I think someone did it as a stunt with one of the industrial printers.

      There's 200cm by 100cm by 100cm machines now.

I've never once paid see a film or tv show in my entire life. I've never gone to the theater unless someone else was paying and never would pay for a ticket myself because that's dumb and I can just see it for free.

I find this hard to believe. Its possible but I dont believe you

        It's pretty simple
every time I've gone to the theater was either when I was a child and an adult was paying, or invited to go by someone else who paid for the tickets already. By the time I moved out and started paying for my own things I never would have even considered paying for cable or any streaming service

How sad must your life be that you literally never go out with friends to see a movie? Sure, most movies are dogshit but going out to see a movie on a huge sceen with solid sound is pretty great. You sound like an outright contrarian

not the anon in question but for me I know the last time I ever paid to see a movie was in 2006.
the cinema "experience" is nowhere close to being worth it, and TV has always been free

At this point it truly shouldn't matter. Twitter buzz is more important than ticket sales, since studios don't make singular movies anymore

The UK is economically collapsing and this will spread throughout the west. Once people realize that iphone contracts are draining their banks traditional media will return.

This has been building up over the last decade and the government is now recognizing it to pretend they're doing something. No one can afford houses while the borders are as open as ever. Take your homosexualy strawman somewhere else, you're clearly not here for any intelligent discussion.

They do if you actually look beyond the 4 or 5 blockbusters that come out each year.

And any singular movie that becomes successful will have a forced sequel after twitter praises it enough

It's fine since you're just copying content and most people who make a decent wage just buy the content anyway. All the most pirated movies are directly in line with the movies that made the most money.

That dudnt stop israelites from moving heaven and earth to stop pirates. Kbowibg that we can watch stuff for free makes them lose sleep. Imagine if they got 1 shekel for every download?

I'm not surprised because that anti-piracy propaganda ad was unskippable on DVDs. People who torrented their movies didn't have to watch it.

how did they get away with this ?

      >how did they get away with this ?
British copyright law used to require copyrighted works to actually be available for sale, for the copyright to be enforceable.
The usual method to get around this, was to have a small number of copies made and available for sale, but at a very high price, few people would pay.
If a work was unavailable for sale by the copyright holder or their agents, anybody could print the item.
Russia may have something similar in their laws, given the Communist past.
      Also,
How likely is it that anybody in the US is going to try to sue a theater owner in Russia?
Maybe when the war is over, but the theater could probably just dissolve itself, and reform under a different corporate owner on paper, and there would be little Hollywood studios could do.
This is the reason foreign film rights are likely sold outright.
It’s much easier to take money upfront, and let some theater owner and DVD distributor in Kazakhstan collect any royalties in that country.

I will NEVER contribute a single god damn dollar to ~~*studios*~~ in hollywood, I have not been to a movie theater since I was almost two decades that won't be changing anytime soon. I want the entire industry of pedo dreidel spinners to die. Hell even the majority of shit I pirate isn't even worth finishing, let alone storing and recommending to others.
