The party in the first few episodes had Sydney freaking out while in a bathroom for 15min straight because omg her best friend is knocking on the door to take a piss and she somehow can't stop fricking her besties ex. Then it is her lying in a tub "acting" because how bad would it be if they heard her like omg. Hunter who gets mad at Zendaya because she was jealous and scared Zendaya was fricking some random dude and who ended up fricking him herself.
Adding:
The total humiliation and de-construction of the "villain" of S1, a guy who kept his shit together throughout S1 and who filmed himself fricking underage jailbait was turned into a clown because oh no he's gay and he didn't get to live that life cause he had knocked his now-wife up. It was a horrible excuse to create sympathy for a guy who had a massive collection of him having sex with men and using that as blackmail. His son suddenly turning into this professional and emotionless Bateman character who ends up playing 4D chess was equally as stupid.
And the ending with the shootout was just over the top, the writers forgot all about their comatose grandma while this was going on, they just wanted to end with a bang. Zendaya not being a bawd like the others is considered a-sexual because the norm is that everyone has sex all the time with everyone, they even mention that which is messed up. In the end everyone ended exactly the same way S1 began. Nothing changed.
