Why would anyone draw this? That's horrible

Unironically Kirkman's gore and edge fetish, actually, That's all Marvel Zombies ever was, Kirkman jerking off and being paid to draw his fricked up gurotrash porn.

I know this is just an excuse to post this pic, but the actual reason is because this is from Marvel Zombies and Sandman thinks he's attacking zombie Spider-Man.

Yeah I've got a question about that so the whole thing is Marvel Zombies is a timeloop between two universes right? So what happens to both universes after the loop point, since time goes past the loop being made

                Boco

Well, lets see. The first universe is completely empty save for a small colony of humans in New York who will die out in a few generations from lack of genetic diversity.

Meanwhile, the second universe has a barren, dead Earth save for James Rhodes and Flint Marko, but the rest of the universe is more or less safe.

So, basically, one universe is Dead Space and the other one is Star Wars.

I thought the zombies from the universe A ate them because the transporter put them on different worlds
                > The first universe is completely empty save for a small colony of humans in New York who will die out in a few generations from lack of genetic diversity.
Aside from genetic issues they probably won't die out, I was just curious if anything has been done with them

A few species got fricked up, like the Skrulls and Inhumans, but most of the galactic community was spared.

But no, they've never gone back to either universe since.

The first did not happen because the Zombies of Universe A, Wasp, Black Panther and Luke had overcome their starvation stage.
What really ended those worlds they arrived at was that the zombies from Earth, including Sentry, went to those planets, devoured everyone and killed the Zombies of Universe A. I don't remember if they mentioned that they went to devour the entire universe. but I doubt it since the first ones started that crusade because they had developed a hunger like that of Galactus, since in this universe that did not happen, it is most likely that they only did that thing of going to destroy those zombie threats/competition and then they returned to the Earth

                >die out from lack of genetic diversity
No, even a single pair of humans can repopulate. They just need to outbreed any genetic diseases. Like if they have 20 kids, at least some will be genetically or at least physically healthy. It's all a numbers game.

the skrulls, kree, and I think the shi’ar are all dead too, led by zombie black panther, wasp and luke cage from the original dimension and repulsed by the zombie justice league expy
don’t remember a mention of any other extraplanatary beings aside from those so you might still be right considering the “justice league” on earth don’t seem to be capable of space travel (even though they have quasar and sentry?)

                James Rhodes.

So do the zombies end up killing this Sandman anyways?

No, he merges with a swarm of nanites that destroy diseased/dead tissue and sweeps over the planet, killing every last zombie.

The Sand Man of that universe was from really early comics where the worst you'd see is someone rob a bank or something seeing zombie spider-man going around ripping people apart and eating them shocked the frick out of them he basically went "HOLY SHIT THAT'S FRICKED UP I GOTTA STOP THIS GUY" so attacked spider-man with the intent to kill something nobody in his universe had really done before since it was all so sanitized in his world

In a "What If?" comic where Punisher killed Spider-Man, almost every Marvel hero came gunning for him. I think it's just silently accepted that killing him isn't the best of options unless you're willing to go to war.

wtf is the spider sense anyway? i thought it was a radar like daredevil's, but here it's treated as an involuntary psychic thing that only points you to whoever's trying to hurt you

              Anonymous

It's basically limited precognition. In one universe Spider-Man trained it to the point where he could see dangers weeks in advance. Spider-Boy's spider sense is even more blatant, in that it shows him when other people are in danger instead of himself.

I remember reading all of marvel zombies and it kind of being a let down. Its another one of those things that is a novel idea that goes too long and the execution is poor.

DC zombies is about the same. Stephanie Brown as robin with minibatman is about the only thing worthwhile from the series. Plastic man becoming a croneburg horror was pretty good too.

DCeased IMHO was a lot better about telling a superhero zombie apocalypse story instead of a typical bad zombie apocalypse story where some people had superpower. It was decent at not perpetually forcing idiot ball dumbfrickery to keep the plot edgy or goreporn shots.

It also has some pretty great shit like Jason strapping the Joker's corpse to the front of the Batmobile and Alfred becoming the Specter.

Spidey said that biting sandman made him a zombie like everyone else... somehow. Look, marvel zombies cared about logic even less than the average comic.
