Why are George's fans so afraid that if they question even one of his ideas they automatically become Mouseshills?

you can’t have nuance in internet debates. you can’t acknowledge that george makes dumb lazy decisions and also that disney fucked him over unfairly and made 3 dogshit movies

Nothing stops you from having nuance but frankly it's possible only on slower boards with permanent IDs or if people use trips because then you can return after hours or present longer cases.
But on this board threads receive a burst of replies from the drones then it dies, new troll ones are made constantly, mods constantly ban people.
It's a shitposting board, no coherent discussion can form.

        >It's his film. He can do whatever he wants with it.
That doesn't make it a good decision. It was also his decision to add the scene where that thing braps on Jar Jar.
        >stupid irrelevant details
They're not "irrelevant details", he made massive changes to the movies and added CGI that looked bad in the 90s to a great looking practical effects-driven film from the 70s. The changes to ANH feel more dated than the original film does.

nah, that was just george lucas trying to side-step the question of why he has so few black characters in his movies. Basically jumping on a grenade to save the ranch. Classic ploy.

Why do zoomers deify George Lucas so hard? Liking his movies is one thing, but you guys fucking worship him and everything he does. Why?

Only Gen Xers hates the prequels. Millennials, the target audience, loved them. Boomers never gave a fuck. They were too busy driving Mustangs, listening to the golden age of rock music, having consequence free sex, and getting high.

Prequel love is predictive programming for when the inevitable Mouse Wars circlejerk that the sequels were misunderstood and older fans were just being annoying, manbaby shills that didn’t get it, while the zoomer or gen alpha “chads” were the real ones who got it.

That's the narrative the establishment tried to push. The reality is that those films and their spinoffs were extremely successful and popular, his sequel trilogy would have been too, and Disney are absolutely seething.

They're children mentally speaking. They're just still connected to a kid's brand that hasn't been good in like 40 years and to each new generation Lucas is an obscure figure no one cares about. He's not relevant at all and hasn't been for ages.

The guy definitely has endless ideas but he has absolutely no idea how to write a screenplay. The amount of stuff in the prequels that makes no sense is astonishing. The guy is not good at recognizing his own limitations and no one would ever point them out to him because they don't want to get fired or blackballed from the industry.

But regardless of anyone's opinion of him, dude is still a multi-billionaire and can afford as much mall food court food as he wants.

There's a difference between questioning some of the creative decisions George made and defending Mouseshit. HUGE difference.
George himself admitted he may have gone a little too far in places and how much he absolutely loathes writing. Has Disney ever apologized or backtracked any of their decisions?

When Batman and Robin bombed at the box office and was panned out the ass, we had to wait 6 years before studios did another Batman movie. Now? We have how many fucking Spiderman movies? If one does shit numbers, they just spew out another one 2 years later? They can't do that with this because they went out of their way to tie together their shit movies to the original six and they screeched at and insulted fans when they not only didn't measure up but couldn't even come clsoe to holding a candle. Their characters, stories, ideas; all of it was shittier versions of what we already had and not int he slightest bit memorable to even a quarter of what George came up with. And to top it all off, they're doubling down on their ferverent stupidity by not having learnt a fucking thing and pushing forward with a new series with more or less the exact same thing.

George's fans don't shill Mouseshit here. Mouseshit shill's shill Mouseshit here.

I'm not quite a gen xer, but I was a kid when the prequels came out. Looking back the greatest weakness of the prequels is you already knew what was going to happen which took the suspense out of it. I think fans were also turned off/filtered/whatever you want to call it by the midichlorian thing.

George made enemies in the studio system turning down their low balling post-A New Hope, and they're still around to day. Deflecting from how badly your bowdlerized trash performed compared to the profits of Prequels et. al. is a valid strategy.

Suddenly I'm in another fucking George Lucas thread and I just want it to stop already. Can't you fuckers talk about ANYTHING else? George is either in the know, and just wants to commentate on the israelite world order, seeing as how that's really the only option he has left, or he's also secretly a Mason and the based shit from the prequels is actually just the usual subliminal messaging shit. There's whole threads about it from the /misc/acks.
