ir was pretty good if you cut out the story that didnt have rudds antman and his daughter in it. the only good part of the other story was when that old ghostbusters dude shown up. i edited those scenes out and the movie is much stronger, but of course shorter.

the first time Antman was shrank down to the "quantum" realm (shoot the math phys moron that convinced them this was interchangable with anything remotely describing planck length), it was actually interesting seeing the scales keep changing and trying to imagine what it would even be like if you could contain yourself in a safety bubble and shrink yourself so far. unfortunately, the cool shit they could have done was replaced with "alien looking shit and also frick the rules we established before and shit like air particles being larger than you are leading to your death", which made this shit only toddlers could enjoy.

watching this after you watched Avatar was brutal, man. You just cant ignore the difference in the quality of the editing and directing in both movies. Both are CGIfest and trying to offer you a view of another new different world. Cameron achieved that immersive quality in the first 10 mins while this was no better than Spy Kids.

It was just incompetent. From the very beginning it felt "off" to me, like a fan film of some kind, and I assume this is Jeff Loveness's doing.
That being said, I did not mind Kang, or Majors' performance. The fact that he allegedly did what he did and tanked his own career so quickly is just like the cherry on top.
He was not only race swapped but even after people gave him a chance and recognized him as the only somewhat interesting aspect of the movie, that went to the shitter too.
