Never really got the vitriol behind this show. I thought it was decent and had a cool artstyle and action scenes. I guess Gus and a few other characters may have been a bit too much.
Shit wasn't good. Characters were annoying (fat frick being the clear outlier out of all), "plot" was moronic, even for a kids show, and it's only being remembered because Debbie was hot, and the show was partially french, so there's a lot of scenes where she flaunts her ass
Because it's wasted potential. Very good art, choreography (as far as kids' animation goes) and music tied to extremely weak writing. A show with Robotboy's level of craftsmanship tied to more complicated writing would be remembered as a classic to this day, but instead it's more aimed at an early single-digit level age bracket, leaving older kids and us manchildren dissatisfied.
And what makes Cartman funny is the fact that he's a racist, anti-Semitic, manipulative douchebag who swears a lot.
If you take that all away you just get a boring fat butthole.
>Why did CN try to force this show so bad?
Bullshit i'm from the USA, it had 2 seasons and it was mostly kept it to its own designated day of the week and time. CN was getting better at parsing out how they treated external properties. I kinda have a hard time deciding if it was a co-production or not but it's got some guys from Ren & Stimpy directing and helping like they did on the original Space Goofs
i dont recall any marathons of it, but it did slowly make it to weekdays
>created by a Belgian >produced by the French >written and directed by Americans >voiced by the British >partly animated in Luxembourg >mostly animated in South Korea
So yes, it was a co-production, but meant mostly for the European market.
It was only the UK that spammed it and it was due to it being a British show and the UK has laws about airing a certain amount of British content I believe
the only good character in that show was the bad guy's sidekick
everyone else was either boring or unlikeable, the mom's ass could only salvage so much

It's japanaboo garbage and you're a gay for thinking otherwise
Go back to Cinemaphile you fricking tourist
cry more amerimutt
I was dropped on the head as a baby btw
>japanaboo
Are you moronic?
To be honest I didn't like it or hated it, I watched it if it was on but I can't remember anything interesting outside of a few episodes.
If you want to see a boy and his toy robot that turns into a big robot I think Heroman is better
It was a really low energy show outside Discount Cartman and the racist stereotype villains.
This. It was one of those shows that makes me think "I'd rather watch an action cartoon or anime that does this concept better."
It was meh, the hot mom is not enough to salvage it
shows with robots as protagonists were pretty bland.
sorry coomers
Jenny at least had a personality versus Robot Boy being a full emotionless robot with a vague accent.

God bless the french
Gus was my favorite of the kids and the bad guys were fun.

Liking this show comes to a single aspect and that was if you liked or hated Gus, and a lot of people hated Gus
>and a lot of people hated Gus
Lord knows I did, the unlikable fat frick.
Tommy, Robotboy and Lola should've just stopped associating with him.
And Deb should've divorced Dwight and taken Tommy with her.
And pigs should fly and unicorns should fart rainbows and burgers and...
Gus was a "sanitized" Cartman
And what makes Cartman funny is the fact that he's a racist, anti-Semitic, manipulative douchebag who swears a lot.
If you take that all away you just get a boring fat butthole.
The mom was hot.
There, that's the post.
It was their answer to my life as a teenage robot
and somehow they fricked up
people hated this show?
are they moronic?
i loved it as a kid
and got me interested in robot shit
>i loved it as a kid
There's your answer, dum dum
The main character has a good design, that even evolves throughout the episodes. Could’ve been good marketability, like Ben 10.
What were they implying by this?
Episode?????
Episode 16: “Fight”
>mfw I didn't realize they were all monkeys until I asked myself "why is there a proboscis monkey among the rappe- oooh!"
t. Black person
these designs are way too fricking rad to call racist
>Why did CN try to force this show so bad?
Only in Europe and Australia
you spic
oh shit triptroony vs triptroony

as oppposed to which organic shows
It was only the UK that spammed it and it was due to it being a British show and the UK has laws about airing a certain amount of British content I believe

Constantine was unironically funny.
it's a really sad situation when you think about it, this show had some kind of potential but the execution was horrible
so only trannies hate this show
makes sense
anon I liked the girls in this show plenty but they were all underutilized
way too much screen time was devoted to the fat Cartman ripoff
I just thought black bubbles was cute.
They never did an entire episode where the plot focused on Deb's ass.
That's what stopped it from being good.
every episode focuses on her ass
No, I mean one where her ass is the subject of the plot, i.e. an episode where she's concerned about her ass getting too fat.
The robot and villains were cool but the show focused too much on MC's annoying friends
i wonder if this ip will stay dead forever or if the company that has the right of it will do something eventually
there's no point in reviving something almost nobody remembers
>Why did CN try to force this show
It’s called advertising
Gus was obnoxious but a necessary evil. Super Activation was kino.
I have a feeling the PPG opening theme was used as a temp track when they were composing this show's score.
Your favorite?
I like Protoboy, I only wish we could have gotten proper fight scenes between the two.
Was that model fembot an actually villain? I don't remember her episode.
She was a fighter robot im one of those robot vs robot tournaments
How often do you think her butt farts?
I honestly wonder what I hate more, fart gays or fat gays
Eh, I’m kinda a fart gay, but only for cute girls with big butts, which Deb certainly is.
Is Debbie proud of how fat her bum is?
Can you frick off?
I remember everyone in this show being a fricking butthole towards the main character, it just came off as needlessly meanspirited.
Robotboy, the black girl and the mom were pretty much the only characters who didn't either ignore the main protag or treat him like dirt.
i think it was CN europe trying to make a show on par with the american CN shows, so they pushed it as hard as they could
because the show was good
