There's that one german movie I saw in the 90's on television but I can't remember the name. As an ex junkie, I was impressed how truthful to reality it was. But the point of my post is don't watch american movies about drugs, even trainspotting. Even tho they're mostly good movies, they don't depict the harsch reality of being a junkie AT ALL.
How do you do heroin once a month? I've just always been curious about that, the general idea is that is impossible but I don't know a lot about that.

I've taken ""molly"" like 7 times in my life and the only time I enjoyed it was when I took a slightly smaller dose than normal and also left after 40 minutes to hang out alone in the privacy of my own house. One time I ended up secluding myself in a bathroom sweating like a pig (probably some dodgy research chemical meth shit) and every other time I had to go outside and be alone in the cold night air because euphoria slowly gave way to anxiety and it peaked hard like a bad trip from rolling in the presence of others.
Bummer. I would advise a few things
(1) always test it, don’t buy or consume if it’s cut
(2) don’t take when you’re already in a bad headspace, it acts like an amplifier
(3) don’t take more than 150mg at once, preferably 100mg

MDMA about 4-5x per year. Feels great and it makes me less autistic.
