Imagine generalizing an entire genre because they all have a similar general concept
Remind you of all the medieval legends of dragons, drakes, and wyverns?
If they didn't license Godzilla to launch Kong there would be no Kong. That fucking monkey cannot carry a franchise. No one gives a shit about a big monkey.
I'm talking about the recent re-launch into the monsterverse shit you massive homosexual. Amerigolems wanted a new "marvel" level franchise of goyslop and they knew the monkey couldn't get it going by himself because it's a shitty character.
And the thread is speaking historically you drooling retard, these characters have nearly a century if history and you want to focus solely on the last decade? Kill yourself
Not surprising. It was the big return of the big monkey and it had Peter Jackson's name attached to it. One off though. If they thought they could run a franchise just off Kong and other original IP monsters they would have. Instead they paid through the nose for the Godzilla license. Doesn't matter because hollywood can't make anything decent these days anyway. They are just running down the list of old IPs to rape for memberberries and cultural corruption/destruction.
Do any of those have 38 fucking movies in the series? And no every vampire/dracula movie ever made doesn't count.

Yeah I wasn't alive in the 30s bro. I'm talking about current year. No one is disputing the value of Kong to the genre but there's no comparison to the success of the Godzilla franchise. NO ONE GIVES A FUCK ABOUT THAT MONKEY. I dunno why that is but there's a worldwide cultural movement around Godzilla that the monkey will never replicate.
>Do any of those have 38 fucking movies in the series?
They don't which makes them even better because they're still as iconic
they live in our hearts, not on a screen
there are quite a few >jason >chucky >michael meyers >freddy krueger >he who walks behind the rows monster (children of the corn)
movies - probably none that hit the grand total of movies that godzilla has, but i think there's at least 15+ jason movies alone
hm yep got a bit carried away listing things there, i agree
the others are quite iconic here in the west and have a lot of movies though in addition to being somewhat original characters imo
Sorry, not sorry. US is turning kaiju into woke goyslop with the help of their nagger monkey. I'd prefer for Godzilla to remain a 100% Japanese run property.
I think Minus One will do better than GxK. Someone needs to be the first to say that Americans view Godzilla's worst period of films as his "best" works
>dracula >frankenstein
Based on books so they don't count >the mummy
Based on folklore and the Hollywood mummy is very different from the horror imagine people have with mummys >creature from the black lagoon
Famous but also very niche and kind of forgotten >the blob
Not famous at all >alien >predator
These counts

Well there are about 111 movies with Dracula, not all as a series mind you.
israelites can't into creativity. They can only steal.
Evil (israelites) cannot create.
what even is Godzilla?
what is he a giant monster version of?
Gorilla + whale the name is a portmanteau of the Japanese words for the two animals
I guess a komodo dragon is the closest animal but giant fictional monsters don't need to be larger versions of real animals.
In the original movie he is a dinosaur that went extinct "2 million years ago"
You don't need monsters when you have israelites.
test
test.
Are you aware that Japs aped Godzilla from The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms?
Is that movie or monster whatever iconic or famous??huh????
No. But all that stop-motion slop that Godzilla was influenced by stemmed from King Kong.
Imagine generalizing an entire genre because they all have a similar general concept

tried watching king of the monsters (2019)
king kong

King Kong predates godzilla by 20 years and was one of the most ambitious films ever made

Skull Island made more money than any other entry in the monsterverse.

they live in our hearts, not on a screen
>hey live in our hearts, not on a screen
You can get both...
there are quite a few
>jason
>chucky
>michael meyers
>freddy krueger
>he who walks behind the rows monster (children of the corn)
movies - probably none that hit the grand total of movies that godzilla has, but i think there's at least 15+ jason movies alone
>he who walks behind the rows monster (children of the corn)
That thing is not iconic at all, I don't think most people are even aware it exists.
hm yep got a bit carried away listing things there, i agree

You're giving the rest of us Godzillachads a bad name
Sorry, not sorry. US is turning kaiju into woke goyslop with the help of their nagger monkey. I'd prefer for Godzilla to remain a 100% Japanese run property.
Based MonsterVerse hater. I love Godzilla but I hate that fucking shit.

>Movie monster, Japan
