Wanted movie adaption, chick based on Halle Berry was played by Angelina Jolie. OP neglected to mention about the only similarity the movie had with the comic was the name
I really hate how they changed wanted. the comic was a fun shitpost of a thing like most Miller comics. People who thought it was too edgy missed the point.
There was no point in even making it changing that much. The whole point is supervillains made the world awful. Changing it reeks of the same insecurity as making Galactus a cloud.
There was a Tekken movie? I remember a DOA that I didn't watch because I thought "no those breasts need to be way bigger, also more ass"
Also Chun Li, Bison was a Scot who looked nothing like Bison, Vega looked like Blanka, and Chun Li was Hapa Lang.
- Wokeness wasn't as en vouge in the early days of social media.
- Practically nobody reads comics outside the Big 2.
- Of those that have read source material, very few of them would've found it to be outrage-worthy.
I was more pissy that it looked nothing like the comics, but I was also currently cumming buckets to Jolie so I probably didn't direct any at her or her characer though could've use more titty.
Gonna need you to give me more details anon

Also she looks almost identical to the chick on the book
The movie barely resembles the comic beyond the main character being the son of a previous big shot

A direct adaption would have been utterly moronic. The secret assassins plot was a decent salvage

This was before capeshit was top dog, people would have balked at the thought of watching a movie with costumed morons being hammy evil villains
It takes a more interesting outlandish concept and makes it a lot less fun.Order of mystic assassins just feels like it should be a different movie.
Grimy was a scifi writer before penning Dragon Rapers.
Speak for yourself
I was looking forward to Adam West and Burt Ward getting eaten by sharks or whatever, but now we'll never have that
They mixed it up. Curacao was always the Black while Sector was supposed to be asiab
Am I suppose to see a difference

Christie is Brazilian and her main fighting style was taught by her dad and it originated from African slaves.
About the only thing the movie had in common with the comic were the cheating girlfriend/douchebag friend
