y2k episode.
The truck/grandma delivery episode
Hank visits his mom with cotton maybe that's Thanksgiving though
I can't think of any others right now.
Can't be just 2
The worst episode of the series is a Christmas episode.
ywnbaw
non gays hide threads like that. you probably enlarge the thumbnails because you like wiener
Are you crazy? That was one of the best episodes.
YWNBAW troon
That's one of the best
Your opinion is wrong
hank's mom reminds me of my own
that kind of makes me sad and I'm not sure why
>What’s the worst episode of King of the Hill?
Why do we always have to be so negative?
What's the BEST episode of King of the Hill?
I like the one with Buckley's angel where he jumps with Louanne on the trampoline and "Life in a Northern Town" plays in the background.
It's really touching.
>What's the BEST episode of King of the Hill?
>The one werepeggy falls off without a parachute
>the one wereBobby learns to cook well
>the one werepeggy gets arrested
>the one wereladybird gets old
Testosterone episode was tops as well
The testosterone episode is funny as frick
Pretty good choices. I'd add the Hilloween to that list too
>Hank pilot the EVA, or Peggy will have to do it again.
Remind me, did Ladybird die by the end of the show?
no she didn't, she was just deaf
No but I’m sure that awful Hulu reboot will do her in
I don't know that it's in contention for best, but the truckin episode is one of my personal favorites.
>old
I like the artificial ass cheek lawn mower racing episode.
>HANK! take my ass
great episode
>everybody was reachin for em, i just got to mine first
>the one were ladybird gets old
The one where Hank gets a dolphin to rape a man
A Beer Can Named Desire is easily the best episode.
I second this.
>Bills were made to be broken
Is another episode that always makes me tear up. Such a great episode.
thats my favorite, the way everyone freaks out when they help the guy make the final touchdown is so relatable
>I do believe I'll give room service a jaaaaangle
>I knew him. Briefly.
>How are the Saints looking this year?
>I'm more associated with sinners than Saints, and sinners aalllwayysss look good.
Peggy is insufferable in this episode. Like seriously, frick off and stay out of Bill's business, if he wants to frick all 3 of those sexy single women, he can do whatever the frick he wants, he's a grown ass man and she's not his mom. Really wish he told her to go frick herself in that ep, at least he sort of finally does at the very end.
my favorite
legendary
Dale getting an office job
Mad Dog
Bobby grows his own roses
Wedding of Bobby Hill it's not up for debate that's why we don't discuss it
>You look reeeaal special tonight.
There's something so heartwarming about that. I really like the rule34 animation of the two of them fricking while dressed as bride and groom.
Jumpin Crack Bass
This is one of my favorites too.
I wish shows were still this comfy.
>the episode where hank's a trucker moving furniture in a semi and the gang stows away in the back then gets stuck on a mountain out of gas
>Peggy's bookstore/gun club where the rednecks end up reading her book and discussing it at her house
>peggy ruins thanksgiving and runs off to her (heterosexual) hairdressers
>>hank, dale and bill try to stop them from draining the quarry because they drove boomhauers old ford into it back in the 70's
>Cotton helps peggy through physical therapy after she's in a full body cast
>hank has to perform Cotton's last wishes before flushing him down a toilet at the bar
>Cotton gets hank drunk in an elaborate plot to assassinate castro
>hank hires dale as a mercenary for hire as "mr big"
>hank accidentally helps nebraska win the Natty(?) with a bullshit kitty corner kick
oh I forgot
>the one where hank reveal;s how much of an butthole he was to young hank when he was learning to shoot a gun, and he enters a shooting contest with bobby
>the boy scout snipe hunt
Boomhauer ratting everyone out about killing the swan and stuffing it in the cooler and the ranger not understanding him is one of my favorite moments in the show
I love how that that this is how the guys' dads are first introduced, but then Dale's dad is rewritten into a swishy gay rodeo cowboy.
My head cannon is that Bill and boomhower are the fathers of beavis and butthead but they don't know they got girls pregnant.
They aren't brothers right? Bill and Boom
Beavis and Butt? Coincidence..?
Probably.
Your head cannon is garbage. These dudes from Do America were confirmed to be Beavis and Butthead's dads. Also that their moms are bawds.
I don't think it was as "confirmed" just highly suggested
You should watch Do America. It was more then just suggested. DNA test match. It's also a good movie.
?t=60
>Possible
Don't that guy, anon.
*be that guy
Cotton helps peggy with therapy is the one
You have great taste and you should feel good about yourself
Good picks
>Cotton gets hank drunk in an elaborate plot to assassinate castro
>I'm not a native Texan.. I'm just a Texan.
honestly brings a little tear to my eye, as silly as the Castro stuff was that whole arc of Hank's and tying it in to the Alamo was really well done
>Dale keeps putting "I <3 New York" bumper stickers on his truck
Was that the same episode that had Cotton say to his veteran buddies:
>I’LL SWIM TO CUBA AND KILL CASTRO MYSELF…..WELL THAT’S HOW THEY GET HERE!
anything without bobby. or nancy or john redcorn.
Bobby joining a cult of d&d players was solid
Dang Ol’ Love from season 6 is an all time favorite of mine
?si=D3z2gUeizvBQXMEq
A Fire-fighting We Will Go
I especially like the bit where in Boomhauer's recounting of events he speaks normally and everyone else speaks like him with the dang ols
I've got dozens of favorites but I'm going to promote season 1 "Hank's Unmentionable Problem" since you don't see a lot of love for season one KotH
Season one is gold. Especially the ones with the looser, more "Season 7 Beavis & Butthead" style animation. My favourite is the ciggy episode.
With the looser? Are you meaning the episode where Hank is shouting loser at Peggy?
"Peggy the Boggle Champ"
More loose, anon. Ya gonna give english lessons here?
I was just asking if you meant the boggle episode from season 1
He means the older animation style and he referenced the cigarette episode.
Ah thank
The lawn/fire ants ep is great. It's so over-the-top, yet so fitting for the show.
>DALE, YOU WENT TOO FAR THIS TIME
>C'MERE I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS
>bobby give me your hand
>theyve been wanting me for a looooong time
My favorite episode (and I think it's the only episode where hank actually kicks someone's ass) is when Bobby gets a job at the race track and that moron guy makes him cross the tracks to bring him a soda and hank goes waaahh!! On him. Actually don't and heart warming at the same time.
Peggy specced Into her Playing with the Queen of Hearts build
That's the worst episode, Buckley's angel is corny as frick
Wrong
Frick off that's a classic. In fact I know what I'm watching tonight now.
Gotta break out the 12 string and play along to the music as well.
Enjoy your kinoless evening.
I don't know if I'd call it the best, but one of my absolute favorites is Megalo Dale.
>That's the calculated risk you take when you release a mongoose.
Wild Bills are Made to be Broken
My favorites were the Japanese episodes. Japan as a country is a great foil for Hank.
>dont tell me you spent whole vacation in living room
Also why the beer can named desire episode is great. Hank even has a bit where he breaks down and says "I doesn't understand this place, up is down bill is getting women." I know it's the wrong dialogue but I think it's a similar vibe as the Japan ep. He's a fish out of water and it's funny.
scenes even better knowing tom petty voiced buckley
How can they even make a revival!? Half the voice cast is dead.
>inb4 Stephen Root eats it
The focus is going to be on an all new, younger, hipper, more diverse cast with just two of the original actors making occasional references to the old show. Kind of like what That 90's Show did with That 70's Show.
For the love of god don’t say that
AI can replace the VAs
was fkin wit ya, tom petty doesnt voice buckley he had much better things to do
luanne and lucky could've died a redneck way like tornado or destruction derby, then you only have to figure out Dale, I say just get a new actor even if its unfortunate hes not main family, wonder if theyd keep khan voiced by a white guy prolly not
The one where the guys stay overnight in the Megalo Mart with Dale for the exterminator job is extremely comfy
>Rabies episode
>Hank rents porn episode
>Bobby kicks people in the nuts episode
DUSTY OLD BONES, FULL OF GREEN DUST
Fun with Jane and Jane
Beer Can Named Desire
Who Shot Debbie Part 1&2
Mega-Lo Mart overnight episode
The zoo episode
I'm doing a rewatch right now and season 5 & 6 are pretty much filled with bangers
Any episode with Lucky is the worst episode.
Nine Pretty Darn Angry Men
It’s not the best episode but I like that Cotton’s allowed to be unrelentingly awful with no bullshit redemption by the end of the episode.
I don't know if it is a popular opinion but the one with Buck's son where they ride off together bonding and Hank gets his long desired propane hall of fame jacket.
homie make your own thread
Pigmallion
Good episode
What's not to like
worst? dusty old bones, or the old lady one.
best? racist dawg or the rabies episode
how can people not like dusty old bones? the most cringe and rage inducing eps are often the most classic, I dont like it when Dale screws over Hank like in that one where Hank gets his ID and it says female
>best
>racist dawg
I'm asking you politely, but firmly to leave.
It isn't the worst, but the most I would say, "fricked up" episode is the guy in the pig costume getting killed by the machine.
>gets turned into sausage
that was weird.
Perfect Halloween episode.
>not the trick or treating episode
This sounds pretty gay but in that episode when Hank and the church woman are shouting at each other, trying to bait Bobby, and he finally says, "I don’t care about candy. I just want to be with my Dad." I always get a lump in my throat.
why?
Second best. I like Halloween eps that change the genre to horror for a day. Especially if it's for a more down-to-earth show like koth.
What was the name of that Halloween ep?
>killing the swan and stuffing it in the cooler
Which ep?
Which one was this?
And finally,
which one was this also?
>What was the name of that Halloween ep
Hilloween
the swan and stuffing it in the cooler
3rd episode and it was a whooping crane
Which one was this?
"Lupe's Revenge
>And finally,
>the episode where hank's a trucker moving furniture in a semi and the gang stows away in the back then gets stuck on a mountain out of gas
>Cotton gets hank drunk in an elaborate plot to assassinate castro
>hank hires dale as a mercenary for hire as "mr big"
>hank accidentally helps nebraska win the Natty(?) with a bullshit kitty corner kick # which one was this
Livin' on Reds, Vitamin C and Propane
Wematanye, He got the bird wrong, Wematanye.
The bird was a whooping crane the episode wouldn't have made sense with it being a swan
Thanks, guys.
Guy. and you're welcome friend
>best episode
the one where cotton helps peggy learn how to walk
>worst episode
any where peggy is treated like a gullible idiot, or when hank is unreasonably angry because the plot demands him to be
>doesnt like it when peggy is a gullible idiot
those are half the best episodes, like the con artist one where she makes everyone give in thousands more dollars to the con artist
This. One of my personal favorites is the one where Peggy accidentally kidnaps a kid from Mexico during a class trip and tries to give testimony in Spanish during her trial.
>let her explain what happened. in spanish. in her own words
comedy gold
>>best episode
the one where cotton helps peggy learn how to walk
Very good episode. Gets me to tear up
basically anything in the digital coloring era. some of those episodes are thrown in the good seasons because of the series being weird with air dates
Pigmalion is a great episode and people hate it for reddit reasons (oh my science it's so dark yikeroonies #animatedatrocity)
Can we watch it later?
The end is just kind of fricked up you gotta admit, at least for king of the hill standards.
it's a halloween episode
How so? The guy regained his sanity
He got skewered and died
He get killed by the machine right after
These two episodes in particular are so strange tonally for KotH, serious left field shit. I don’t like them more or less for it but they’re really odd considering what the rest of the show is like for the most part.
The only fault I can find with it is it that should have been a two-parter, with some elements of it reappearing in Season 8 for about maybe three or four episodes like they did with Propane Boom Part 1 & 2 + As Old as the Hills / Peggy Hill: the Decline and Fall.
Agreed. Pigmalion was great
I don’t know about worst but best was the one where Hank walks in on his mother getting railed by his israeli stepfather.
You only pretend to dislike that because it involves a israelite
He said best, anon… idiot
all of them
Any Dale episode is S tier.
>Guns don’t kill people, the government does
More the later ones where Dale devolved from the run of the mill anti-gov Texan gun nut to the neighbourhood moron who exists only to give Hank shit.
Dale you giblet head, the NRA is a GOVERNMENT SANCTIONED organization
>Heheh, that's what THEY want you to think
>Sir, we are "they"
>GIH
Now that the dust has settled, is kicking a man in the balls a viable form of self defense and/or hand to hand combat.
In a real fight you do whatever you need to do to not die or be gravely injured. If it’s in front of others though then you might get some shit for fighting “dirty” but you’ll still probably win so frick it.
POCKET SAND!!!
Depends—is it your purse? Do you know him?
The one where Peggy and Bobby try to be cool
I skip this one every time I rewatch the series, so I'm seconding anon
You make it all the way to season 13 on rewatches? I didnt even recognize the episode, I dont think I ever make it past season 10
I always stop at returning japanese. It's a good endpoint for the series.
i can't stand those episodes.
a lot of cotton episodes are mixed bags, some are absolutely grating, others are decent
cotton sucked. his schtick is that he's supposed to be annoying? that doesn't make him any more tolerable. grampy buttholes are not interesting.
The point is that it shows that Hank is treating Bobby the same way his dad treats him with the "That boy ain't right" stuff. He's caught between not wanting his son to grow up to be a weenie and not wanting to be like his father.
no, if anything he's too soft on him.
This one’s bad. Is the B plot of this one Hank finds a sandwich restaurant he really likes? He doesn’t want to share a table so he asks for it to go and the cashier says it’ll be a few minutes so take a seat so he leaves. Just fricking stand Hank??? Grab your bag and leave
>that B plot
was actually really comfy, not so much funny but enjoyable watching Hank do normal stuff like that. I'd feel the same as he did.
Yeah I get it but he could literally just stand for 5 min and get his sandwich bag.
My fav episode is the volunteer fire fighter one or maybe the Mexico trip with khan and dale lol
I wish we had just one more episode where there's a plot that already happened and your living it through Hank and friend's memories.
thanks for reminding me why that episode is in fact worthwhile, that B Plot sells the whole thing
Forgot about this one
It's one of the lesser for sure
Any of the later episodes where one of the characters completely humiliates Hank for no good reason. Just lazy writing.
Also, the ZZ Top ep.
People overhate the Canada episode, I don't get it, I guess it's annoying to see Hank get humiliated but the ending more than makes up for it.
This is my least favorite episode, also the one where they get the cat.
Most of the stuff in the last few seasons is pretty bad. All the characters lose their depth and become flat and cartoonish.
Other than that, I hate the propaniacs episode and the manger babies episode.
KotH doesnt have a bad season theres just a few mediocre episodes in each one
The Rainstorm one
It shows how shitty people of Arlen are like. For frick sake they gave more a shit about some outlet mall than half the town being washed away, and Hank got blame for doing something opposed to nothing.
Late seasons of KOTH often had characters who were massive fricking dicks often for no reason:
- The cop voiced by Fred Willard
- The dam butthole you mentioned
- John Redcorn who abruptly forgets why he broke it off with Nancy and starts going for her again
- The college kids who Bobby is on the meat inspecting team with who turn on him for one frickup despite him being the most skilled member.
As for the worst episode, The Canadian one. The Canadian guy being a smug butthole was fine and actually a pretty accurate portrayal of how some Canadians can be, but the cornball American propaganda like the flag appearing behind Peggy while she does the "give me your hungry and weary" thing was so fricking lame, and the celebration of American ignorance, like its positive to not know anything about other countries, you might as well be a Chinese commie yapping about "ghost people".
>John Redcorn who abruptly forgets why he broke it off with Nancy and starts going for her again
Didn't Nancy break it off with JRC? Pretty sure she broke it and there were multiple episodes saying he still wanted her back
Jrc broke it off with her originally
yeah it was when Dale helped him out and Redcorn and him became friends so he felt bad about it
Yep that's the one
Pretty shitty of him to go back on it
>Pretty sure she broke it and there were multiple episodes saying he still wanted her back
There was one episode where he tried to woo her back but it was in the very end when the writing started to kind of jump the ship with things like that. Most people don't consider it "cannon".
The one you're probably thinking of is the one where he wants to be a part joseph's life and gets really assertive about it and even considers spilling the beans to dale. But at no point does he want to start plowing nancy again.
That episode would've been fine if Bill got some kind of comeuppance for the shit he pulled.
His comeuppance is that he has to be Bill
bill...had a hard life
That is true
The best episode by far is the one with Hank and Bobby doing the father-son shoot. It is the most on-brand episode: heartwarming, conservative but willing to take the piss, family-oriented while highlighting the agonies of family.
The worst episode is the one where Hank was getting screwed by his car salesman. It was just so fricking stupid and not funny. Basically anything after that episode with Connie’s cousin is a wasteland.
The episode they all start smoking again is hilarious
>I’ll save the rest of my tile for after breakfast
Wasn't there one where Cotton was trying to squander all his money away on a timeshare he was never going to go to and Hank is trying to protect him from getting ripped off?
And then the episode ends with: Just let people enjoy things, ok?
Americans cannot own land in mexico!
No that one is worse then that. Hank and friends go to a timeshare seminar to get a free trip. Cotton tags along and turns out he's a sucker. Cotton loves the attention the sales creatures give him while schmoozing for a sale, but they find out he's broke. So then Hank willingly pays for his dad's timeshare scam because it makes him happy.
It's a pretty fricked up message. Imagine finding out your widowed grandma has been wiring most of her social security check to her internet boyfriend she's never met before, but people are telling you to just let it happen because it makes her happy.
DALLAS?
SALLAD
I liked the paintball episode and the semi truck episode
The tank one and tractor were pretty good also the mascot one since that does actually happen in real life.
Any peggy episode
peggy's great. people must have some weird hangup about their mother or something. she's like lois from malcolm in the middle.
>she's like lois from malcolm in the middle
Lois is a high strung control freak whereas Peggy is more chill but also pretty arrogant about certain things, like speaking spanish, despite sucking at it. Two very different characters. For the most part I never disliked peggy but lois could be kinda grating at times with her "know it all who ends up being right almost all the time" schtick. Especially the ending
Lois is definitely a lot more high strung and explosive than Peggy ever could be but let’s be real anon, Peggy is absolutely 100% just as much of a control freak.
but she usually was right.
>that episode where she's pulling out of the parking lot
honestly love stuff like that. character insists they're right and no one believes them, and are vindicated at the end. like take shelter, or the changeling.
Then one when they go to Japan because it introduced a Brother we never seen again. Yes I'm aware he shows up for a split second in the final episode.
In the last season there was one where Bill gets diabetes and another where Kahn goes off his bipolar meds. Neither are funny.
This episode is hilarious.
>"Lillian ate the last scone"
>"And it was delicious!"
I use that line on my mom all the time when I eat something she wanted.
The worst episode is the one where Peggy basically has a sexless, one-sided affair with that Mexican actor. It's like the writers really wanted us to hate her with that one.
I don't mind that one because Peggy gets humbled. The Substitute Spanish Prisoner is lame because she gets away with being a moron and acting like Hank was wrong.
That one where bill gets roommates abs gets fricked by the roommates. The ending was weird and pathetic.
Tilly episodes tend to suck. The only exception is Livin' on Reds
anything with lucky
There's far worse episodes, atleast Tilly is tragically insufferable here. The one where she cucks the nice israeli guy then the episode treats Hank like he's the idiot for pointing out she's a dumbass
It's the fricking McMansion episode. That or Hank's truck dying. There's just an "educational" MacGyver episode feeling to the truck episode.
hank's truck was a KINO episode
absolute brainlet take
The premise is perfectly fine, there isn't a single thing out of character, but the episode itself just feels fricking gross for some reason and I can't explain it more than "educational MacGyver."
I NEVER SAID I HATE MACGYVER. The truck episode in KotH specifically felt like the avalanche episode of MG where it plays like an educational video somehow. I'm moronic and autistic I don't fricking know.
>felt like the avalanche episode of MG where it plays like an educational video somehow. I'm moronic and autistic I don't fricking know.
Never saw that episode of mg so still have no fricking clue what you mean but I accept your explanation or lack there of. Carry on autist.
>Never saw that episode of mg
It's like it's trying to be a mg episode but at the same time they can't do any MacGyver shit because he's just trapped under snow and they can't just asspull some bullshit because it's actually a real, regular event. It plays with an almost educational tone of what you're really supposed to do. Hanks truck has the same feeling somehow. Like it was one long advertisement yet it was supposed to be an episode? Something got canned yet the show must go on type of feel.
So it felt like a car commercial instead of an episode? Is that what you mean?
I guess you could say that ((they)) were trying to promote getting rid of your old battered truck and buy new. The subtle propaganda behind the episode. But it's a common thing literally everybody has to go through.
I think it's your autism denying you a kino experience
My decades-old red truck dying was a horrible moment, I can relate. It wouldn't be so bad if companies still made affordable compact trucks. I don't want one of these 80K stupidly oversized ~~*modern*~~ trucks that somehow have impractically small beds.
It is insane how that type of vehicle just disappeared. Older rangers and tacomas are great but now they’ve blown up just like everything else. Which makes little sense given how few people who buy trucks use them for truck things.
Makes perfect sense in that they want a truck but only use it like a minivan.
>people buy trucks
>proceed to buy camper shells
just buy an SUV/van you silly bastards.
>I don't want one of these 80K stupidly oversized ~~*modern*~~ trucks that somehow have impractically small beds.
Pretty much anyone who actually uses a truck to haul lumber and firewood and dead deer and shit has an old Tacoma or Nissan or something. If you're a white collar homosexual who wants to create the appearance that he hauls "manly things" like hay bales and cement, you buy one of those bigass homosexual Chevy trucks. The latter is simply a more profitable market because one suburban poser wanting to play rancher will spend more than four of us will on reasonably priced, practical vehicles.
I knew a guy who bought one of those behemoths and he was, no joke, an accountant. He would brag about how much it would tow and I gave him shit about never actually using his Ford F9001 or whatever to haul anything whereas I used my little 1/2 ton pickup all the time to move wood and furniture, etc.
So just to prove me wrong he puts a bunch of cardboard boxes of neatly collated tax papers in the back of his cab and it all flies out almost immediately, scattering all over an intersection. Social security numbers on W4 forms blowing everywhere and he fricks over like a hundred clients having to chase down people's taxes as they blow in the wind.
Ironically, had he gone out of business he would have been forced to use the truck to actually make a living.
This one gives me the feels every time.
I think I hate the one where Bobby skates for Jesus.
Actually for me, most of the Bobby episodes outside of the puberty arc are pure cringe.
>skates for Jesus
Is that the Christian rock music one? He doesn't really skateboard but the other kids do I think.
>There's just an "educational" MacGyver episode feeling to the truck episode.
I literally have no fricking clue what you mean by this.
I like the truck episode, brings Bobby and hank closer and it's got some great gags.
Mcmansion episode I don't thunk I've seen more than once for a reason. It's not great
what's wrong with it? is it the fact they destroy someone's private property and no one gets arrested and they're vindicated for committing a felony? I don't see what's wrong with that.
I don't remember because it's a weak episode comedically and late in the shows run. Only saw it once and if I didn't laugh outloud during the episode I don't usually ever rewatch.
>hating macgyver
Not that one, that's for sure.
Several of the final season are just bland, the series finale doesn't even feel like a proper episode
Has there ever been a bigger pleb filter in the history of Cinemaphile than Peggy? Most of her episodes are absolute gems.
>Peggy the Boggle Champ
>Peggy's Headache
>To Spank, with Love
>Cotton's Plot
>Little Horrors of Shop (I consider this more of a Peggy episode than a Hank episode)
>Old Glory
>the Sugarfoot's scenes in Hanky Panky and High Anxiety
>Transnational Amusements Presents: Peggy's Magic Sex Feet
>Lupe's Revenge
>The Substitute Spanish Prisoner
>Full Metal Dust Jacket
>The Peggy Horror Picture Show
Once you figure out her character is written like the writers just brainstormed "what's the most brazenly narcissistic thing anyone could possibly say in this moment?" and then have peggy actually say it. It took me awhile before I liked peggy, but once I figured it out she's one of my favorite characters now.
>Little Horrors of Shop
This is great because it shows that Hank would be good at anything he does and just how bad Peggy is at everything she does.
There is not one bad episode of king of the Hill
But the least best is probably "Bobby Rae"
I never actually watch KotH beyond being bored by it and wishing I was watching something more exciting back in the early 00's. Is it really worth revisiting in the mid 2020s as a mid 30s adult?
Yes, it's easily a top 5 sitcom in the history of television.
It's definitely a show you appreciate and relate to more with more life experience and age. If you start from S1E1 and go from there it can be a little rough in the first season but just keep going and you'll get to kino.
It's unironically the greatest
See
I can't think of a better over all quality show than koth. It's got a lot of depth and heart. Notice anons are talking about episodes that make them tear up. It's got funny and feels.
just don't watch the boring episodes. duh.
ZZ Top one
t. Boomer who watched them all at the time of airing.
Truly one of the greatest shows of all time. Comfy, well written, easy for background noise or even to watch closely.
Who's your main in King of the Hill Online? Bobbygays don't reply, That's My Purse builds are breaking the game and I'm tired of it.
Luanne, because I like her victory lines and taunts.
I unironically miss Brittany Murphy so much, bros.
the one where Peggy goes parachuting
Cuffs and collars is my favorite, when Peggy thinks hank is jacking off
>let it be known that Mr hill REALLY knows his pornography
The fact that it’s about underage shit that’s just straight up available at the local video store is so crazy to me. Every time I see that episode I think to myself what the frick
It's in reference to an actual pornstar who lied about being 18 and did a ton of porn while like 16 or 17 and they had to recall all of it after she got found out. Did a bunch of work with Ron Jeremy so it was pretty popular at the time.
based boomer coomer
>let the record show that man really knows his porno
I'm not even a big porn guy, it was just a huge scandal when I was growing up but never really made news for obvious reasons. You just heard about it like 2 girls 1 cup. Everybody was talking about it but nobody really was talking about it, if that makes sense.
Based anon coming through with the explanation. It always seemed so out of left field to me that it just so happened to be jailbait specifically but now that you mention it I do remember hearing something somewhere about that scandal WAY back in the day so yeah I know what you mean.
That's what boomers are for anon. To give you context when you have none.
Anytime.
Usually I don't like celebrity episodes, but the Randy Travis episode was good. The one time Peggy gets called out for her bullshit is the one time she's actually right.
Classic boy who cried wolf scenario.
There were a hand full of other cameos in that ep too.
Images like that don't get made anymore
unlike most dickheads I actually like probably every single episode of the show but one i watched recently that felt a bit draining was the baseball one where they play the Ace and Hank thinks hes gonna love it if they give him a real game and then they just end up ruining his gimmick, everyone in that episode is kind of an ass
Sir, I come from France. Circumference.
I actually really like this one soley for the flashback to when cotton is smashing the diry dishes with a chair while hank panics.
>insane woman wants to die in your house
>everyone for no reason takes her side
so dumb
I could have saved her bros.
>that episode build up where she's her own woman with her own place and takes care of a pool as 'her,' thing to do
>nope let's make her moronic with a literal trailer park baby daddy
No question.
any centered around Peggy
>that two parter episode of who killed buck if i'm not mistaken
>Hank becomes the defacto boss
>gets in his truck after work
>debbie is already in his truck in her lingerie immediately ready to frick the propane out of hank to keep her cushy sugar baby job
>that two parter episode of who killed buck if i'm not mistaken
Buck didn't die. The mystery was who killed Debbie. Turned out she accidentally killed herself while hiding out to kill Buck and Liz. Her VA was Reese Witherspoon.
I don’t know if the worst, but the one about Hank getting revenge on a dick car dealer ends on a weird note. So the moral is that sometimes your enemy helps you for the wrong reason?
I like the episode where Hank has to wear the fake ass and his friends throw it on the power lines and he tries to get them down and his towel falls off
pure gold
the one where they go to wyoming or some shit and the cowboys there treat hank like a b***h, and then bobby goes yee haw on his horse all gay
or the finale where bobby learns to do something that makes hank proud. the whole deal with hank is that he isn't proud of bobby because he isn't into anything he respects. but that's the whole thing, he could have tried to give a shit about his comedy, or other interests, but he didn't, because he didn't respect those things. it's just kind of stupid that for closure or to wrap it all up they had bobby get into some esoteric bullshit like "steak and meat judging" just so his dad could be like HEY WAIT I ACTUALLY DON'T THINK THAT IS STUPID
just not a good finale
>and then bobby goes yee haw on his horse all gay
Yeah that shit was pretty lame. Hank had no reason to be so out of his depth aside from setting up ranching as a "thing" Peggy and Peggy alone has.
its a great finale actually, criticize the overall message of Hank only being supportive of stuff he likes but its still a very well executed episode
i wasn't entertained
whats the best one and why is it kidney boy?
Why was he such an idiot if John Redcorn seemed smart? Are genetics a lie? Could Mozart be still alive?
Raised by Dale.
infected by dales crazy and nancy seems like an airhead sometimes.
Soak in your liies
Exposure to pesticides at a young age
any of the ones with lucky

PUFFIN'.....
BOY
Haven't seen this in years, post it you sick frick
But honestly did they HAVE to make Bobby such a pudgy annoying little homo? They didn't make it easy for Hank even if he has intimacy issues in the background.
