Naw. Anxiety disorders and panoc attacks are diffetent from being svhizo. Though I can see scizos having them when their delusions and halicinations get bad.
As someone with anxiety and occasional panic attacks, I donxt give a shit about this representation shit. I do want rwalistic depictionsnif they do jave them, but makin an issue of it seems cheap and allost like a weird fetiishization of itndor diversity points.
>Panic Attacks are a figment if the liberal media in an attempt to cover up schizophrenia
No its definitely real but most of these people probably just have anxiety.
i assume "fun" to animate, and a way for challenge-seeking animators to demonstrate a flurry of exaggerated emotions. its still pretty frickin gay though
it's really easy to realize what's happening. cartoons and kid shit are all about exaggerating emotions so children can empathize with their undeveloped emotional center. a lot of adults aren't actually mature emotionally and thus stick to kid shit into their 20s and even 30s
It's social victim points and an excuse to enslave oneself to big pharma meds for people that otherwise have no minority group to latch onto. Predominantly onions-infused white men.
>implying females need a medical condition to have a get out of jail free card
You're just double underlining why it's always MCU/Star Wars types with thick rimmed glasses and medium length beards.
guess what type of person has been saturating the entertainment industry past 10 to 15 years
I'm convinced this shit results in a negative feedback loop. If you constantly believe yourself to be in anxiety or panic your brain is eventually going to see it as reality
at the very least it'll normalize it so it becomes meaningless, now a bit of anxiety is now considered a panic attack
as someone who actually gets panic attacks, it fricking sucks but you can usually remain composed enough as an adult to go home/to the car/to a restroom and then ride it out.
they're being a bit dramatic because cartoons are supposed to be dramatic and over emote.
had a couple when i was a teen but they went away. then when i was 32 i got really sick, and ever since then had them pretty regularly, usually at least a handful a month, sometimes a lot more. they usually come on unprovoked
Ty for your honesty was arguing with an anon earlier about this topic ITT.
you mean white women
they are fetishizing mental illness
nope it’s females making these movies and they are obsessed with panic attacks because it’s a get out of jail free card
I've heard at least two dozen women complain of anxiety irl, but never once of panic attacks. Meanwhile 3 out of 4 of my SSRI-head (male) friends never shut the frick up about them.

that's because of the slow breathing but you can just do that without a ciggie it turns out. just suck on a pen or literally close your own throat by going KHH as you breath in. Fight or flight mode: deactivated
I used to have really bad panic attacks because some homosexual doctor prescribed me something and I had a bad reaction to it. It took literally years before they went away. I lost multiple jobs because of it.
I don't think anyone at Disney knows what a real panic attack is like. You literally feel like you want to rip your skin off and you're about to have a heart attack.
Liberals think they're having a panic attack ANY time they feel even remotely stressed and nervous.
It's prime sympathy-seeking behavior for social media.
Oh they do exist and they are pretty fricking awfull to go through. It isnt as scary when you yourself know what it is, it's just really physically uncomfortable.
It's not painful, it's maximum uncomfortability, turned up to 11. That's the best way I can describe it. You feel like you cant breathe, you feel like someones standing on your chest, your body is fidgiting like you've done 10 lines of coke and your mind is going a thousand miles an hour. Your body is just dumping a months worth of adrenaline and cortesol all at once.
That said, I dont understand why this shit has to be in movies. It's such a happenstance experience in most peoples lives and rates of anxiety and depression are highly exagerated because people dont know the difference between stress and anxiety and being sad, unmotivated and depression. Doctors barely know either so they just say "yup, you got depression, heres some pills, give me that insurance money and gtfo of my office"
But victim mentality is "hot stuff" these days where everyone has "trauma", which we used to call "just some sad shit that happened when I was a kid". Trauma is watching your dad walk around with a shotgun, threatening to kill you and the entire family or watching someone burn alive in a car crash. It's experiencing something so extreme that it permanently fricks your brain up.
>your body is fidgiting like you've done 10 lines of coke
It's telling that in explaining what a panic attack is like you expect people to know what that feels like
Well your body goes full fight or flight mode for some percieved threat to your life that isnt there. Your brain goes "DANGER DANGER YOU'RE GONNA DIE DANGER DANGER!" and dumps a whole lot of adrenaline and cortesol into your system, meant for you to run away from the percieved threat. But you're usually just fricking confused because you cant see any threat and you have all this surplus energy all of the sudden that goes nowhere.
Ever been in a car crash? Ever fallen off your bike at high speeds? You know that "Oh frick" feeling that you feel for a brief moment before you actually crash or hit the ground. It's that on repeat in a feedback loop so it just gets stronger and stronger over the course of 10-20 minutes untill your body runs out of adrenaline.
Perhaps I was too subtle. I'm insinuating that the venn diagram of people who have had """panic attacks""" and people who have drug/mental problems is a circle. >It's that on repeat in a feedback loop so it just gets stronger and stronger over the course of 10-20 minutes untill your body runs out of adrenaline
Skill issue. Literally just get over it and move on with your day.
I've had them, but it is weird to see media focus on it so much. It feels like kid in the wheelchair tokenism. This is a new trendy disabled group Hollywood has latched onto in some bullshit Diverisity Quest.
Same reason vitiligo is the visual go to for representation. Easy, empty gesture that ticks the box.
Same. I'm not convinced they exist.
I used to think they were fake bullshit too until I experienced one and felt like I was dying. Repeat high stress events can trigger one even if you are used to them.
>and felt like I was dying.
same. I was taken to hospital because I thought so too. the crushing pain in my chest, the tingling in my left arm etc. all real, my blood pressure also dropped real low.
I've had one before. It was when I was being overwhelmed with work and my life at the same time. I thought I was about to get fired no matter how well I did on the job. I was also sacrificing my life necessities like cleaning and doing chores to do well at work. It was like I was being punished for my sacrifices. It was awful. I did get better after taking a moment to try to relax and accept whatever happens happens. I also learned to not sacrifice myself like that again becuase my life is my life and work is just a part of it.
In my life I have only met a single trans person.
YET IN THE MEDIA THEY ARE EVERYWHERE AND IF I SAY THIS OUT LOUD I'LL GET ARRESTED FOR BEING A NOTICING MOSTER
A chick in my middle school class had a panic attack because she wrote erotic fanfiction about a classmate and we found out and started putting memes in the comment section. I still feel a bit bad about it
store manager here. i'm constantly out of breathe and can't think straight at work, especially during this big remodel (both building and staff) we're going through. i thought panic attacks were a meme until i became 30, then i started getting these randomly. still gay as frick how animation is doing this, but i wish i had a better way to cope with this "anxiety" i have
That's the neat part, you don't. But for real though, a heart attack is painful as frick, at least if you're a guy. There's no such pain with a panic attack
I did feel pain, dunno why but my chest hurt. I had anxiety attacks almost every day but that was the first time it went that far so I thought I was dying for real. But it was nothing.
Everyone ITT is moronic. Its literally just a hyperactive fight or flight response. My mom had it, I have it, its a genetic attribute. Evolution tries shit, and for this one it tried taking our normal survival instincts and cranking them to 11, but its plum fricking useless in a first world country like America so you sit there and worry about inane basic shit with the same mental intensity as trying to survive a bear attack. That's it. No psychosocial frickery, no uncles touching anybody as a kid, no traumatic experiences. Just wrong genes wrong time.
Easy. >your mom sat around crying about her """panic attacks""" that "run in the family" >you blindly accepted this as part of your identity and now get mad at strangers who suggest that you're choosing to be melodramatic over exercising self-control like a normal person

You can have a heart attack without it being a chest-clutching "OH FRICK I'M DYING" moment, ignoring minor heart troubles and leaving them untreated is the best way to set yourself up for a major one.

Hollywood makes them out to be like heart attacks, in reality most of the time the person panic quietly and then wanders off to cry or text someone about it.
I had a panic attack a funeral because this really nice guy had died and everyone at the funeral who had treated him like absolute shit, including his ex girlfriend was suddenly acting like they loved him and everything was wonderful between them.
I started getting angry and then I couldn't do anything about it without disrupting a funeral so my brain started racing and I had to step outside for air.
I think I had one when I was in high school and it was so fricking embarrassing. My family still makes fun of me. However, apparently it's quirky and unique to have panic attacks. Many female friends of mine flex on that and are really proud
Got a buddy who used to get them all the time. Have had one or two myself too. They're not fun. It's like your fight or flight response going haywire with nothing triggering it. >why is this so over represented in media
I'm not sure it is. I think it's a deeper symptom of an ever sickening society. Humans are not meant to be living the way we are. Instead of changing how we live or fixing our societal ills we just pop pills or self medicate. American has become Weimar 2.0 before my eyes. The "over diagnosis" of all these mental health issues stem from that.
It's one of the most terrifying experiences you can have. You legitimately feel like you're going to drop dead at any second. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
If they make people more insecure about themselves, then they can influence them to vote for people that will supposedly help them to feel less insecure. > Groom children through media to become trans >Bombard them from all sides with gender identity politics > Convince them their parents are evil conservative monsters > Thus coercing them to feel pressured to vote for a candidate or regime that will supposedly make them feel secure again
It's Godless and despicable.
i think it's less demoralisation and more so "the actors are like 70 but we want another sequel"

Yeah, that's the thing that sucks about trope subversion, we have gotten to the point where it's been going on for so long that it's become the norm, and as a result younger audiences have only ever been exposed to the trope subversions so they aren't aware that they're tropes that are being subverted in the first place, like watching Shrek without ever having watched a classic disney movie beforehand.
Funny. I posted that pic in another thread ealier. Postmodernism and drconstruction has been the norm for so long, Hollywood really is running out of things tontear down.
If you want new good movies, you should be celebrating that Hollywood is going out of its way to destroy nostalgia-pandering by making people hate it.
Why is hollywood trying to convince kids that it's completely normal to watch their loved ones clutch their chests in pain and breathe heavily like they're having a heart attack?
I'm convinced this shit results in a negative feedback loop. If you constantly believe yourself to be in anxiety or panic your brain is eventually going to see it as reality
Congrats you now understand modern psychiatric medicine. None of the studies are replicatable and none of the medicines are better than their placebo counterparts. Yeah for most people. 99% of people should’ve been happy as a dirt farming peasant with a fat wife. Although some people do have fricked up brains chemically speaking. I’m one of those people and it’s ironic how little I’m able to relate to other people who supposedly have my same conditions these days because they absolutely don’t seem to have my condition and the whole medical establishment is now aligned toward treating these lucrative posers.

It's possible that it was also a plot to get the soviet military and political elite to beg for him to return to lead. His idol, Ivan the Terrible also pretended to abdicate so that the boyars begged him to return, after which he formed his secret police, the oprichniks. But Barbarossa most likely shook Stalin badly.
>remember goychild to have your daily "panic attack"!! and if you dont know how to have one, here's our latest child's cartoon self-insert character to set an example of how to have debilitating "panic attacks", easily cured by pills (brought to you by Science™) that you'll need to get from your local rabb...i mean psychiatrist!
No, there isn’t any “Realistic depiction of a panic attack” scene in the movie. This is just the same as that bullshit rumor about Riley being a lesbian. It’s just butthurt terminally online right wingers making up imaginary things and then getting angry at the imaginary things they made up
How do you figure you’re going to be able to successfully spread a fake rumor about a scene that doesn’t exist in what very well may be the most viewed movie in the world this year? Lmao everybody has seen it. They know there is no panic attack scene.
it’s literally in the movie and somebody posted the webm the other day and it got like 30 replies shitting on it before the thread was deleted lol
i can’t wait for you to see what everybody thinks of it haha hehe lol
>Why would any right winger be mad over a movie featuring a panic attack?
They’re making up this fake scene that doesn’t exist in an effort to try and make it seem like the movie inappropriate for kids or something. Except again the problem is basically everyone in the world already saw it, so they know it’s not true. It’s like if you tried to start a rumor that there was a sex scene in The Wizard of Oz or something. You’re not going to get very far, because basically everyone in the entire world has seen it and knows that’s not true
>the movie has a literal panic attack scene
So post it. There’s been a camrip of the movie since Friday when it premiered.
You won’t because you can’t, and you can’t because it doesn’t exist. It’s something terminally online right wing schizos made up to try and discredit the movie
i won’t post it because i didn’t save it but watching you cope like a moron is nice
i’m sure when it’s posted you’re say >ummmm it’s nothing chuds who cares
like a raped b***h
That's a very good question, and the answer is that they actively seek out things to get mad at and try to tie it into a grand anti-woke narrative about how kids are too soft nowadays or how it's somehow glorifying mental illness or whatever. They can't let things exist in their own right, there always has to be some sinister agenda at play. And if they stopped being mad at things they would have nothing to fill their lives with, and the outrage merchants/grifters would get less attention and money.
To be fair to the RW outrage mongers like Matt Walsh, Some Disney executive is on video bragging about how she puts as many gay characters into Disney content as she can get away with.
>any time someone is mad he has to be a "right winger"
Last time I've checked it's always lefties who piss and shit themselves in anger over literally everything.
Yeah. Also, the movie came out a few months later after the originator of the panic attack trend Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. Do these people know how long it takes to make an animated movie, render it all and have it ready for theatrical release? They only way they could copy it is if they saw it behind-the-scenes. Sure they are both under Universal Pictures but they were both done by different divisions of it: Dreamworks and Illumination. It's possible but highly doubtful. Now, That new Spider-Man short with Miles definitely was following the panic attack trend as well as Inside Out 2. They had enough time to put it in or enhance the seriousness of it after Puss in Boots success.
>following the panic attack trend as well as Inside Out 2.
Except there literally is no panic attack scene in Inside Out 2. This entire thread is about a made up imaginary scene that doesn’t exist

It's been like this a long time, but I think it's flaring up recently because the US presidential election is coming up.
Basically /misc/ has become so toxic and shit that even the /misc/tards cant stand it anymore so they've started to mass exodus to more popular boards.
Cinemaphile has it bad too, with about 1/10 threads being /misc/ bait or rage threads.
There's a scene in a later season of the last kingdom where the king has his sons kidnapped by his enemies and they threaten to kill them and he goes back into his tent and basically has a panic attack and almost faints. It was pretty well acted. Season 3, Episode 10, the King Edward played by Timothy Innes.
Panic attack is a psyop. People is dying every day because doctors said them that they are having a panic attack when they probably has a terminal sickness. >Doctor, I can't breath >It's a panic attack, son >Doctor, I have a pain in my chest >It's a panic attack, son >Doctor, I h-ACK
if you admit with chest pain they almost always draw blood and are able to run blood tests for heart stress. they'll also often run an EKG and chest x-ray as standard.
as someone who admits to the ER 3-4/year, thats at least how it works in my state
As someone who has had constant panic attacks thanks to depersonalization since I was 14, the dog on the bottom right is the closest. You just gotta close your eyes, breathe and try to let it go
I don't believe you. I had a panic attack once when I was in high school and I genuinely thought for years that I'd had a nervous breakdown. Went catatonic, they called an ambulance on me
>Hollywood >"Everyone is like us!" > "Give us your money for showing us stuff you surely go through as well!"
The one in Inside Out 2 made sense. She had stressed herself out over thinking that a single match would determine her entire future, and she hadn't slept, and she had been physically exerting herself. Obviously the movie made a big deal out of it because it's about her mental state, but it probably lasted no more than a minute or two.
idk why people get mad about these sorts of scenes. Who cares about some clickbait headlines?
this. real life panic attacks aren't much to see. and in certain situations, they're fricking normal because you're supposed to go into life or death mode if you're that stressed out.
i had three in a row while taking off during a storm last summer and no one could tell anything was happening to me, you just go quiet and breath it out and distract yourself until it's over.

What I fear is that normalizing this for children will just have them claiming to have le realistic panic attacks anytime something unpleasant happens which will make their parents hook them on even more meds.
>What I fear is that normalizing this for children will just have them claiming to have le realistic panic attacks anytime something unpleasant happens which will make their parents hook them on even more meds.
Big pharma wins again.
There are no such things as panic attacks.
It's actually just people convince themselves they are in such a sire situation due to whatever that they subconsciously cause their own brains to act out what they think a "panic attack" involves, mainly short rapid breathing and chest "pain" with a bombardment of negative thoughts.
It quite literally is "all in their head".
I had one when I was 9 and I never heard of it before.
I can consciously make my heart rate go fast by doing the exact shit people having uncontrollable "panic attacks" claim.
It's more like a mental illness than anything else.
Yeah and panic attacks are when those feedback loops initiate without your control
A voluntary process happening involuntarily is usually a sign for concern, like people who urinate randomly
>There's no such thing as dying >it's actually people just convincing themselves that their organs are failing and due to whatever they subconsciously think it will cause their brains to act out death
Why did everyone all at once get the idea that this was something people needed to see? I think it's because they themselves were sufferers of a traumatic event and wanted to share that experience.
I dislike that the media is pushing the normalization that kids can even have panic attacks. For Christ sake, youre 13 years old you have absolutley NOTHING to panic about in your trivial life. Its just another example of the pussification of the modern american citizen by the media (aka israelites). They want us scared, cucked, and paying more money for less product.
It’s a major plot point that Will Smith keeps having panic attacks during action scenes, while the previously worrisome Martin Lawrence believes he can’t die and runs around hipfiring and max payne diving
One panic attack freezes Will so badly that Martin needs to slap him in the face hard repeatedly to snap him out of it
I liked the movie btw. Relatively unpozzed. Reggie going John wick stole the show
>the previously worrisome Martin Lawrence believes he can’t die and runs around hipfiring and max payne diving
Ok fair play to them that's a pretty funny inversion
Straight white male here. I've had two panic attacks ever. Once as a kid when I walked my full body into a giant cactus bush and I had prickers all over my body. Basically felt my legs lose strength and the color started draining out of my vision. Maybe that was passing out though. Had another one related to money once as an adult. With that one my chest got slightly tight and my vision started going black and I started to breathe more quickly. Had to sit down in a chair for like a minute to stop it. Overall, they were actually kind of fun and memorable experiences looking back on it.
Panic Attack in Puss was really well done. The Mario scene was also good but I think that was less of a "panic attack" and more of "hiding in terror from a fire breathing dragon who just beat the every loving shit out of him"
Only women and gays suffer from panic attacks. If you're not a woman and you have a panic attack then you're a wiener munching homosexual
t. psychiatry student
i've only had one and it was accompanied by severe hyperventilation which caused my entire body to get excruciatingly painful pins and needles, my arms/legs went completely numb and my jaw clenched so hard i cracked a tooth
my mind felt serenely calm and entirely detached from my body which i no longer had any control over
was an interesting experience to be honest
Not that anon but it's not at all memorable and has as many cuts as live-action fight sequences do.
In live-action you do a lot of cuts because you record lots of takes from different angles and put together the best ones (and try to hide when things look crappy), in animation you have absolute control so there's no good reason for things to look so choppy.

It just occurred to me how bizarre it was to have the climactic end battle take place in a fricking city street like it was Avengers slop. It's Super Mario. The final battle happens in the Koopa Castle. Every time. Always.
>character who thought he was immortal and acted as if he was is confronted with actual mortal fear for his life for the first time and has a freakout, as well as spending the whole film fleeing from it
I don't know why Puss in Boots is attacked for it, it was a good part of the film to give him some development
Don had a panic attack when he mistakenly thought he had been found out by the government on Mad Men, that was treated realistically with him unable to catch his breath or stop his heart hammering.
>One movie shows a panic attack >"Cool" >A few more movies show panic attacks >"Noooooo why are they forcing it in everything now, it's such an overused trope"
>character in film has a realistic reaction in keeping with his arc during the story and following on from previous scenes >this means to be acclaimed, we need more panic attack scenes
As always, context is lost in imitation.
Any so-called adult who still watches programming intended for single-digit children deserves to have their head caved in. The only exception is if they themselves have children, and occasionally sit down with their kids to watch it.
I’ve had them before and I do not care to see them realistically depicted on screen. Who the frick cares? Just pandering to teenage girls who're obsessed with having “anxiety”
They real. I had one when my dad was dying of cancer.
It basically feels like you can't breath and your entire body is under this intense pressure. There's nothing you can do when you're having one except wait for it to pass. Its involuntary like a sneezing fit or something.
Having had panic attacks my whole life, it's weird seeing discourse on them. How they are portrayed incorrectly, how people fake them for attention, how in reality when you get one unless that person knows and dealt with them before will have no idea what to do and probably just make fun of you because you are a "freak". Just strange.
>see a tiger >body releases adrenaline >heart rate and body temperature spike >reaction time and pain sensitivity go down >begin to hyperventilate to flush muscles with o2 >fight or flight begins
Its a completely normal evolutionary response.
Now let's take the human out of the ancestral environment and see what happens.
>human is in a massively stressful situation with no solution >exact same chain of autonomic reactions takes place >fight or flight doesn't initiate because you can't escape or fight life circumstances. >panic attack
Like most weird shit in human behavior it comes down to evolutionary holdovers.
I mean it's 'fight or flight or freeze' (some other attempts at adding 'fawn' etc.).
If you get the 'deer in headlights' effect when a threat comes at you, you're fricked. Panic attacks serve no purpose. They're purely detrimental like an allergy.
he's saying some situations don't have a threat coming at you and you just get overwhelmed by stress with nothing to fight or flee from moron

Yet there are people who don't get the latter response. If your body undergoes those same processes when there's not a threat, or there IS a threat and you shut down, your brain is broken. It's like how we all have a blind spot. Except panic attacks only happen to some people.

or maybe you're sheltered and you've never been in a situation which can cause it and you're attributing your mental fortitude to simply never having been tested
there are definitely hysterical morons who think any sensation of anxiety is a panic attack but real panic comes as an involuntary creeping sensation you have to fight hard to prevent overwhelming you
The Sopranos did it more realistically than any of those but if I had to pick one of the four Puss in Boots' actually made sense because he's scared of the fact he is literally being pursued by death. The entity that destroyed his bravado by being the first to hurt and defeat him.
I love biblically accurate panic attacks
underrated post
BE NOT AFRAID
Panic Attacks are a figment if the liberal media in an attempt to cover up schizophrenia
Don't lump us schizophrenics with libshits
No its definitely real but most of these people probably just have anxiety.
in my life i have only ever once seen one person have a panic attack
why is this so over represented in media
i assume "fun" to animate, and a way for challenge-seeking animators to demonstrate a flurry of exaggerated emotions. its still pretty frickin gay though
it's really easy to realize what's happening. cartoons and kid shit are all about exaggerating emotions so children can empathize with their undeveloped emotional center. a lot of adults aren't actually mature emotionally and thus stick to kid shit into their 20s and even 30s
believe it or not there's a decent overlap between the 'adults who still watch cartoons' crowd and the 'adults with mental illness' demographic
It's social victim points and an excuse to enslave oneself to big pharma meds for people that otherwise have no minority group to latch onto. Predominantly onions-infused white men.
you mean white women
they are fetishizing mental illness
White women take generalized anxiety meds and antidepressants. Basedbeards are the only ones that complain about panic attacks.
nope it’s females making these movies and they are obsessed with panic attacks because it’s a get out of jail free card
>implying females need a medical condition to have a get out of jail free card
You're just double underlining why it's always MCU/Star Wars types with thick rimmed glasses and medium length beards.
Women have a victim complex
I want you to be wary of saying hurtful shit like "It's ok to be white" chudcel, it might make me convulse and draw a crowd
LMFAO
guess what type of person has been saturating the entertainment industry past 10 to 15 years
at the very least it'll normalize it so it becomes meaningless, now a bit of anxiety is now considered a panic attack
Mentally ill people are drawn to "art" because they're too weak for physical labor and too stupid for anything else.
>t. NEET
Anxiety is the number one fake illness for people at pill mills.
It’s the same as depression, everyone is diagnosed with it now so it means nothing.
as someone who actually gets panic attacks, it fricking sucks but you can usually remain composed enough as an adult to go home/to the car/to a restroom and then ride it out.
they're being a bit dramatic because cartoons are supposed to be dramatic and over emote.
What sex and race are you? Need to know for science (literally).
white israeli female (male)
35yo white male.
had a couple when i was a teen but they went away. then when i was 32 i got really sick, and ever since then had them pretty regularly, usually at least a handful a month, sometimes a lot more. they usually come on unprovoked
Ty for your honesty was arguing with an anon earlier about this topic ITT.
I've heard at least two dozen women complain of anxiety irl, but never once of panic attacks. Meanwhile 3 out of 4 of my SSRI-head (male) friends never shut the frick up about them.
You need to start smoking cigarettes as soon as possible.
hahaha, absolutely not. as someone who has 5 aunts and uncles who are currently dying of smoking related complications, no thankyou
It will cure your condition moron.
nta but cigarettes give me anxiety and make me shake and get dizzy and have to shit like i just chugged a gallon of black coffee
>will cure your condition
that's because of the slow breathing but you can just do that without a ciggie it turns out. just suck on a pen or literally close your own throat by going KHH as you breath in. Fight or flight mode: deactivated
Just take magnesium or something, your sickness probably drained all your mineral stores
He just needs to learn an instrument to rebalance his sacral chakra.
zoomers have panic attacks over likes and retweets
I used to have really bad panic attacks because some homosexual doctor prescribed me something and I had a bad reaction to it. It took literally years before they went away. I lost multiple jobs because of it.
and now disney wants this for all kids
I don't think anyone at Disney knows what a real panic attack is like. You literally feel like you want to rip your skin off and you're about to have a heart attack.
Liberals think they're having a panic attack ANY time they feel even remotely stressed and nervous.
It's prime sympathy-seeking behavior for social media.
Same. I'm not convinced they exist.
I dunno, I'm just ranting now.
>your body is fidgiting like you've done 10 lines of coke
Yeah they are hell. During grad school, i would have them almost daily. Nightmarish period of my life
Lol didnt read
Have fun with your made up self inflicted mental illness lmao
I've had them, but it is weird to see media focus on it so much. It feels like kid in the wheelchair tokenism. This is a new trendy disabled group Hollywood has latched onto in some bullshit Diverisity Quest.
Same reason vitiligo is the visual go to for representation. Easy, empty gesture that ticks the box.
I also learned to not sacrifice myself like that again becuase my life is my life and work is just a part of it.
israeli and leftist writers. israelites are famously neurotic and leftists have extremely high rates of mental illness statistically
Had one when the people I was going with went to a gay bar lol.
millenials are sjws and neurotic at the same time
In my life I have only met a single trans person.
YET IN THE MEDIA THEY ARE EVERYWHERE AND IF I SAY THIS OUT LOUD I'LL GET ARRESTED FOR BEING A NOTICING MOSTER
Panic attacks are not always visible on the surface. I've had many in my time, not fun.
A chick in my middle school class had a panic attack because she wrote erotic fanfiction about a classmate and we found out and started putting memes in the comment section. I still feel a bit bad about it
store manager here. i'm constantly out of breathe and can't think straight at work, especially during this big remodel (both building and staff) we're going through. i thought panic attacks were a meme until i became 30, then i started getting these randomly. still gay as frick how animation is doing this, but i wish i had a better way to cope with this "anxiety" i have
>i wish i had a better way to cope with this "anxiety" i have
your pic related has the solution in his right hand
i'm doing that right now. i can't do this at work though, i'm an obnoxious alcoholic
Hit the gym homie. It'll be a pressure valve for the stress. DO NOT take any medicine for it
I think it's funny
>all these people who never had a panic attack
sociopathic normalgays really have invaded this place huh
young people think any sensation of anxiety is a panic attack
Millennial writers often get panic attacks when their funko pops don't arrive in time
women
Absolutely nothing happens in real life. Someone either goes quiet or they say one thing and then leave.
For some reason people expect a massive freakout in the middle of a supermarket, like an autistic tantrum. That's not a panic attack.
I thought I was dying and called and ambulance though
how can i tell the difference between a heart attack and my heart just beating very fast?
t. take a lot of stimulants/MDMA.
>My mom had it, I have it, its a genetic attribute
>That's it. No psychosocial frickery
Explain to me how a genetic trait passed through DNA is a product of environment.
Easy.
>your mom sat around crying about her """panic attacks""" that "run in the family"
>you blindly accepted this as part of your identity and now get mad at strangers who suggest that you're choosing to be melodramatic over exercising self-control like a normal person
>it's an anon writes random fanfiction about anonymous strangers he saw one post by episode
>double quoting
What's the matter? Did you heart start beating uncontrollably fast after getting read like book?
>a heart attack is painful as frick, at least if you're a guy
It's shit like this that gets people killed.
You can have a heart attack without it being a chest-clutching "OH FRICK I'M DYING" moment, ignoring minor heart troubles and leaving them untreated is the best way to set yourself up for a major one.
Dumb assuming homosexual. My mom never said anything about panic attacks or understood herself to be anything more than an extremely emotional person. Im the one asserting that she had panic attacks. Go the frick outside before you get permanently stuck as a cynical narcissistic basement goblin.
>Im the one asserting that she had panic attacks
After a lifetime of watching ~~*Hollywood media*~~ that told you you're a victim who needs ~~*anti-anxiety medication*~~?
My, what a coincidence!
It's really obvious you have a single image you try to force everything to relate to.
>It's really obvious you have a single image you try to force everything to relate to.
Just wait until you find out about people who diagnose their parents with panic attacks because they watched Puss in Boots 2
your fanfic isnt even good
youre trying too hard to troll
Stop projecting, anon.
Ever look back on something you thought was funny behavior at the time but realize that everyone was judging you poorly for it, that other members of your species genuinely found you lacking, then you feel shame and your face heats up? I'll save you some time, that is happening for you right now in this very moment.
Tldr; ratio

because most men who get real ones usually hide from anybody who knows them, and are on their feet during them.
>t. have one maybe once a year
i had one at an airport once, shit sucked. for whatever reason no employee gave a shit as i was puking, sweating and shaking by a garbage can. shit lasts like 10 minutes and you're good afterward
>I've never seen a person die, why is it so over represented in media?
false equlancy
That isn't a word.
you isn't a word
this, never seen anyone having sex, yet it's everywhere in the media
Name five.
Because the media industry is full of neurotic weirdos, and they're "writing what they know"
I think I had one when I was in high school and it was so fricking embarrassing.
It’s how lazy writers show that their boring plot has stakes.
Comas and amnesia are also really over represented. Its because it can be a fun trope for drama and developing characters. Its engaging.
But yeah morons irl often fake having panic attacks for attention, like people faking tourettes for attention or schizophrenia, etc etc
If they make people more insecure about themselves, then they can influence them to vote for people that will supposedly help them to feel less insecure.
> Groom children through media to become trans
>Bombard them from all sides with gender identity politics
> Convince them their parents are evil conservative monsters
> Thus coercing them to feel pressured to vote for a candidate or regime that will supposedly make them feel secure again
It's Godless and despicable.
>picrel
that sounds kino, honestly loved how characters like old snake played out but i never watched indiana jones 5 due to it looking like slop
it’s not kino because it only serves to intentionally desecrate and destroy the legacy of such beloved characters for demoralization purposes
yeah i hate to break it to you but i'm not from /misc/ and i don't hate israelites enough to entertain this drivel
a "hero becomes old and a failure" story can be done right, it's just these writers being ripped straight from eighth grade english classes
ok cool
that doesn’t change anything i said
i think it's less demoralisation and more so "the actors are like 70 but we want another sequel"
it's kinda common fricking sense but i forgot you people were pros at mental gymastics
actually ehhhhhh nah my opinion is common sense and umm actually? you’re using mental gymnastics
i don’t have to say why or how tho LMAO i’m just vaguely trying to justify political trends in youth media by omitting details and playing dumb HAHAHA i hope it works as well as my gender transition surgery (not at all)
okay, so "the writers are bad" is muuch crazier than "it is all a deep conspiracy to make us less likely to revolt" considering we're talking about LUKE FRICKING SKYWALKER
you /misc/tards are so disingenous and are about as fun to talk to as smashing your head into a brick wall
blah blah blah
the webm exists
the demoralization trend exists
you have no argument
cry forever loser
ywnbaw
In each of these movies, these sad white men are being replaced by inexplicably hypercompetent girlbosses
if you like that type of story, have you ever considered findom?
>it’s not kino because it only serves to intentionally desecrate and destroy the legacy of such beloved characters for demoralization purposes
oh, so you are the type of person that leftys are always making fun of, I thought they were making it up tbh
NTA but are you literally blind to the political activism underpinning everything in modern Hollywood?
it’s called playing dumb
it’s what liberals do while they wait for the government to kill you
OHHHHHHHH so you’re my strawman
you are silly
can’t refute you but i think this is doing something lol (i’m fricking moronic as shit)
holy frick go outside, you sound like a raving lunatic dying of a xanax overdose
>BARK BARK BARK BARK
what a convincing argument
>that doesn't happen and if it does happen it's really rare and if it isn't rare it's not a big deal and if it is a big deal then you've already lost and it's too late
i know that they know that we know what they are doing with every fricking post now
>new radicalizing schizo narrative just dropped
sweet, adding it to the library
>another thing i can’t argue against
sweet i hope you enjoy feeing confused and small
Funny. I posted that pic in another thread ealier. Postmodernism and drconstruction has been the norm for so long, Hollywood really is running out of things tontear down.
If you want new good movies, you should be celebrating that Hollywood is going out of its way to destroy nostalgia-pandering by making people hate it.
Amazing how this post made the beasts screech in anger
The headline is funny, the rest of the article just repeats the headline with more words.
So like a real article i guess
You know damn well that patrol officer got the vax
I thought BLM ACAB’d the dog to death.
>misconstruing an anxiety attack vs a panic attack
Why is hollywood trying to convince kids that it's completely normal to watch their loved ones clutch their chests in pain and breathe heavily like they're having a heart attack?
conditioning
kids who are anxious don’t fight back
easier to groom and traffic LOL
Covid vaccine adverse reactions
I want to see more movies with panic attacks.
Astartes, for example.
I'm convinced this shit results in a negative feedback loop. If you constantly believe yourself to be in anxiety or panic your brain is eventually going to see it as reality
Yup. Mind over matter's a thing.
WHICH IS THE ENTIRE POINT OF THE PSYOP
Congrats you now understand modern psychiatric medicine. None of the studies are replicatable and none of the medicines are better than their placebo counterparts. Exercising and getting a fricking life is still the only silver bullet to the natural negative responses to our fake and gay civilizations and cultures.
>If you constantly believe yourself to be in anxiety or panic your brain is eventually going to see it as reality
Just like thinking you're a woman, or that Cinemaphile is overrun by Indians and Chinese
2 of those arent even panic attacks you fricking moron. Let amone Puss In Boots was done well, I dont see how you could have such a terminslly online brain to think that was somehow done to offend you
typing so frantically he can’t even spell lo
omg they are figuring it out xister!!!
Mario wasn't having a panic attack. His arm got dislocated and he got away from the fight to have a breather.
Who gettin the best head?
the dog got a white woman on him, no question
Puss 100%
Puss is. He's getting his soul sucked.
Mario and Orange Thing are getting toothy blowjobs.
The dog just got a finger up the butt even after explicitly telling her not too.
Bored of the panic attack trend now.
>white people think being scared for a second is a medical condition
black people think reading is when you have to ring a bell twice
math is racist
me after one tiny hit of weed
The only panic attack I believe is when Stalin no call no showed for like a week after the Nazis invaded Russia
It's possible that it was also a plot to get the soviet military and political elite to beg for him to return to lead. His idol, Ivan the Terrible also pretended to abdicate so that the boyars begged him to return, after which he formed his secret police, the oprichniks. But Barbarossa most likely shook Stalin badly.
>zoomers when someone calls their phone instead of texting
>zoomers when they order fast food in the drive thru
>me when I project my own insecurities on others
>Blonde haired blue eyed girl with two brown haired brown eyed parents
Yeah, this guy is a cuck.
>you can inherit your grandparents eye color and hair color
I'm like a clone of my father but with a full head of hair and blue
Blond people can actually go brunette as they grow old and fricking ugly
t.
>remember goychild to have your daily "panic attack"!! and if you dont know how to have one, here's our latest child's cartoon self-insert character to set an example of how to have debilitating "panic attacks", easily cured by pills (brought to you by Science™) that you'll need to get from your local rabb...i mean psychiatrist!
Really makes you think
No, there isn’t any “Realistic depiction of a panic attack” scene in the movie. This is just the same as that bullshit rumor about Riley being a lesbian. It’s just butthurt terminally online right wingers making up imaginary things and then getting angry at the imaginary things they made up
it’s real and somebody posted it the other day
i’ll see if i saved it
How do you figure you’re going to be able to successfully spread a fake rumor about a scene that doesn’t exist in what very well may be the most viewed movie in the world this year? Lmao everybody has seen it. They know there is no panic attack scene.
Honestly what are you even trying to accomplish?
it’s literally in the movie and somebody posted the webm the other day and it got like 30 replies shitting on it before the thread was deleted lol
i can’t wait for you to see what everybody thinks of it haha hehe lol
My dad works at Nintendo dude, trust me
Why would any right winger be mad over a movie featuring a panic attack?
>Why would any right winger be mad over a movie featuring a panic attack?
They’re making up this fake scene that doesn’t exist in an effort to try and make it seem like the movie inappropriate for kids or something. Except again the problem is basically everyone in the world already saw it, so they know it’s not true. It’s like if you tried to start a rumor that there was a sex scene in The Wizard of Oz or something. You’re not going to get very far, because basically everyone in the entire world has seen it and knows that’s not true
the movie has a literal panic attack scene and you are shooting yourself in the programming sock sheathed foot
>the movie has a literal panic attack scene
So post it. There’s been a camrip of the movie since Friday when it premiered.
You won’t because you can’t, and you can’t because it doesn’t exist. It’s something terminally online right wing schizos made up to try and discredit the movie
i won’t post it because i didn’t save it but watching you cope like a moron is nice
i’m sure when it’s posted you’re say
>ummmm it’s nothing chuds who cares
like a raped b***h
That's a very good question, and the answer is that they actively seek out things to get mad at and try to tie it into a grand anti-woke narrative about how kids are too soft nowadays or how it's somehow glorifying mental illness or whatever. They can't let things exist in their own right, there always has to be some sinister agenda at play. And if they stopped being mad at things they would have nothing to fill their lives with, and the outrage merchants/grifters would get less attention and money.
LOL this thread has you people saying a scene in the movie DOESN’T FRICKING EXIST and you’re here spewing this bullshit
KILL
YOUR
SELF
PIECE OF SHIT
>movie I haven't seen has a scene I don't like in it!
>no it doesn't
>LIAAAAIRRRRR!!!
To be fair to the RW outrage mongers like Matt Walsh, Some Disney executive is on video bragging about how she puts as many gay characters into Disney content as she can get away with.
no it's real and it kinda has a 'get over it though' resolution
It's the fricking climax of the movie you dope
How long are they going to push the danger hair meme?
I saw some 60 year old woman with blue hair working at Walgreens
>any time someone is mad he has to be a "right winger"
Last time I've checked it's always lefties who piss and shit themselves in anger over literally everything.
Mario isn't having a panic attack. He's clutching his shoulder because he just got the shit kicked out of him by Bowser
No he had a heart attack after eating mushroom pizza
no no he's having a Vaxx Attaxx
This entire thread is about a made up imaginary scene that doesn’t exist
it exists
you’re going to have a nice day and cope when it’s posted
Chris Meledandri worked on both Puss in Boots 2 and the Mario Movie. He could have made emails during the production of both movies.
yes he is having a panic attack
Yeah! That shit is pretty scary. He then sees bowser pick up DK by the neck and says "no bananas where you're going nog!"
MARIO IS MY FAVORITE
End of Eva
>it’s another "/pol/trannies need to feel validated" episode
awww look it’s trannies first projection L
hey so i haven't been on this site in a while, when did v and tv become the dumping grounds of pol?? it was never THIS bad
you people didn’t have strong enough arguments or brains to stop us and we took over lol
Jews overestimated the effect of holocaust guilt on the younger generation and pushed too hard too fast and made the whole world into /misc/.
Another shitsksin spamming Cinemaphile and bringing up /misc/ out of nowhere thread.
Yawning on buddy.
Best thing about using slang is that shitskin esls dont understand it.
plural moron lmfao
so weird how multiple people don't like random weird threads about political shit on a board about fricking movies
lmfao i’m brown lmfao lmfao i’m brown lmfao
Maybe you should complain to the people using movies and television as political platforms instead of the people reacting to it? It's not like anyone here makes these constant controversial choices.
i hate to break it to you but if you just don't subject yourself to them you don't have to care
Almost like you don't have to subject yourself to this site or this thread.
not true but good job failing to hide your monstrous bias
good luck ever making a post that convinces anybody of anything other than becoming more racist sexist anti semetic and homophobic
>plural
Damn you fricking gays arent dead of stds and Black folk yet?
You need to get those numbers up youngblood.
>when did v and tv become the dumping grounds of pol??
Basically started around 2013 - 2016. People started spamming Twitter garbage and promoting culture wars, then GamerGate happened, then r/the_donald got deleted and all the election tourists came here. It wasn't one thing, it was a sequence.
It's been like this a long time, but I think it's flaring up recently because the US presidential election is coming up.
yeah it was much better back then when Cinemaphile was all generals and pokémon threads and Cinemaphile was full of pedo threads
or maybe you’re just losing
right when you came back, you should go away again to fix things
Turns out everything you think is "/pol/" is actually just normal people and leftypol trannies are giga mad to this day because of Gamergate.
Basically /misc/ has become so toxic and shit that even the /misc/tards cant stand it anymore so they've started to mass exodus to more popular boards.
Cinemaphile has it bad too, with about 1/10 threads being /misc/ bait or rage threads.
It's always been this way. Now it's /misc/, before it was /new/ and before that it was gb2stormfront. Extremists tend to flock towards anonymity.
The cat from Shrek and Mario. I'd give a corutesy award to doggo. I don't know what that ugly homosexual in top left is and I don't care
The Sopranos
Why are millennial writers so obsessed with depicting mental illnesses in movies?
If they're white:
>My mental illness is my personality!
If they're anything else:
>My ethnic background is my personality!
Hope this helps.
>movies about internal mental states
>Ohmigod why is she getting depressed and having an anxiety attack?
>i have three total brain cells and can only speak through greentext strawman? DURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
I legit got issues with anxiety (as in get sick and shit) but then again I'm not usually who this is talking about.
what kind of gay has a panic attack? that's subhuman to me I will not be respecting them or their gay little wishes
Panic attack is a psyop. People is dying every day because doctors said them that they are having a panic attack when they probably has a terminal sickness.
>Doctor, I can't breath
>It's a panic attack, son
>Doctor, I have a pain in my chest
>It's a panic attack, son
>Doctor, I h-ACK
if you admit with chest pain they almost always draw blood and are able to run blood tests for heart stress. they'll also often run an EKG and chest x-ray as standard.
as someone who admits to the ER 3-4/year, thats at least how it works in my state
As someone who has had constant panic attacks thanks to depersonalization since I was 14, the dog on the bottom right is the closest. You just gotta close your eyes, breathe and try to let it go
I don't believe you. I had a panic attack once when I was in high school and I genuinely thought for years that I'd had a nervous breakdown. Went catatonic, they called an ambulance on me
>Hollywood
>"Everyone is like us!"
> "Give us your money for showing us stuff you surely go through as well!"
this. real life panic attacks aren't much to see. and in certain situations, they're fricking normal because you're supposed to go into life or death mode if you're that stressed out.
i had three in a row while taking off during a storm last summer and no one could tell anything was happening to me, you just go quiet and breath it out and distract yourself until it's over.
>Pajeets and beaners are mistaking panic attacks for an anxiety episode
LMAO no wonder your IQ is lower than 80
The one in Inside Out 2 made sense.
Who cares about some clickbait headlines?
>idk why people get mad about these sorts of scenes. Who cares about some clickbait headlines?
i think you solved it anon. This is a marketing thread.
It’s to help convert them to lgbt
There are no such things as panic attacks.
It's actually just people convince themselves they are in such a sire situation due to whatever that they subconsciously cause their own brains to act out what they think a "panic attack" involves, mainly short rapid breathing and chest "pain" with a bombardment of negative thoughts.
It quite literally is "all in their head".
which is why it’s fricked up for disney to be PRESCRIBING ILLNESS TO KIDS
>There are no such things as panic attacks.
>It's actually just people convince themselves they are in such a sire situation due to whatever that they subconsciously cause their own brains to act out what they think a "panic attack" involves, mainly short rapid breathing and chest "pain" with a bombardment of negative thoughts.
>It quite literally is "all in their head".
I had one when I was 9 and I never heard of it before.
Just because it is in your head does not mean you can consciously control or stop it. Your heartrate goes insanely fast. It's a physical response.
I can consciously make my heart rate go fast by doing the exact shit people having uncontrollable "panic attacks" claim.
It's more like a mental illness than anything else.
Yeah and panic attacks are when those feedback loops initiate without your control
A voluntary process happening involuntarily is usually a sign for concern, like people who urinate randomly
>short rapid breathing and chest "pain"
its just vaxx side effects but the media is shilling the "panic attack" meme to hide it
>There's no such thing as dying
>it's actually people just convincing themselves that their organs are failing and due to whatever they subconsciously think it will cause their brains to act out death
I thought I died on DMT and 'came back' as 'a new person'.
I didn't actually die, anon, I just thought I did.
Why did everyone all at once get the idea that this was something people needed to see? I think it's because they themselves were sufferers of a traumatic event and wanted to share that experience.
Mario's panic attack is among my top favorite mario franchise moments.
Is not a panic attack but Crozier's reaction in this scene was close enough
hollywood biggest psyop right now
Its not the same without the bowser silhouette game over fadeout
Will Smith's character has panic attacks in Bad Boys 4. Very weird choice
>cartoons
Frick off to Wrong board, troons
Is that dog movie any good? Or is it just millennial bluey enjoyers?
men will let their sons watch this effeminate queer shit and wonder why, suddenly, they turn gay
There was one in the new bad boys as well
>There was one in the new bad boys as well
Surely you're shitting me?
It’s a major plot point that Will Smith keeps having panic attacks during action scenes, while the previously worrisome Martin Lawrence believes he can’t die and runs around hipfiring and max payne diving
One panic attack freezes Will so badly that Martin needs to slap him in the face hard repeatedly to snap him out of it
I liked the movie btw. Relatively unpozzed. Reggie going John wick stole the show
>the previously worrisome Martin Lawrence believes he can’t die and runs around hipfiring and max payne diving
Ok fair play to them that's a pretty funny inversion
>Cinemaphile complaining about panic attacks in media
>the same board that has been gushing about The Sopranos for 15 years
geg
Why is everything so gay and lame now? Can we go back to badass heroes who beat the shit out of the villain
Maybe when women aren't in charge anymore.
The Mario scene was also good but I think that was less of a "panic attack" and more of "hiding in terror from a fire breathing dragon who just beat the every loving shit out of him"
I want everyone involved with this debacle to die.
Only women and gays suffer from panic attacks. If you're not a woman and you have a panic attack then you're a wiener munching homosexual
t. psychiatry student
>calls people who have panic attacks 'a wiener minching homosexual'
>t. psychiatry student
Yup that makes sense
brave of you to openly come out as gay on Cinemaphile
Hereditary
Never had a panic attack, so don't know how it unfolds.
i've only had one and it was accompanied by severe hyperventilation which caused my entire body to get excruciatingly painful pins and needles, my arms/legs went completely numb and my jaw clenched so hard i cracked a tooth
my mind felt serenely calm and entirely detached from my body which i no longer had any control over
was an interesting experience to be honest
Are panic attacks the new humiliation ritual?
I guess the cat wins this one
MARIO ALWAYS WINS
Walter white in Crawlspace has them all beat by a country mile
Why is Mario here? He's had the shit kicked out of him by Bowser in that scene and is hiding behind some cover.
PANIC ATTACK PANIC ATTACK
Yeah he's not panicking, he's just ducking for cover, he gets back up and goes to face Bowser a second later.
This animation is fricking terrible
Why?
Not that anon but it's not at all memorable and has as many cuts as live-action fight sequences do.
In live-action you do a lot of cuts because you record lots of takes from different angles and put together the best ones (and try to hide when things look crappy), in animation you have absolute control so there's no good reason for things to look so choppy.
He didn't say the editing was bad, he said the animation.
Storyboarding and direction are part of the animation process
It just occurred to me how bizarre it was to have the climactic end battle take place in a fricking city street like it was Avengers slop. It's Super Mario. The final battle happens in the Koopa Castle. Every time. Always.
If you've ever had a panic attack in your life you are weak and should be culled.
>character who thought he was immortal and acted as if he was is confronted with actual mortal fear for his life for the first time and has a freakout, as well as spending the whole film fleeing from it
I don't know why Puss in Boots is attacked for it, it was a good part of the film to give him some development
>a character is upset or anxious for any reason
>headlines now suddenly claim this is a "panic attack", which is a very specific thing
Mario is not "having a panic attack" in that scene, he's injured from Bowser battering him. What is this nonsense?
Don had a panic attack when he mistakenly thought he had been found out by the government on Mad Men, that was treated realistically with him unable to catch his breath or stop his heart hammering.
>holy shit the meat suit's in danger
>welp, better cripple its function so that the danger more easily harms me
why are bodies so moronic?
Why is this a thing? Jesus, just fricking nuke America at this point.
>One movie shows a panic attack
>"Cool"
>A few more movies show panic attacks
>"Noooooo why are they forcing it in everything now, it's such an overused trope"
Puss in Boots didn't have him panic out of nowhere, he was running in terror any time he saw the Wolf through the film.
As is only just, he concedes. God speed autistic troll anon.
>character in film has a realistic reaction in keeping with his arc during the story and following on from previous scenes
>this means to be acclaimed, we need more panic attack scenes
As always, context is lost in imitation.
Why would you tweet that? WHO fricking cares?!
Mulholland Drive.
panic attacks aren't real, so none
When the Nazgul float past the innkeeper in Fellowship of the Rings
spot on
Chase doesn’t have a panic attack in Paw Patrol. He’s just sad.
>Tommy Cooper dies on stage
>actual heart attack
>just sits down
>dies
wtf
>panic attack!!!!!
Imagine bragging about having the resiliency of a fainting goat
Imagine being terrified of showing even a shred of vulnerability.
i am invincible at all times
>tiger comes at you
>freeze
literally a defect.
>see a tiger
>body releases adrenaline
>heart rate and body temperature spike
>reaction time and pain sensitivity go down
>begin to hyperventilate to flush muscles with o2
>fight or flight begins
Its a completely normal evolutionary response.
Now let's take the human out of the ancestral environment and see what happens.
>human is in a massively stressful situation with no solution
>exact same chain of autonomic reactions takes place
>fight or flight doesn't initiate because you can't escape or fight life circumstances.
>panic attack
Except panic attacks only happen to some people.
>dunning kruger trying to explain evopsych
Its like pottery
or maybe you're sheltered and you've never been in a situation which can cause it and you're attributing your mental fortitude to simply never having been tested
there are definitely hysterical morons who think any sensation of anxiety is a panic attack but real panic comes as an involuntary creeping sensation you have to fight hard to prevent overwhelming you
The Sopranos did it more realistically than any of those but if I had to pick one of the four Puss in Boots' actually made sense because he's scared of the fact he is literally being pursued by death. The entity that destroyed his bravado by being the first to hurt and defeat him.
