Probably just after the prequel trilogy I struggled to watch 2 and 3 they just wernt that interesting to me, id say the cgi overkill
I did watch the new trilogy recently too and they were awful I can't think of anything redeeming about them at all other than having some of the original actors even though they killed them all and a few practical effects were nice
That's all the shoehorned stronk woman and gay moron shit aside which just made them worse
It's like if a bad MCU movie were a Saturday morning cartoon at feature length. It's not great.

I was the target demographic that saw it in theaters and I can say with 100% confidence it was the worst Star Wars movie until the sequels. The Ewok films are better.

That's honestly the best decision you could make anon.
I've got a very close friend who's been getting into seething at classic franchises (mainly because he watches The Critical Drinker religiously) and I've been trying to tell him to just stop watching it, any of it. Unless you're a shareholder at Disney or have a couple billion dollars to buy the rights, getting angry over fictional franchise just isn't worth it. The idiots who are ruining them unironically crave attention so the best thing you can do is to simply not give it to them.
Right around the time TFA released. If I had the choice I would've dropped it after I saw the Phantom Menace but I was a retarded child. Tried sitting through the prequels again a few months ago and it was such a slog to get through outside of a few select scenes. I think I'd rather get waterboarded than have to sit through either of the new trilogies.
Andor's incredibly good, so good in fact that it makes me even angrier about Mandalorian and Boba Fett because it means they could be making good Star Wars but didn't want to. I couldn't even finish the first episode of Kenobi or Mandalorian S3
this
every time I hear someone praising Andor or Mandalorian I just roll my eyes
just because they're not as bad as the rest of disney wars doesn't mean they're actually good
get it together
In 2015 after I saw The Force Awakens, from the very moment I first saw the trailer, I instantly realized that the franchise was doomed to go to shit and that becoming any further emotionally invested in it wasn't worth it.
Personally I really don't understand why so many people continue to waste their time malding at Disney and Kathleen Kennedy. Just stop watching it. Stop consuming anything Disney or Star Wars-related and let this morally and financially bankrupt company and franchise die the death it deserves.
this
I always tear up when one of them dies to an explosion and his buddy tries to wake him up and then drops down and starts crying when he realizes his friend is gone
this was actually the biggest red flag
to so callously shit on their own franchise and fans should've been a warning to everyone that things were only going to get worse
then there's this retard claiming that the reason Disney Wars suck is because they had no source material to draw from
I still can't figure out how she still has a job after all the blunders she's responsible for
she definitely has to have some blackmail material
you don't get to ruin both Star Wars and Indiana Jones forever and not even get a slap on the wrist without some nuclear level leverage
after Last Jedi
Force Awakens was a massive red flag, but I decided to give them one more chance
but now I see Force Awakens fucked the sequel trilogy so hard, there was no chance at fixing it even if Last Jedi was somehow really fucking good
didn't even watch episode 9
everything Disney made only dug the franchise deeper into the ground
the last jedi broke me. episode 9 is the only star wars film i never bothered to watch.
mandalorian season 1 finally reeled me back in, but lost me again with season 2 + obi wan + boba fett
This. I gave it a shot, but then Disney spat in my face and told me, a life long star wars fan, that they did not want me as a fan of their franchise and that star wars was no longer for people like me. That was fine, the quality was abysmal and not worth paying any amount for. Haven't touched it since.
Prequel trilogy, but like many fans I liked the broad story, just thought it was horribly executed, and I can't forgive that horrible CGI ruining what would have otherwise been very compelling environments
>when Luke tossed the lightsaber over his shoulder.
This or the “your momma” joke. That movie actually took me completely out of it, i was sitting in the theater no longer watching a movie, but contemplating whether or not this was some elaborate troll or prank.
TLJ. Can't understand people who still harbor hope that SW will be good again even after what they've done to Luke. I dropped SW entirely except reading EU novels from time to time when I'd like some Space Fantasy shit (Currently reading New Jedi Order)
I'd say TLJ but I eventually watched TROS just to see how bad it got. Skipped everything after that except Andor which somehow feels like its own thing and not really SW crap. I'm just done with the whole thing unless they retcon the ST and change basically everything about it which won't happen.
It’s really fucking baffling how none of these “film makers” realize you need to have cool action and cool looking characters in a Star Wars movie all they’d have to do is make a: Darth maul, Star killer, Darth revan etc movie and have cool light saber battles and it would be a mega hit literal YouTubers make better shit why is Hollywood so averse to making cool Star Wars action it’s such an obvious thing
Disney has been focusing on gorl viewers. They shut down the Disney XD channel which was aimed at boys. Their reboot of Boy Meets World is Girl Meets World. And so on.
Since TLJ.
Mandalorian S1 had the atmosphere/practical effect jank of the old trilogy but that's about it.
Games were always the best and most immersive Star Wars experience
This should be a chud/soijack montage. For me it was after I saw the force awakens. No like skywalker the entire fucking movie, literal shit skin (is Oscar Isaac white or not even close?)/ women protagonists, it was over
I lost interest after the disney buyout, TFA felt sterile and boring and Rebels was kind of gay

It undid everything Vader and Luke did, made them useless even. Underpowered footnotes.
I saw the writing on the wall.
The only good thing to come out of starwars in the past 30 years
Whoops, forgot my pic
I've never seen it and have it on DVD. How does it stack up to the prequels?
It's worse than AotC.
>worse than AotC.
No way. I can't see that as being possible.
It's like if a bad MCU movie were a Saturday morning cartoon at feature length. It's not great.
It sounds hilarious. Maybe there's a riftrax.
I was the target demographic that saw it in theaters and I can say with 100% confidence it was the worst Star Wars movie until the sequels. The Ewok films are better.
This. The sad part is that Star Wars as it is right now is tailor made for fans of this shit.
I just realized, why the fuck is Obi-Wan taller than Anakin here?
He had the higher ground.
Same for me. Fucking lame.
basedd
What's the difference between based and basedd? Flu clogged nose?
After 3 when I realized I was watching literal children's movies
After the Disney buyout. Never watched one of the Disney movies and never will.
Thanks for reading

stop listening to reviewers goy! Please keep watching movies and paying us goy!

Same.

>Andor's incredibly good
So used to dogwater that mediocre Andor is called "incredibly good" - this franchise is dead.
this
every time I hear someone praising Andor or Mandalorian I just roll my eyes

It's been dead since 1983.

When these subhumans appeared
I thought they were cute
Fight me
this
I always tear up when one of them dies to an explosion and his buddy tries to wake him up and then drops down and starts crying when he realizes his friend is gone
Episode 6.
Never dropped it, just started pirating it.
When Disney killed the EU.
Same

To discover who cause trouble and strife, simply go to Wikipedia and check "early life"
she's one of ~~*them*~~?
Maybe she knows where Spielberg buried all the kids
she definitely has to have some blackmail material

And when the moron stormtrooper appeared on screen. I mean space janitor.

I havent watch the last movie "rise of skywalker", I only watched the first season of the mandalorian, so maybe around 2019
The Last Jedi

Star Wars is for females now
Disney has been focusing on gorl viewers. They shut down the Disney XD channel which was aimed at boys. Their reboot of Boy Meets World is Girl Meets World. And so on.
after TFA when disney announced they'd be shitting out a movie every year. the prequels always sucked by the way.
I didn't. I still love the Star Wars of 1977-2012.
The current disney gay shit called Star Wars isn't real
>cannot deal with reality
LOL I bet you have autism
Behold, a Star Wars fan!
Kys, Kathleen.
About 12 seconds after TLJ end credits. The only things I've seen since then are Visions and the last 2 episodes of Clone Wars.
I watched AotC earlier today though.
TFA. I was a big fan of Star Wars but lost interest when there were no young and handsome Jedi main character in TFA.
I FUCKING HATE DISNEY FOR KILLING HAN AND EVERY SKYWALKER. FUCK YOU DISNEY FUCK YOOUUUUUUUUU!
when lucas dropped sith lord jar jar.
unforgivable cowardice
when it became public that they dropped lucas outline after the sale
Since TLJ.
Mandalorian S1 had the atmosphere/practical effect jank of the old trilogy but that's about it.

When ~~*Disney*~~ bought it. Simple as.
It was the Special Editions for me and how George Lucas kept making these retarded changes.
The Force Awakens. I picked it up again for two Mando seasons but even that seems to have gone downhill.
the prequels.
A New Hope, but at the time we just called it Star Wars. Well, other people did. I called it Star Bores.
right after the first "far"
I dropped it after TFA
