      There's zero reason this should've been any good. It eventually devolves into the network schlock it should've been, but Miller manages miracles for a few seasons before that.

      Which is the best Sherlock adaptation?

      Then left, then right.

      There's zero reason this should've been any good. It eventually devolves into the network schlock it should've been, but Miller manages miracles for a few seasons before that.

      It only starts going down a bit after Watson rises to Holmes' level as a detective and moreso around the end of season 5. The latter because around that time the network wasn't sure if they would get renewed for season 6 and even in 6 they weren't sure if they would get a season 7. So they started writing in soft endings that went nowhere.

      Why is Sherlocke holmes roided out? Isn't it set during a time when everyone was starving?

    Right. Funny how a Summer blockbuster was more able to more faithfully capture the spirit of Sherlock Holmes. It's also absolute kino, the gold standard for Summer blockbusters. The BBC show is pure Reddit cringe.

      It's obviously based on Sherlock Holmes, but who's Irene Adler?

        An Irene Adler appears in the series as a patient. Moriarty also appears and shoots House.

      Gonna go with this when it comes to contemporary renditions.

      The Ritchie movies have their moments. Cumberbatch version is watcheable until end of S2. Then things get very very bad.
      >can't defeat guy intellectually
      >shoot him in the head

      And later;
      >have an even more smarter sister
      >she controls people with her voice
      Get fricked and die whoever wrote that trash

        He acts well, but had a shit script to work with. It's ironic that RDJ was both the better Holmes and the better lead in the MCU.

          There's nothing ironic about that. He's always been a great actor. I don't think Guy Ritchie was a good choice for director however. His style clashes with the tone.

    Right manages to get Holmes slightly better than left. It also has less pozzed shit in it, so that's a plus.
