Was it simply the name, making it immediately more relatable, or something else?
It's the conviction he said it with.
>autist discovers that people can read each others intentions through subtle cues and unintentional hints
have a nice day anon
Based anon
>have a nice day anon
Come now anon, was that an appropriate comment?
...no...
just found out it's on D+ so I'm watching now
>UNEMPLOYED IN GREENLAND
kino scene
The movie is almost entirely kino except for le fahnny israelite bullshit
I need to return some digits
it's damn near a perfect movie
The Bill Crystal bit really is the one weak part of the film.
my parents always used to say "have fun storming the castle" whenever they'd send us off. somewhere like if we were going out with a friend. For that reason alone I submit that the billy crystal bit is good and in fact because im extremely important in the scope of this universe and indeed this very thread, you like that bit now, too.
Unironically this movie would have been perfect if the titular character was absent, or at the very least kept her trap shut. In other news; I hate women.
Please anons, just keep the thread going, you can dunk on me but the thread is all that matters.
Anon, is this thread really worth sacrificing your self esteem?
Stand up for yourself.
Anon, yes it is. I love this movie.
Well I think you deserve to love yourself.
Now call me a homosexual.
>now call me a homosexual
No. I won't do it.
Why?
My brother loved this movie, and I wil not move on whether i love it or not.
Loving yourself and loving this film do not have to be mutually exclusive.
Now call me a Black person
Black person, you are not wrong. But it meant something to him, so it means something to me.
I'm proud of you my friend, even though you're a cum guzzling homosexual.
Thanks breh, It's what I live for. It's what he would live for. So that's all that matters.
I'm sorry about your brother
Thanks Anon.
Keep going breh, it's a great movie.
>"Hello. My name is Inigo Montya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
>"I'm sorry father, I tried. I tried."
He steals the entire movie with just one scene. Why?
>I want my father back you son of a b***h.
GOD DAMN
>I want my father back you son of a b***h.
Right in the feels.
>be me in the late 80s
>watch my VHS copy of TPB
>find out we are going on a field trip to see TPB at the local theater in 1st grade
>watching kino with the class
>I want my father back you son of a.....
>3 seconds of audio missing
>WTF?
>Projectionist edited it out
What b***hy bullshit.
True Kino can’t be denied
Anybody want a baguette?
>Anybody want a peanut?
He didn't have to miss, you know.
Cartel's gonna execute him once this gets archived.
Shouldn't have bothered my mans. He was clearly being treated by the owner
When I was a kid I thought Buttercup was insanely hot when she had that crying red nosed face and also when all tied up and blindfolded.
But hitting someone on the head is the most violent way to make someone unconscious.
Cary Elwes career flopped. No one knows why
A supporting character that basically became the most compelling character in the movie.
I know right? It's kind of a shame overall.
Movie starts out. Bunch of lovable, funny neerdowells doin neerdowell stuff.
Then, in that one scene, Inigo's character takes on a gravity not really felt with anyone else in the movie. And the scene at the top:
> "Do you always begin conversations this way?"
He gives some backstory that actually makes him compelling and sympathetic.
Most based take ever. Thanks anon. My brother thanks you.
Just a kino scene. Two dudes with swords who want to find out who is better. No bullshit, no cheating, a bit of banter, a bit of technical showoff. Just a fundamentally honest piece of media that doesn't demonize masculinity
the performative aspect of him saying that confirmed to wesley that he would be allowed up
Women will never understand.
I know right?
Father/son relationships are the best part of cinema and it's not even close.
It ruled out fatherless behavior
