So what if Pam had gotten the help she needs and decided to be a hero?
She already see herself as a hero because she is one of those holier-than-thou pyscho b***hes that only cares about their agendas without realizing the consequences, so she would "become a hero".
She would do the same thing she does now and change the label. Maybe save some people and not kill others but who cares when the biggest problem is how her extremist views on a issue affect the mainstream perpeption of the real problem causing more harm in the long run? homosexuals die all the time, and can you imagine on the DC universe with their extinction event weekly basis.
That would require to fix her to the point of her not being a psycho b***h...not to mention someone fixing her biology so that her immune system won't get trigger happy when someone has sex with her for the sake of baby making.
Maybe all she needed was to actually sit down and have a chat with Batman or Superman before she did anything terrible
Maybe Superman visiting Gotham during her first crime is the flashpoint of this timeline
Yeah. Superman’s greatest skill isn’t all of his abilities, but rather that he’s a genuinely good person who can comfort people and talk them out of bad decisions
The only way Pam will be utterly happy with her life is if she was a well-adjusted individual and never got powers.
I'll never understand how Swamp Thing just allows Ivy to use the Green the way she does, it isn't even the 'wrath of nature' most of the times, it's her robbing a damn bank and mind-controlling people.
She'd just be what normies assume she is. A green activist fighting for the protection of nature instead of a psychopath who wants to see the entire world covered in massive trees where the skeletons of men, women, and children hang from vines and used as nutrients, where the sea is swallowed by seaweed and other oceanic plant-life that it entangles even the corpses of whales.
>So what if Pam had gotten the help she needs
The demons which arranged for her to be empowered in the first place would have either driven her to kill the people helping her or driven the people helping her to kill themselves or others a la Harley.
Why the frick do you think there is an option B? Gotham's literally satanic. Read A Serious House on Serious Earth
I don't like the idea of Poison Ivy becoming a hero, because I like the idea of Harley Quinn remaining friends with an unrepentant villain despite trying to go good.
I think a redemption arc could work really well for her if they did it right and all modern interpretations of the character werent dogshit. Maybe like have Harley grow to be a stronger more confident person because of her relationship with ivy and harley uses that strength and confidences to stand up to ivy and tell her what shes doing is wrong, Basically two broken people that helped fix each others trauma and became better for it.

You make a very good point, though I think most heroes in DC have a no kill rule so let’s go with that

This. Maybe that would've made a change.

>have a chat with Batman or Superman
You mean having a chat with Swampy
Eh. She likely would have still gone nuts. She just would have become a yandere for him on top of it.
Yeah, I think OP is looking for a timeline where Ivy is still “mostly” sane. Like she’s Aquaman, but with plants

Think she’d still use the pheromones or no?
>accidents
Because if you found a way to predictably and reliably create superheroes the story would be broken because everyone would be doing it
I mean… yeah pretty much. Do you want another Vought?
I've read that fanfic.
What fic?
A fanfic that takes place in the Arkham game series where Ivy becomes a hero.

Oh, thanks for that

Where?

Then she would just be pic related
She thinks she’s a hero
Not many villains are evil to be evil these days
But what if she was a hero
I could save her.
How, how exactly would you save her
By being a good boyfriend while secretly working for the League to keep her in check.

>Hulk, and Poison Ivy too
For fricks sake, what other "soft sci-fi" character also ended up having their powers delivered by literal demons?
Honestly? Her style of villainy seems more justified with every passing day.
I wanna frick her breasts

That could be quite impactful, and since Harley was a psychologist she can recognize her own issues and Ivy’s
I don't know
I can cure her with my penis
