its never been stated why exactly they started killing the show, but its really not fair to say its a failure when it was entirely because nick decided to banish it to the shadow realm

I feel like Jenny has received a decent amount of art over the years, and I'm sure a few more people drew her recently due to Nick Brawl, but I wouldn't call it a "stream" of art.

a lot of the damage dealt to MLaaTR was largely inflicted by nick, who kept banishing it to worse and worse time slots, and then using diminishing viewer base as an excuse to push it back in a never ending cycle
to call it a failure when nick was essentially sabotaging the show is pretty disingenuous
and its not like MLaaTR was an isolated case, with highly popular shows getting canned for not being an instant hit like spongebob was
Jenny is cute as can be, it starred the voice talents of the much beloved Eartha Kitt, the art deco style genuinely looks nice sometimes, and it’s just obscure enough that people don’t immediately think Jenny’s a coomer idol the second they see her

It also helps that as the first real DLC that wasn't just a character not finished in time for the base game, she easily has the most polish of everyone else, with a great alt skin and no duplicate moves.

I think a lot of the recent discussion around Jenny is weird. On Cinemaphile you either get "Porn has completely ruined her character" or "Her show was never good". Meanwhile, anywhere else you get "Wow, remember MLAATR?!" and you can talk for hours about it before anyone even brings the porn.
That's mostly just one sperg making those threads, MLAATR doesn't get much real discussion because we've already discussed pretty much everything about it.
