Adventure Time paved the way and peaked the hardest culturally but crashed and burned
Regular Show did trail off but its later seasons were more victory lap than anything.
Early Steven Universe figuring things out with the fandom is an unmatched golden age. Sadly Sugar had to end the show three different times leading to narrative whiplash worse than Futurama's million endings
Gumball at its best goes toe to toe with the likes of South Park and Venture Bros. for sheer quality, plus people never expected much so it never let down
Overall Adventure Time had the hardest fall, from pop culture icon to a show I would not show my kids.
Steven Universe at its peak had the most potential and hypest fanbase
Regular Show and Gumball are both great shows that will hold up for a long time, but they are the middle "safe" shows in this contest
AT was legit kino and at some point it became painfully unwatchable, so I'm going to say AT for both. Even for the better prime part even though it's not even my favorite show of those four.
Dad's Dungeon is the one that Cinemaphile used to usually give, though I haven't seen it brought up as much recently. I imagine Mortal Folly, What Was Missing, and I Remember You would be strong contenders. My personal favorite is Another Way.
How can anybody stand to look at Gumball's art style?
Characters like the Wattersons look like melted wax and stuff like the stop motion shit is just there for cheap flavor to say "LOOK GUYS WE'RE DIFFERENT". There's nothing good about it.
Are you defining prime by show quality? Fanbase size? Hot Topic merch?
Show quality because if not Adventure Time's prime in popularity would mog all of them.
AT still wins.
SU with the biggest prime then, given the post-Jailbreak hype
AT with the biggest fall
Gumball had the best quality and AT had the worst fall.
>these shows
>CN Renaissance
SU never had a height from which to fall off of.
SU never had a height and yet fell off way too hard
AT didn't know what to do, gumball being meta and SU advancing too slow.
Regular show remain consistent
SU's Jailbreak peak still clears AT
Prime SU had the best action and coolest plot but Prime AT was the funniest followed closely by Prime Gumball
SU is unironically the best out of the 4 but brought down hard by LGBTQIA+∞ propaganda and inept show runners
>CN Renaissance
Picture not related?
>best
Regular Show
>worst
Not Regular Show

I enjoyed Regular Show the most but I gotta say Adventure Time on both counts
>CN Renaissance
Shut da fuck up
People in an industry who don't even bother to learn how to draw don't get to talk about Renaissances
AT was legit kino and at some point it became painfully unwatchable, so I'm going to say AT for both. Even for the better prime part even though it's not even my favorite show of those four.
SU had the best prime, season 1-3 were genuine kino. Regular Show had the worst fall off.
>better prime
Gumball
>worse fall-off
Steven universe
What episode would you consider "prime" AT?
Dad's Dungeon is the one that Cinemaphile used to usually give, though I haven't seen it brought up as much recently. I imagine Mortal Folly, What Was Missing, and I Remember You would be strong contenders. My personal favorite is Another Way.
Gumball was only good before the art switch
EVERY SHOW IN THIS IMAGE SUCKS
But one of them literally led to the world being the awful way that it is now so probably Steven Universe is the worst
How can anybody stand to look at Gumball's art style?
Characters like the Wattersons look like melted wax and stuff like the stop motion shit is just there for cheap flavor to say "LOOK GUYS WE'RE DIFFERENT". There's nothing good about it.
It's more experimental than those 3 other shows. Possibly more than any cartoon in the last decade except maybe Arcane
Comparing peaks I'd personally give it to AT. I'd also give it the worst fall off.
I miss hanna barbera reruns.
