What sucks even more is that they had the blue print for doing it right within their own company and yet they still managed to completely fucked up everything
How come this isn't ever getting renewed? Cause clips of stuff like JLU even posted in the last two or so years have racked up millions of views. Shit ton more love for the old DCAU than something like YJ which did get a shitty revival
opening action scene of the flash feels straight out of justice league unlimitied. The truth is dc fans have some weird fixation of hating everything. They wont allow themselves to live anything that comes out, they're too insecure.
Cavill version really leaned into the destruction as some horrifying apocalyptic event rather than being basic bitch background cartoon stuff like in DCAU. The apocalyptic stuff in MoS then fell flat cause Superman himself didn't seem all that horrified/upset at the aftermath. Begins having quiet flirty jokes with Lois when they kiss. The bigs fights never worked for me either because he nor Zod are getting hurt. Always figured the cardinal rule is that most shit won't hurt Superman until he throws down with someone like Zod - then a punch will give me bruises and a black guy and he's gonna sweat and exert himself and be in pain. Like the whole Doomsday fight in BVS... he's totally fine up until he gets stabbed. I find it a bit shit in terms of execution, really. Even if Sneeder had some reason here, I think I'd still have preferred the alternative of a fight like that actually hurting Superman and being a struggle
In DCAU the time superman leveled the unoccupied model city that Luther built actually horrified superman and the general public alike, and was meant to show that he was close to becoming justice lord superman.
>series finale is "lol Superman was sandbagging every fight, he's actually insanely strong and can blow up an entire city block with the shockwave from a punch"
>"That man (Referring to Batman) won't quit as long as he can still draw a breath. None of my teammates will. Me? I've got a different problem. I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard. Always taking constant care not to break something. To break someone. Never allowing myself to lose control, even for a moment, or someone could die. But you can take it, can't ya, big man? What we have here is a rare opportunity for me to cut loose, and show you just how powerful I really am!"
You can't deny it was kino.
The 21st century ones are mostly bad due to terrible casting. That titless bitch Gadot is no Lynda Carter. That tiny-handed bong homosexual Cavill is no Christopher Reeve. That mentally ill groomer and semen dumpster Ezra Miller is no one's idea of a hero.
Superman is based as fuck and really enjoyed having extremely high stakes fighting space gods and planet eaters, Batman and most marvelslop can't even compare fighting human crack dealers and shit, fuck outta here with that pussy shit
because they suck

What are you talking about?

Then in the rest episodes he kept punching bad guys into buildings like in every other episode.
This was so good but also so bad for me who was a Superman fan. The guy lost everything, even random fucking electricity.
>series finale is "lol Superman was sandbagging every fight, he's actually insanely strong and can blow up an entire city block with the shockwave from a punch"
Yeah, it's funny because DCAU Superman is insanely weak and underpowered.
That scene was pure kino for me as a seven year old
Superman is badass fuck all these batboy and marvelcuck nerds

>Sex Luthor saves the world by zero summing Darkseid out of existence
This shitty show is the basically the blueprint of the Batwank we see today.
because women and homosexuals have a say in the film direction
Because only Batman is compelling
Batman sucks too
Apart from Superman, DC characters are more eccentric than Marvel characters and are tougher to get right.
is that drake bell

>Why aren’t DC flims good?
Zack Snyder
Cast with no charisma
zero characterization prior to justice league
Superman is based as fuck and really enjoyed having extremely high stakes fighting space gods and planet eaters, Batman and most marvelslop can't even compare fighting human crack dealers and shit, fuck outta here with that pussy shit
Honestly it’s just that DC characters are lame as shit
why is capeshit capeshit?
