They did. The podcast came about because the prequel movie temporarily reinstated the relevance of the show. It consisted of a planned number of episodes and ended as planned.
Whereas The Office ended years ago and did not have any new entries to justify new actor-driven side content.
>look we've seen tony do some bad shit before i mean real bad but never did i ever think he would say those things to noah that was out of line talk about a real scumbag >yeah he's the worst I felt uncomfortable after that scene
These guys have laughed about Tony beating innocent people but you don't want your daughter dating a Black person? that's too much for them. Frick them.
You know I can understand Tom Welling seeing Smallville as the highlight of his now nonexistent career but why is Rosenbaum there? He’s had a fair amount of successful gigs outside of SV and an actual career.
Actually, it's the other way around; Rosenbaum has been constantly reminiscing about Smallville and wastes no time inviting former co-stars to discuss Smallville on and on. He's also very enthusiastic about going to Cons to talk about his Lex Luthor run. Welling is way more private and up until a few years ago, didn't even go to cons. Rosenbaum convinced him over time.
>noooo why is an actor doing a THING?? it must mean their life is over and their career is shit nooooo nobody can do things just to do them noooooo everything MEANS something all the TIME ahhhhhhh
your worse than lore-queers, grow up
I can't move on either. Yeah it's cringe, sad and pathetic to get stuck in a timeframe but I do the same with my own life. I live in the past too. And you know what? I will rewatch The Office right now as I do every year because like them, I'm also obsessed with the good old days. What can I say; I peaked in 2010 and it's all been downhill since then...
It's kind of unclear exactly what she does. They mention she is a writer/producer on the show but they also constantly bring up things that makes it sound like she is some sort of assistant. To me it just seems like she was some literal who and latched onto them instead of making a career of her own.

For a moment I was wondering why Kaitlin Olson wasn't the bottom right but then I remembered she can just pop up behind Rob McElhenney anytime she wanted to.
People always reminisce about the high point of their career its just the way it works. Go to any office in the world and you can find some boomer telling stories from that one big project he worked on 20 years ago.
Yeah, if only she was a godless prostitute all would've worked out
she was a mormon who thought drinking coffee was a sin and had about 15 hours of church activities per week (not even counting the 5 hours of church service on sunday alone and she was expressly forbidden from even seeing me on a sunday). amazing breasts though
Is there much money in this sort of thing for the actors? Who's going to jump on to it next? David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson? Someone from the various Star Trek shows?
Star Trek, at least for older series, also has the clout where you can make a career out of jumping from convention to convention just for popping up on a couple episodes. Maybe you can compare the popularity with The Office and other phenomenon, but Star Trek was THE series that exemplifies "Move the frick on" for literal who actors.
It's actually a huge thing now. Old washed up actors doing a podcast about their old show. Even the Sunny cast is doing one. If you're a human and you don't have a podcast, then what are you doing?
they both tried to. pam was in some movies and angela was on that shitty nbc improv show that lasted like half a season. they accepted they are one hit wonders and are milking it for all its worth, which is both sad and very smart of them to do. like what's the alternative, community theater? become an actual receptionist? making 50x as much as either of those for a low effort podcast is objectively their best move since neither is a skilled enough actress to get work on anything else (not to mention being recognizable for one show from a decade ago kinda hurts them on that front)
the only other move they have is commercials maybe but that would be even more soul crushing

Why can’t they move on?
Didn't one of them move on?
HBO is cheap and The Office ladies got way more in residuals.
They did. The podcast came about because the prequel movie temporarily reinstated the relevance of the show. It consisted of a planned number of episodes and ended as planned.

I'd milk it too.
Just like I'd milk Pams Pam Pams
why cant you
>Just ditch a reliable source of income when your career is clearly over
Why can’t they move on?
Kek I didn't know of this one. Did it get to the seasons when the dude playing Lex bails on the show? It'd be funny to hear how awkward it gets
There's been only one episode that's aired so far, and they discuss (sorta) the pilot.

We know, Jenna.
>why don’t they just take one of the literally zero acting jobs available for middle-aged women with limited acting ability
Why can’t they move on?
Their show is still going on
They’re still airing / getting plenty of attention, why would they?
Didn’t this show start the same year as office? We could’ve had 17 years of office its not fair
13 years of The Office with no Michael Scott, wow sign me up
Who the frick is the uggo bottom right?
It's kind of unclear exactly what she does. They mention she is a writer/producer on the show but they also constantly bring up things that makes it sound like she is some sort of assistant. That's Megan Ganz, a writer/producer of the show.
For a moment I was wondering why Kaitlin Olson wasn't the bottom right but then I remembered she can just pop up behind Rob McElhenney anytime she wanted to.
But surprisingly, she hasn't yet.
They won't take this show down because of the implication.
It was the highlight of their careers, obviously.
>middle age women
>nothing special when it comes to acting ability
it's not like they have many other options
People always reminisce about the high point of their career its just the way it works. Go to any office in the world and you can find some boomer telling stories from that one big project he worked on 20 years ago.
underrated
lel
Erin>Angela>>>>>>>Pam
The show is bigger now than it was when it aired. It would be stupid for them to move on
>The show is bigger now than it was when it aired
It’s true you sexless potato
He's not wrong though. It was always a popular show but for some reason it is every boring persons favorite show of all time.
Liking the office is also their entire identity
it's ratings were pretty shit
think it peaked at #40th most watched
How is it ranking now then
>making huge money just talking about a massively successful show they were on
Yeah what a couple of morons
What do you think Jenna’s feet smell like? Probably lilacs.
stale, dusty, and kitty litter.
>working in a closet.
SO sad
A closet in a house she and her husband own that's worth more than your entire existance, and lifetime earnings if you ever actually get a job.
my ex looked just like her, too bad she was a religious nut
Yeah, if only she was a godless prostitute all would've worked out
>Religious but
...so she had morals? Sounds terrible
she was a mormon who thought drinking coffee was a sin and had about 15 hours of church activities per week (not even counting the 5 hours of church service on sunday alone and she was expressly forbidden from even seeing me on a sunday). amazing breasts though
You are a gigantic homosexual.
cope more you religious normie cuck
Your child will be trans.
you're always gonna be a cuck
>doesn't soundbroof the massive cabinet next to her
I swear cabinets and doors reflect more sound than walls
Op, why are you so stupid?
How is he stupid? He successfully crafter a good bait thread. All these (You)'s for the low low price of a three day ban? Absolutely worth it.
Y Can’t They?
homie got a 17 year old patchy face
Unironically a great podcast. *sips kefir*
fricking awful and really cements how insufferable Braff is
Is there much money in this sort of thing for the actors? Who's going to jump on to it next? David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson? Someone from the various Star Trek shows?
Many star trek actors have podcasts.
Why is he so bald?
Frick yeah, I want an X-Files one. It's no secret why these are popular. Everyone wants to riminisce because the current year is so shit.
It's actually a huge thing now. Old washed up actors doing a podcast about their old show. Even the Sunny cast is doing one. If you're a human and you don't have a podcast, then what are you doing?
If everyone is busy podcasting who the frick is listening to this drivel?
Well they need something to do when they aren't podcasting.
the irony of this post appearing on Cinemaphile is off the charts
>irony
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
How much you think she makes from the podcast?
Guessing around 400k/yr
subtle toe cleavage
they both tried to. pam was in some movies and angela was on that shitty nbc improv show that lasted like half a season. they accepted they are one hit wonders and are milking it for all its worth, which is both sad and very smart of them to do. like what's the alternative, community theater? become an actual receptionist? making 50x as much as either of those for a low effort podcast is objectively their best move since neither is a skilled enough actress to get work on anything else (not to mention being recognizable for one show from a decade ago kinda hurts them on that front)

Imagine watching that mindless israelite filth in the first place.
I love her so much bros
Why can't you move on from Cinemaphile, chud?
I unironically listen to this everyday.
>Rosenbaum is oddly /ourguy
Believe it or not, he is.
He hunts down all kinds of people to chat with that usually get no air time.
Some good episodes but the guy is way too psyoped by the LA therapy meme
They look dead inside. Maybe it’s the rose all day. And all week
I mean good for them for making money but surely embarking on a new project would be better for all involved.
They can move on MY DICK
Someone post the obsessed jenna compilation pic
Jencel
Why can’t they move on?
>Jan 6 Survivor
Holy shit, are Americans really like this?
