I like his unrestricted approach to elevating a character's positive traits to overshadow their ugly traits. It is also done in a way that is true to form, and borders abstraction.

They were moving books based on their art. It wasn't just "Gotta have my Spider-Man!," it was "Todd McFarlane is the best Spider artist and I don't even read the other titles."
