From worst to best:
1. Rise of Skywalker
2. Attack of the Clones
3. Revenge of the Sith
4. Phantom Menace
5. Last Jedi
6. Force Awakens
7. Return of the Jedi
8. Empire Strikes Back
9. Star Wars
Empire Strikes Back took Star Wars to simultaneously unnecessarily dark places (not a fan of the Vader parentage reveal) and in a more immature direction with Yoda. People complain about Jar Jar but I feel about the same about 40+ minutes of scenes with a frog puppet.
Empire set the tone for the rest of the series and is responsible for every bad Star Wars film after that.
In the original Star Wars the most outlandish aliens we see are in the cantina. They’re all vaguely threatening, which fits with the spaghetti western style scene. There’s the Jawas which, even though child-sized and a little funny, also have a threatening aspect with their hoods and glowing yellow eyes. They shoot R2 and capture and sell both R2 and 3P0.
Chewbacca is tall and physically imposing and its alluded to his ability to rip peoples arms off.
Everything in the original Star Wars sells you on a believable alien world, with all the fun and danger of the real world.
Yoda on the other hand is a muppet created by Jim Henson. It’s good effects work and creature design, but to me it’s the first major step towards things like Ewoks or Jar Jar, or the “Greedo shot first” way of treating the audience.
It’s a cute silly puppet for children, and it was arguably a mistake.
Really good points, in a way I agree. I always loved Yoda as a kid but as an adult some the of the sillier aspects pop out.
His wisdom being his greatest aspect though outweighed any size or strength disadvantage he might have. The weight of what he says and does makes it believable
The entire point of Yoda is that he doesn't look threatening, or what you'd expect a 'great warrior' to look like, and you're complaining that he doesn't look like what you expected?
In an alternate universe we had the following shows.
>STAR WARS: THE CRIMSON CORSAIR >Follows the adventures of the swinging kaleeshi space buccaneer from the force awakens, as he treads a fine line between accepting jobs between the first order and the resistance.
>STAR WARS: CANTO BIGHT >the codebreaker of last jedi fame gets his time to shine, as he navigates the quagmire of intrigue and gambling in the city of the galaxy's most richest people
>STAR WARS: THE KNIGHTS OF REN >set shortly after the events that led to ben solo assuming the cowl of kylo ren, we see the heir of vader learn how to lead as he contends with seven mysterious force users, each with a backstory more darker than the next.
>STAR WARS: GINA CARRANO >12 five hour episodes of me wedged between Gina carrano's breasts. Kathleen kennedy shines my pajeet balls.
>STAR WARS: MUHAMMAD >Follows the life of the one true prophet of allah.
>STAR WARS: SNOKE >He has been called by many names. The master. The sith. Darth plagueis. Supreme commander. But now he rules as Snoke. Follow him as he builds a new empire out of the ashes of the former one, and as he reminisces on all the former apprentices he trained to fulfill the destiny of the sith.
TFA is the worst, because it did nothing but waste the OT characters and write the next movie into a corner. I haven’t even seen Episode 9, but anything JJ Abrams touches is dogshit.
I think the last jedi is easily the worst and most hateable even though it tried to be the most ambitious of the sequels. It just falls flat on its face through execution on every level.
1. Rise of Skywalker
2. Force Awakens
3. Last Jedi
4. Attack of the Clones
5. Phantom Menace
6. Revenge of the Sith
7. Return of the Jedi (although the throne room scenes are my favorite scenes in all of SW)
8. A New Hope
9. Empire Strikes Back
1>3>2>4>5>6>the rest however your homosexual ass wants them
>prequels better than the original trilogy
Jesus Christ
>a new hope is goofy 70's porno tier shit
ok
>the rest is goofy 70's shit porno tier into the 80's
From worst to best:
1. Rise of Skywalker
2. Attack of the Clones
3. Revenge of the Sith
4. Phantom Menace
5. Last Jedi
6. Force Awakens
7. Return of the Jedi
8. Empire Strikes Back
9. Star Wars
This homie knows what's up
>homie
>garbage taste
checks out
Attack of the Clones > Revenge of the Sith > A New Hope > Empire Strikes Back > The Phantom Menace > Return of the Jedi
Rise of Skywalker of Attack of the Clones
Phantom Menace was the most disappointing
>good
OT
>also good
PT
>dogshit
bottom three
Last Jedi and Force Awakens are the worst I found Rise of Skywalker to at least have some entertaining scenes

Top tier bait. Here's your (you), homosexual
7 because it’s so flagrantly unoriginal.
You mean movies. I can see 7 of the worst
I don't like return of the jedi
watch the RLM reviews

Rise by far.
5 > 4 > 6 > 3 > 1 > 2, the others aren't star wars so not listed but if they were they would be below all these
This is close. I'd switch 1 & 3 though. Phantom is easily the best of the prequels

4 > 3 > 5 > 6 > 1 > 2 > dog excrement > 8 > 7
I never bothered with 9, but I assume it was just as bad as the other two sequels.

ST isn't canon
according to my gf

Based af, utterly wrong, but based.
