Why didn't he just make suits for cap, natasha, hawkeye and other non superhuman heroes?

Because they're capeshit flicks, moron.
you jack off to cartoon ponies
>You want to put a suit of armor around the world
Really just Rhody and Pepper
Because they have their own advantages they bring to the table. What use is a spy in a suit of clunky armor?
Spider-man didn't lose his flexibility when he wore iron spider suit tf are u talking about
The iron spider suit isn't nearly as durable as Iron Man's suit nor does it have even half the gimmicks. And at that point it was all nano tech anyway.
The iron spider suit is gay and stupid anyway
Spider-Man has worn a variety of enhancement suits and he always ends up coming back to his original one because it's not in his character as a regular dude from Queens + he usually deals with street level threats.
And no armor he puts on will make him better than Tony at his own game. In fact, Iron Man's suit can already emulate his spider-sense and a bunch of other gimmicks.
>attacking a guy who has near-thor level strength
>surprised pikachu face when he decides to crush you inside your suit like a soda can
Maybe read some comics kid
>Pheromone based defenses
Spidey sense is not based on smell, LMAO. Also at the very least the Iron Spider suit would protect Peter from cuts and small caliber bullets that he didn't dodge. Combine it with the ability to record shit and access police databases and it was a serious upgrade for Peter's ability to fight crime.
> Also at the very least the Iron Spider suit would protect Peter from cuts and small caliber bullets that he didn't dodge.
It would mess with his natural flow. He's like a super bendable gymnast and he uses this to his advantage. Any kind of armor is simply too clunky aside from something like kevlar or pic related.
Iron Spider was just a nanoskin, though. It protected him from minor damage, gas attacks didn't enhance his strength. The only suit that's superior to iron spider is symbiote. The symbiote suit enhanced his strength and gave him nearly Wolverine tier healing powers.
I don't think he needs any type of specialized suit in most circumstances when he's dealing with city level crime, and he's already enhanced as it. There's always the risk of someone hacking the suit or finding an exploit of some kind too, which would be more of a liability when he can already dodge 99% of bullets without a suit.
>What use is a spy in a suit of clunky armor
When thanos' army attacked wakanda natasha was in her stupid leather suit. If she was in iron man suit she'd more useful
What fricking use is a woman spy when fricking aliens are attacking and invading anyway moron?
Moral support
>tfw they give her a suit in the end and it's still impractical
>Jarvis, activate the cross suit neural receptors.
Recruiting the avengers
she can frick the alien king and get information about his troop numbers
>implying the alien king or Thanos wanted used casting couch pussy
If you were REALLY good at spying you'd know they were coming well in advance.
He has literal invisibility armor in the comics
She sucked and swallowed super jizz like caption merica
Why couldn't he and the rest of them keep their fricking masks on?
Destroyed them all in the last decent cape film, Iron Man III
>um he didn't have time
>Just ignore Ironman 3
why doesnt dr strange wear an iron man suit?
realistically the only one who wouldn't benefit much from a suit is hulk
Yes, it's not like he'd be giving extra weaponry to people who might then use it against him, in some potential future...internal conflict.
yeah thats why he chose not to, because he knew one day he would be kinda not friends with them for a little bit
Fits with him being autistic about who uses his tech.
>Jarvis, activate self destruct
Same reason why Batman never uses any of the suits he uses to fight the Justice League to fight crime in Gotham
they didnt have unlimited battery power in their chest
maybe cap and natasha
Because they all have their own fighting styles that don't involve clunky army.
Tony instead made them custom weapons and gear that suited their abilities.
Tony made Hawkeye custom bows, special arrows, and gear that was better than Shield. He gave Natasha custom designed electrical suits while still maintaining flexibility. Tony gave the Hulk pants that didn't tear apart. Tony gave Cap the ability to wirelessly summon his shield with magnets without having to touch it. He also built Falcon upgraded wing suit.
>clunky army
Clunky armor**
cap doesn't need a suit, he can run pretty fast and punch pretty hard
bw doesn't need a suit, she can shoot guns
hawkeye doesn't need a suit, he can shoot bow good
prepare to get replaced iron man
post the edit
He did make a suit for everyone, they just chose not to use it
Because he is the suit.
would actually prefer such a premise to him getting replaced by another copy or riri williams
Something similar happened in Hypervelocity but it was a rogue AI.
TETSUOOOOOOO
i don't know the lore, but that thing is his chest, which is also his heart iirc, regulates the whole thing?
like a big part of what integrates his body with the suit?
also the suit is built by him, for only him- there's probably a ton of stuff you have to account for, the suit is just as much a part of him as this flesh is- at some point
so anyone who wants their own suit not only has to really work to adapt it to their physiology, but also undergo a complicated cybernetic surgery?
idk if anything i said is true but i think its a cool explanation, the suit even starts to have a "mind of its own", the AI onboard and tonys mind are so in sync
all to say that- the suit simply wouldn't work on anyone else, even if tony built one for someone it would require their own expertise and years of personal tweaking to make work like his
this was probably all in the movies that i haven't seen because its hack writing that took me 4 minutes to think of
Anon he literally already built a suit for his buddy, and for the military. That's what War Machine is.
The real reason why it doesn't happen is because it would make all the characters less unique if they were all just iron man lite with their own spin.
do the other suits have to have the heart/power source thing or is that just unique to him?
You can just put it on the back anon there's no rule that says to wear power source in your chest
i was too hard on myself, my hack writing would be way better than whatever crap they are putting out
Your initial post isn't too far off the mark. At one point Tony and the suit merge and he's basically a cyborg but the AI never overrides his brain, just enhances it. The goal here is to make the suit and body more symbiotic and for the suit to be able to react in the blink of an eye like pic related.
my problem with him is that its well established that:
1. much smarter beings exist in the universe
2. much better technology exists in the universe
3. usually 1 and 2 go hand in hand
so there should be a bunch of massively superior versions of iron man, either heroes or villains
they took his suit powers and technology he invents "off screen" to magical levels
You're not wrong. The closest thing to any of that is the Doombots, and that is only by a vague technicality that I'm just mentioning to say how nothing else exists.
Tony's tech is state of the art only for human standards, there is superior alien tech out there and it's not as easy to reverse engineer. Although at this point in the comics Earth is still significantly more advanced than it should realistically be.
'Member the butthole version of Tony Stark Tom Cruise was allegedly going to play? He uses an armor that is a hybrid of regular Earth tech and symbiotes.
giving tony too much power always ends up being a bad thing
the mcu had the right idea when he sacrificed himself
which iron man focused movies should i watch?
what comics best flesh out these ideas? i'm intrigued
>which iron man focused movies should i watch?
The first one. Rest are skippable but if you want more you can check them out.
>what comics best flesh out these ideas?
There's a shit ton of them, depends on what specifically you're into. The cyborg angle I was referring to started being explored in "Extremis".
You're half-right and half-wrong. The best models can usually only be operated by him, but he can lend out less advanced models to other people.
the real problem is one punch from spiderman to his head would turn his brain to jelly regardless of how magical his suit is
same with his organs. even though spider man should be more than strong enough to rip his suit right off of his body and crush it in his hands, all he has to do is kick him using even a fraction of his strength and iron man will die from concussive trauma
If the armor can handle sudden stops from Mach 2 without making him blackout, it can take a porker punch
it wouldn't because spider man could effortlessly lick through his armor, so it would be like hitting a chicken breast wrapped in tinfoil with a bat. all of that force would go into his organs.
Sounds like magic powers. I thought you didn't like that.
Not how it works. The suit is pretty much impact proof except for the type of force that exceeds its durability.
> even though spider man should be more than strong enough to rip his suit right off of his body
He can square off against Superman-tier beings, Spidey is small time.
There's a pretty cool bit in recent years where the armor is basically holding his head on from the damage his body has taken inside.
Depends on the model of the armor. If it's something for basic defense, then yes, Spider-Man should be able to rip it apart.
But he also has literal God-buster armors.
They never talk about the half dozen revolutionary technologies he pulled out of his ass just to make this dumb suit not horribly murder him in 30 second
>cap, natasha, hawkeye
You named the three characters that wouldn't want an Iron Man suit, it's just not their style.
The one character that would make total sense to have one is Falcon, a suit would do everything that his stupid backpack does and a lot more.
I would think because they did not need them. Hawk Guy maybe... But he was never used for anything that just being a physically fit man with impeccable aim couldn't do.
Hawkeye's main advantage is being a stealthy ninja. There's stealth suits too, sure, but they would be dead weight in most circumstances. For example he killed Bruce Banner by simply sniping him from afar before the Hulk transformation could occur.
I don't watch superhero movies that violate the laws of physics. Simple as
Ironman 3 really is where they fricked ironman. Extremis is supposed to be what made tony an actual superhuman and tie these stupid loose ends but instead they stuck with him being just a man. inb4 his sacrifice wouldn't have been impactful, extremis just gave him direct connection to the suits, he'd still die without them like a human but it would mean controlling the suits at his level wouldn't be achievable by a normie
The point of Iron Man 3 is that if he's nothing without the suit he doesn't deserve it.
But yes, they did screw up the storyline. I guess Pepper Potts is technically Extremis-enchanced unless they somehow reversed it off-screen.
He made Bruce Banner one after the Hulk inexplicably turned into the world's biggest pussy
The Hulk is Bruce's childhood persona. He couldn't anticipate that Thanos would be just as strong if not stronger, and more importantly more skilled. It's a hit on the ego and he was probably scared shitless after the beating.
Fun fact, that part at the climax of Endgame where Captain Marvel overpowers Thanos was originally supposed to be Hulk's moment. It was to be his redemption where he proves he's stronger. They gave it to Cpt Marvel because she hadn't done anything else for the whole movie.
hulk fighting him would have been more fun
The suit is probably so complicated to work that it couldn't be trusted with just anybody. You wouldn't trust a person of average intelligence to pilot an iron man suit just like you wouldn't trust a downie to pilot a figher jet.
That's just my personal interpretation but the realer answer is that it's a stupid capeshit movie and you aren't supposed to read that deeply into it.
What the frick do you think War Machine is?
Army vet who still had to train extensively on how to pilot the suit and still almost ended up dying, and that's just the movies.
In the comics Rhodes becomes more machine than man at one point, mainly because he had a much harder time than Tony with the suit and sustained massive injuries, whereas with Tony it was a conscious choice and he still retained his organic body. Rhodes ended up restoring his body because comics, but at one point he was just a few slabs of meat confined to a machine.
So his point isn't inaccurate, not everyone is fit to be Iron Man unless they're ready to sacrifice a lot.
well let's go through all the people that used the suit
>Tony built it
>Rhodes a pilot
>Pepper ?????
>Peter parker but not really an iron man suit. It was just a spidey suit with his shit on it, he still swung around, mostly just him with some fancy tools
In conclusion not anyone can pilot the suit. Bruce was just in the hulk buster and ran around being useless
I'd like to add the ironman suit can fly up to mach 20 or something as he can go to low orbit with his mermaid booster. Even an ordinary pilot can't handle the G-force of that let alone anyone
The dampeners he puts in the suit are the most unrealistic aspect. The rest is feasible. Exo-suits exist today and will likely be used a lot in a few decades.
Nah it's the repulsors, a very basic and important aspect of the entire suit as well
Repulsors or equivalents of that aren't as impressive as being able to survive those Gs in such a small suit.
Especially in the kinds of maneuvers he's doing.
some bullshit reactive liquid would actually work to dampen the gforce like in that anime where he pilots his mom
Realistically glowBlack folk would've found a way to blackmail Tony with cp or a forced trip to Epstein Island, and then mass produce his suit which would eventually leak to other world superpowers.
