yeah I used to tell the rich kids that they weren't actually funny and everybody was just laughing with them because they wanted to be their friend. They still kept laughing at me
>when is someone going to tell this popular thing that it's not popular because i specifically don't like it?
he doesn't care what you think because he's the biggest podcaster in the world and lots of fricking people go to his shows.
i think his comedy fricking sucks but that doesn't matter and that's just the truth. deal with it and stop making fricking slide threads homosexual.
I don’t think most people think rogan is funny even his hardcore fans. They just think he has interesting guests and conversations, even though he’s stun locked into identity politics
But that's how you know Rogan is truly out of touch.
Most of his fans openly say that he isn't funny and yet it seems like every time another stand up comes on, they have this pseud discussion about "the craft" and how civilians could never be stand up comedians even though I'm sure most of us have someone in our lives who is funnier than Rogan will ever be.
I think they'll always respect him for the Mencia thing but now that he has the spotify platform, no one will call him out because its just not worth it.
I don't think joe rogan does yoga
he is literally too bulky to do yoga
he probably won't be able to bend down ans touch is own feet and that's literally the most basic yoga posture
Honestly Rogaine is living proof that hard work can really bring results because he's one of the most naturally unfunny people I've ever seen to actually make it as a comedian. He's still not great by any means but I do respect his tenacity despite his fairly obvious shortcomings. He also wasn't born into any wealth or even worse in the ((entertainment)) industry, so he's alright in my book
Nobody is gonna tell him. Dude, that chimp is the fastest way to make it in America.
>Be Russian funeral service worker >Obsessed with Joe Rogan >Makes it to his inner circle >Takes 3 jiu jitsu lessons to larp as a martal artist connaisseur in front of Rogan >Create podcast >Suck Joe's wiener to beg him to introduce him all of his guests >Become rich
It would be so fricking amazing if someone like Bill Burr came on the podcast and said, quite openly, 'Joe. I like you. But you're not funny. Your stand-up sucks. It's time to bow out.'
Joe List and and Annie Lederman both make jokes about how Rogan doesn't get jokes on his podcast and takes everything literally.
Bill never criticizes someone's standup though. He might get pissed at Joe and criticize something physically about him, but never his show or his set.
I've seen NewsRadio, Fear Factor, and I still regularly listen to JRE. I like Joe. I've still yet to check any of his stand up. I just don't care about it to be honest. I find him funny and nice to listen to in the things I've mentioned, but I don't think I'll ever think of him as a comedian.
I lost so much respect for Rogan when he apologized for saying Black person. I never thought he was funny but I really appreciated that he curated his platform to allow people from all sides to have a voice.
When spotify doesn't renew his contract and youtube un-persons him. Before that the clout chasers can't say shit because they're scared of his influence as long as he's "relevant" in the podcasting scene.

you think people havent tried?
this exposes that every time Joe brings up a counter point its just him coping
I respect him sticking by his humor instead of just agreeing as usual.
have to watch every fricking time lmfao omg
i have never seen someone get so rolled by their opening acts, his big huge closer was just saying homosexual
Shouldn't weed smokers be more relaxed? What's he trying to prove here
he's a roided out manlet, the least relaxed person on earth which is why he needs all that shit he goes on about

It probably matters to him, no matter who he talks to he'll end up dovetailing into comedy, particularly his methodical approach to it.

showing off the yoga skills
I don't think joe rogan does yoga
he is literally too bulky to do yoga
he probably won't be able to bend down ans touch is own feet and that's literally the most basic yoga posture
In defense of Rogan, he will joke about history and archeology. That's rare in an American comic.

>Honestly Rogaine is living proof that
as long as you embody a demographic who can self-insert as you then they'll give you money
Isn't he kind of living proof of the opposite?
That no matter how hard you work, if you don't have talent, if you don't have that spark, then you'll never be really, truly good at what you do?
Not really. I'm sure he could be a funnier perfomer if he put his mind on it, but it's not something he ever needed.

He doesn't read the comments, bro.
(But maybe he should.)

He identifies as a comedian. He's transcomedic.
