Why do people pretend batman isn't lame? He's literally too useless to be in Justice League.

Why do people pretend batman isn't lame? He's literally too useless to be in Justice League. Cyborg can do anything tech and strategy that he can. And if flash exists, he's literally not needed in Gotham neither.

Goku spared Frieza in the movie because he wanted to train with him and Frieza proceeded to murder Goku's family, which he told Goku he would do at the start of the movie. Sparing the bad guy can be good sometimes, just not when you are Goku because he's moronic

People who like Batman like the standalone stuff where Batman is the focus. The extended universe shit is pure trash. The stuff that people like is very grounded. Batman is just a guy with no superpowers who uses gadgets and punches people good. Joker is just a guy wearing makeup. Penguin is just a short guy with money. Bane is just a big guy who punches people. While Batman has some villains that are supernatural like Clayface, no one likes that moronic shit.
Batman should not share the same universe as Mary Sue Superman who is infinitely strong and has every super power ever made up.
There was no Superman or Flash in Tim Burton's or even Nolan's Batman movies
There is a reason why Batman is the most popular super hero of all time while everything else is lame and gay.

Checked and I generally agree. Batman does have some kino moments with other DC capes like supes and wonder woman, but if you examine it closely, you'll see that their basic capeshit becomes elevated by Bats's presence. The only time I've remotely enjoyed DC's universe lore is when Morrison wrote Final Crisis, and it was only good because it was pivotal to his Batman run.

I actually enjoy the Batman and Superman stories because they compliment each other pretty well - Superman is physically pretty powerful but painfully naive while Batman is just a human but incredibly capable and smart. I'd also argue that Batman is as ridiculous as Superman is when you look at him closer; Batman is pretty much the earth's best general, best tactician, expert thief, best detective, best martial artist, has "human super strength", doesn't need to sleep pretty much at all, has gadgets for everything, has plans for every single situation, endures massive physical pain and strain... the list goes on even if you only look at his standalone stories. He's cool and all but "a guy whose good at punching things" is putting Batman's abilities very mildly. The guy is pretty much as perfect as a human can be and more.

        You have the terminal comicsbrain.
Batman is almost 100 years old and has been written by thousands of writers. Not every story is canon, not every person reads every story or watches every movie.
In Tim Burton's Batman he is just a guy who has a lot of money. A very autistic guy. Not a particularly smart guy or this amazing fighter, just a guy with gadgets.
In Nolan's Batman he is a trained fighter with gadgets.
In Arkham Asylum he is roided fighter with even more advanced gadgets.

I don't give a shit that in chapter 124 of Batman versus The Ape Man (1934) Batman was the president and a vampire who doesn't have to sleep. Every Batman story is its own canon pretty much only sharing some elements that people expect from Batman.

cyborg belongs in teen titans not the justice league, he's only in it because geoff johns has a hardon for the 80s where he was in the cartoons. In any case batman can hack and disable cyborg with countermeasures, and his strategic mind is not 1/10th that of Wayne's.

Nope, he's most kino in the Timm DCAU where he is the hypercompetent genius within the Justice League who moggs superheros.

(Although some of the definitive Batman stories feature and reference Superman so I don't know if we can excise him entirely. I think the TDKR fight is good.)

Every superhero is equally powerful. "Batman is just a guy in a suit" gays are just as delusional as "Superman is too powerful to be interesting" gays. They will always win in the end no matter what bad guy they're up against or what their powers are at the moment.

Batman's powerlevel is off the charts for a simple human, that's why he's in the Justice League. I guess he also represents pure humanity in the team but yeah, he's just ridiculously powerful. There's a reason why the "preptime" meme exists.

they dont want to explore too much the fact that supes is a brilliant scientist with an absurd level of technollogy to use.
he is already too overpowered,so batman is more intelligent somehow and he is the strategy chief for some reason.

Don't know much batman but I like that one episode in a batman cartoon where batman is tasked to kill a psychic child that would destroy the entire city if she were to die from her powers growing too much (rather than a physical injury), and he chooses to stay with her until her time comes rather than kill her. It was kino of the highest order.

Batman is only good when he gets to beat the shit out of slum lords, mafia thugs and other scum the corrupted US government ignores. When he is up against Darkseid and whatever, it gets dumb. He's just a man, a mentally ill man, who is very angry. Seeing how far he'll go every night to get one more shot in on the people he holds responsible for his parents death as a whole, is what makes him entertaining. I don't want to see Batman fighting space aliens and new gods and etc. That's getting too far away from some butthole with a revolver who wanted money

Batman existing with the others was always lame and it is fun to watch superman occasionally just dab on him. The most annoying them about him though is he's always characterized as so righteous when he has no grounds for it at all. He's an butthole who runs around beating people half to death and ignores the law to operate outside of it but then he acts like superman can't be trusted.

This phase of DC animated was based on the style of Masame Obari, but they forgot that Studio Mir isn't based like the Japanese studios and things like jingling breasts never appeared in this decade of this style, thankfully it's over.

No way any DC suits signed off on emulating Masami Obari. The coolest thing DC ever did was to get Madhouse to draw Batman, so I'll give them that, but Masami Obari? I don't believe it

The real answer is DC has always had character rights issues but Batman's "creator", Bob Kane, was a huge sellout who threw Superman's creators under the bus when they tried to get the rights back. Since then Batman has received preferential treatment from DC that increased after Warner bought them resulting in the "Batmania" of the 80's.
