Dude is just lazy! Final film could have been some multifaceted tour de force 1950's scifi meets western that sees kill bill esque escapades set in the wild wild West with indians, cowboys, run away slaves and Wendigo and Aliens! But NO! We get, the guy who talks about movies!

So a basement dweller in the 70s... maybe Dano, Maybe Jonah Hill, Pattinson is another good option, Adam Driver... Or maybe Tarantino should hire a real basement dweller obsessed with movies in his 30s, like me.

Well, we know who that guy is because he's read his reviews on his show.

Shia would be literally perfect for the role. He will get back to drinking and probably become a real life critic for it.

I know he's a little older, but this role is perfect for him. Tarantino really needs to get him for the lead role.

He already worked with Goggins on The Hateful Eight IIRC

He said it's a guy who he hasn't worked with. Adam Driver is someone he has talked about a lot, but the real life guy looks like Jonah Hill, but he's also worked with him. Could be Seth Rogen.

        Anonymous

Listen, Tarantino said he doesn't want someone he's already worked with. But that doesn't mean he won't take.

You're out Jonah. It's Driver or Shia.

Can I see examples of his reviews somewhere? I don't want to listen to hours of podcast for that.

Actually not that I can find. I can find his porn stuff. But not his actual reviews. On the show he reads from his magazine collection. He's a sperg. He watches a lot of youtube now, but I remembed back in the day he would have his assistant literally print out AICN talkbacks (think proto /misc/ threads) to read.

Looking at photos, Dano could do it. Only thing that's throwing me off here is the age.

          >He wrote like he was 55 but he was only in his early to mid-30s. He died in his late thirties.
Marigold died old. So it may be another critic. On his show he mentioned a guy who wrote for porn mags, but I don't remember that guys name, and I can't be fucked looking through the podcast.

            Anonymous

Also Tarantino asked Margold to write a review for Grindhouse, and he shat on it and Tarantino in general.

What also might be a thing - Tarantino writes fake reviews as Jim Sheldon. Given his latest autistic habit of talking to his own fictional characters as if they are real and reviewing imaginary movies...maybe this is who it is.

I was just thinking about this today because of his new, fucking weird, podcast. I assumed it was going to be Leo again. Hopefully not Austin Butler. A movie critic sounds like Jesse Eisenberg.

HOWEVER - a while back Tarantula said he really wanted to do a Rambo remake with Adam Driver.

So my money is on Big Ears.

Adam Driver is now a slave of Disney again. And there's no way they'd let him star in a Tarantino movie, moreover, as a racist critic.
